10: best of the best
9: extremely well done and unique so that I appreciate it on a deeper level than just enjoyment. Sticks with me long after I complete the anime. Usually re-watched.
8: essentially 7's but without the qualifiers below
7: excellent; several elements are great; usually one fault holding it back from an 8 or some of the elements I only like instead of love.
6, it is well above average
5: average to slightly above average good enough that I'd watch a sequel if it came out
4: average to slightly below average. Not great but has redeeming qualities to it
3: had some decent elements to it, but overall a waste of time
2: pretty bad, usually something I actively hate about it
1: bad to the point I wonder if it was intentional

I think the program can serve as a presentation of some cliché sci-fi themes for children. But it was just that. An easy intertextuality, but I don't think it's all bad when it serves your target audience.
