| Damn these are absolutely AMAZING, I wish they would have more eps....it adds a whole new dimension to the storyline!! Especially since the main storyline diverges away from the people within the walls and their everyday dealings. Really glad they chose Annie, a mysterious figure who is so compelled with fulfilling her 'duty' , she can kill her comrade Marco.... yet still she feigns being a soldier. Why does she go so far, I hope Season 3 gives us more insight. Overall really liking these tho! similar to the Levi ova |
| Holy shit, this is actually fucking great! The ED was a really nice English ED. Beautiful sounding too! This OVA kind of fill in the void of Annie as a character and what she does before trying to capture Eren back in S1. Being a badass investigator even on her day off is just like the Annie I know. |

| Annie story starts at her room in the military police department. Talking with her roomate and taking a mission before starting Eren's hunting. She started the mission of finding Carly Stratmann, the daughter of a businessman. As she had an interview with her father and discovered almost nothing, she went to the pub Carly used to visit and extract information from the bartender and some clients. After discovering the adress of Carly's couple, she examines the place and discovers (possibly) Carly's corpse under the bed. Annie got a bit scared and made some noise, calling the neighbor's attention. I didn't know that an episode like this could be that interesting. The show's original topic changed from action to mystery and thriller. Annie definitely is a character that can be developed and be very interesting. Nothing to say about the animation cause these are OVA's and can't be found in high quality that easy. |

| Judging from how a majority of the Military Police are filled with corrupt and lazy bums, people like Marlo and Annie are breaths of fresh air in that unpleasant environment. Despite her being a traitor the whole time, it's rather nice of her to do something productive as opposed to the others and on her day off as well. It's been a while since I've seen anything AoT related, let alone Annie, so the one prominent thing that's been pointing out throughout the episode is her nose. Nice to see her have some tinges of conscience towards Marco's death that was directly caused by her nabbing his gear because it shows that a part of her isn't necessarily composed of blind obedience. Her badass no-nonsense detective style is also very reflective of her philosophy of the end justifying the means because she's willing to let the crimes of others slip if it means finding her target. Too bad he's dead though, oof. |

| wow, i really lost hope in the animation of marco's death scene happening, and here it is. it might've been in the anime and i've forgotten, but its a good thing it was animated at all since it's a good event that takes place to let you know what reiner, bertholt, and annie do to get what they want. |

| Damn, that was suspenseful! I'm pretty glad they decided to do this special, the mystery between the father and the daughter is becoming interesting. I was surprised by how Annie reacted to that corpse under the bed, I thought she was fearless. |

| Annie! So two badass waifus (Annie and Mikasa) of AoT had their own OVA's preeetty nice. Annie is a cold hearted girl but i still liked her, maybe theres a big reason why she act that way and do these kind of things. I want her to be happy i hope she change or find the light in her life it looks like she had a pretty dark past. Really miss her i hope i see her more great and badass ep 5/5 |

| this episode was fine. we see how that marco scene has affected annie, they still haven't shown that scene fully, just showing the same clips from season 2. i think they will show them in season 3. can't wait to watch season 3 after finishing 2nd episode of this. they tried to make annie look especially bad ass and tough( she is but still, there was an emphasis on that). fight scene was nice. this adds nothing to the main plot i think. so its okay to skip this ova. being a completionist, i'm watching all ovas. this episode was 7/10. lets see how good next episode turns out to be. and this is taking place before annie's and eren's fight right? |

| Finally watching Lost Girls, while re-watching all of AOT; just finished re-watching season one. The final season part 3 part 1 (yup) aired a few weeks ago, and yeah I'm going through it all again while the hype is real, until the final FINAL episode airs in a few months or whatever it may be. And on re-watch, I'm appreciating it FAR more than when I initially watched it 5-somewhat years ago. For some reason, I never bothered to watch "Lost Girls". I'm not going to bother with the OVAs that came before this since it doesn't seem they add much, but I did watch "No Regrets" at one point and thought it was alright. This though, doesn't just seem like some throwaway side story; it's one that they really wanted to tell, they just didn't want to include it in the main series, or in season 2 perhaps. And I'm glad they didn't, because I notice now that AOT (at least the first season so far, have to keep re-watching to see and remember how it is) is so fast-paced, and including this in the main seasons would make said fast-pacing grind to a halt. That's not a bad thing though, and that's especially not the case since this has been kept as a separate ova series. For one, it is nice to take a breather. But it's not any throwaway breather: it's more of Annie, and seeing what she was up to before she set out to capture Eren in the whole female titan arc. It's really nice to get this actually, to get more of Annie before the long stretch of time before she finally wakes up again after crystallizing herself. It's not complete fluff either, she is having flashbacks of her own about her father, and it is mostly running in parallel work with this detective work she is working on. Speaking of, it's nice to see something of a smaller scale for now, instead of the fights that take place on a grander scale. Just seeing her going about looking for this girl is amusing in its own right. Anyhow, enough of that, and on to the next part. Would like to add that it is common for the op and ed to be reused in ovas and specials and such. But Lost Girls has its own outro, visuals and song and all. No intro, but honestly it isn't needed. Gives more time to tell this story anyway. Was just meaning to say that these ovas are getting a good treatment, seeing it comes with its own ed. |

| See, just as I thought, the fact that Annie was haunted by Marco's death even though she was just watching proves that Annie is not evil-minded. Damn the toilet is so beautiful? Modern day toilet. Please let Annie be the main character please I don't know if I'm watching AOT or Case Closed lol Father and daughter, a typical rich family Man... humanity is about to be destroyed and there's still a university hahaha that's ridiculous This wonderful atmosphere appeared in AOT for real? I love this ep damn awesome Annie I want her to be like this in the main story. I think with her ability, even though Annie can't turn into a titan inside Wall Sina, she doesn't need to be so scared. The world inside Wall Sina opened up so wonderfully. There isn't a titan that this ep is still so captivating. beautiful ED. An OVA ep with the quality of a movie. Thank you Annie, my feelings are complete. |

| Annie, Reiner and Bertholdt. Three characters i will forever love and three characters that deserve better. A very good episode, i feel really bad for Annie, the guilt she must feel is absurd. I like the work she's doing looking for the missing girl. |
