| Cooking shows don't really mean anything to me, but to be honest just being able to watch some cute slice of life sequences with nobody jumping at each other's throats is extremely welcome and wholesome, after all the suffering porn that went on throughout all three routes of F/SN. I really look forward to seeing more heartwarming scenes. Yeah, this show feels like another love letter to the fans. Sure it's no Carnival Phantasm, but it doesn't need to be. It's fine like this. |

| This entire show is based on the very thing I hated about the first season of Fate/stay night UBW (TV). But it somehow does it better. I guess because I'm not expecting action scenes. |

This is a very incorrect view that unfortunately was all too common and fans have been trying to explain for a decade, but may be easier now that Heaven's Feel finally is getting adapted. Fate/Stay Night is one single visual novel comprised of three routes that have to be played in order, it's a trilogy of stories based on branching paths. They are called Fate, Unlimited Blade Works, and Heaven's Feel. The first Fate route was badly adapted to the 2006 DEEN anime, while UBW was made a movie and then an Ufotable anime. Heaven's Feel was the one that was unknown to anime fans until the first movie for it by Ufotable finally came out. Each route builds on the last, and the tone gradually gets darker and more cynical. That's kind of the point of Fate/Stay Night, starting off with Shirou as a wide-eyed idealist and almost useless master in the fate route, and subverting the typical "shonen hero saves the world" story as players play different routes where things happen differently. Unfortunately since the DEEN anime of the first route, meant to be the more generic lighthearted story, was titled "Fate/Stay Night", lots of people just assumed that was the entire work and judged the series based on that, even though the whole point was to get increasingly cynical and show how not everything is as easy and resolved as it seems. Shirou also develops differently in each route. Fate/Stay Night needs to be judged by all three routes as a whole. Unfortunately ufotable isn't making an adaptation of Fate so people will have to read or watch the visual novel for a better experience of it, but they did adapt Unlimited Blade Works (though they omitted a lot of the monologues), and from what I hear did a great job with the Heaven's Feel movie so far. If you're a die-hard zero fan for the darker tone and themes, you may enjoy Heaven's Feel the most as it's about equally dark. A lot of Fate/Zero was written based on Heaven's Feel's revelations though so you're spoiled for a number of things meant to be big twists. Similarly unfortunately the old 2016 anime also spoiled quite a bit of UBW, just know that in the original Fate story Caster had almost no role, so most of what you see going on regarding Caster happened only in UBW storyline. |

| I believe that like me, every big fan of Fate has always wanted to see the Emiya family in a slice of life, and specially to see the great cooker Shirou in action. It also made me a lot of hunger... The mood of the new year is wonderful, the design of the characters is beautiful and cool. Medusa is so beautiful *-*!!! Does Cu die in this anime too? Looking forward to the next episode. |

| As soon as I read of its realization, it was my intention to see this anime series. The table is convivial and this episode seems to grasp its meaning almost perfectly. The style of drawing and funny, but fits well with the purpose, the backgrounds and animations are excellent, I'm hungry after the plate of Emiya. I can not wait to see the next episode, too bad that the episodes last only 13 minutes. |

| Everything about this ep. was so pure and adorable! From opening to ending, I couldn't stop grinning. Best Fate/ content ever. 10/10. Also, yes, let old man Kirei cook some mapo tofu and share it with everyone. |

| its a fun little relaxing anime kind of makes you sad if you think about it when they have to kill each other but on the other hand it flushes out more sides of our loved characters and just looking them being goofy is enjoyable in its relaxing way ^^ |

| Really loving this spinoff. So much fan service!!! <333 Takes awhile to get used to the brighter more optimistic art style and coloring but it gives the show such a happy relaxing feel to it. That kotatsu scene was so cute! |

| Ah! It seems so strange to comment again on the episodes already seen, but given my current situation it is right to do so. However, already in the first episode there are signs of how this anime series will be: well designed and animated very well. Cute characters in their facial expressions.
