really hope this is able to match ito's entertaining stuff, his stories while not exactly good most the time are almost always crazy or interesting enough to grab your attention.

also please adapt the one where the dude is just trapped under the house pillar, that is the funniest thing ever and would be legendary in anime form.

I hope it is at least as good as Evil or Live and Ousama Game. And not as bad as Mayoiga (this show should not be listed as horror)

I dont think it can work any other way than a short, his long stories would probably only adapt to 10 minutes or so. The only thing to come out of a full lengthed episode is a compilation of stories each week, which i wouldnt mind but i wont be heartbroken if its only 10 min episodes

10-15 minutes is okay I guess but I don't want 3 minutes or shorter episodes like yami shibai.

YES MAI BOI SOUICHI I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU ANIMATED
Hopefully, Deen will go Rakugo-quality with this adaptation and not AoOni-one. Ito-sensei's works demand the best treatment ever.

eh, these days im less scared of Deen getting involved in something (even tho sometimes, they reminds us that they can be garbage, like with the ao oni movie .-.).
The director sure is a little bit ... questionnable, but hey, the source material of Diabolik lovers was terrible to begin with.

Actively prays that it's good.

Deen is somewhat capable but not ideal. We still don't have a definite director so, fingers crossed.

The "Deen is trash." meme is pretty much dead dude. Have you seen Konosuba and Rakugo? They aren't a bad studio.

Gonzo made Welcome to the NHK, did that suddenly made the stdio good? Nope.

Plus I have seen Rakugo (it's in my favourites). But they also made The reflection and were part of Neo Yokio's production.

I'm looking forward to see if it can translate well into animation without the mangaka eerie and atmospheric art touch.

Well we've got confirmation that we're getting Souichi, Oshikiri, and Intersection Pretty Boy. Those were some of the best stories out of the collection imo. If they pick the one Souchi chapter I'm thinking of for the last ep then it'd be the perfect finale.

Here's hoping they adapt Memories of Real Shit too.

I don't really trust adaptations of horror/terror mangas to anime because all I've seen have been bad and I don't think this is the exception, sadly.

We're gonna have a Pupa 2.0, probably.

What are you talking about? Konosuba is trash and Rakugo is only good because they got outsiders working on it!
