| I expected the girl to die after reading the title of the episode but I still don't think spending the whole first episode on a characters background that just dies at the end a good idea. We're back at square one next episode. I just hope the next title doesn't heavily hint at what's going to happen. |

YAAAAY KILLING GAME!!! So, I'm expecting this to be action packed, gory and sometimes hit the feels. Not really watching for plot heavy story or great character development, although, I will be super happy if it happens :) A concise storytelling is enough for this kind of anime, I guess lol Ox is husbando material. He is so gonna die. Tiger is cute. Gonna die. Rabbit is annoying as hell. Gonna survive some time, not gonna win. Monkey reminds me so much of Bulma from DBZ, don't know why. | Watching this solely for Bunny Guy and Okamoto Nobuhiko voicing a psycho character. Expecting some mindless gore and action. So far so good. I actually one of those who expect Boar's death. Too many monologue and build up I was not surprised at all by her death. I was more surprised by Bunny's necromantist ability. Voice acting are all good. Looking forward to next |

| At first glance this anime seemed awesome, the fight scenes in the beginning looked stunning! Then in the middle I started having doubts, the plot seems slapped on as an afterthought just as a means to have interesting characters kill eachother. Then when shit started to hit the fan I realized that I don't give a shit about the plot and I wanna see how it unfolds! Who's gonna win? Sure the battle royale for a wish is a cliche, but it does the job. Also Boar was a pompous bitch (who was sexy as hell) but I'm kind of glad she got wrecked. Never underestimate your opponent lol, this usagi guy looks dope af too. Also it can't be overstated how good the animation looks. Definitely excited for this one. |

Yes she's evil (then again her sister was messed up too so I don't really pity her, poor foxes T-T) but since she was so confident it's a let down :( I was hoping even after getting stabbed she'd turn things around. | God damn, the edge is real. Boars Background story was pretty extreme. But one could really see that twist coming, she didn't had that MC vibe.. And a fact one can't deny that it's just shitty writing to kill a character off after dedicating an entire episode to him. Well however,it was still entertaining nonetheless, tho,premise is reminding me at Saw and I kinda wanna know what the "gamemaster"is trying to achieve with this battle royal,aside from having a Good time. |

| I'm impressed. Very impressed. It has a lot of things that I like in it, manipulative character, insane character which is actually somewhat clever, violence with blood, battle royale... I could go on. I highly doubt the boar is dead, since she was literally the main character from the beginning. |

| Holy crap. That was a great first episode. Amazing animation quality, too. That finished so fast. Everyone's not trustworthy in this show. Lol. They're all scary. That Monkey girl is cute, but lowkey I know she's terrifying. Golly! Can't wait to see more of this anime. A big sister being the reason why her little sister lost her mind started killing people without hesitation that she ended up killing herself. She's so salty for not being chosen as a representative of their family for that contest or whatevs. Usagi guy, stop scaring the fuck outta me. Lmao. Just found out that this is from the author of Monogatari Series. Omfg. No wonder I love the dialogues so much. Mindfuckingblown. |

I'm trying to hear the referee's explanation, here. so are they just referencing the chinese zodiacs? or will they follow the bazi, 5 gods, and the 12 zodiacs rules in the plot? because Snake essentially strikes Boar down (just like in the rules,) and Boar is now going to be made a friend by Rabbit, which, if we follow the rule, then the Sheep old man will follow suit (though maybe not on the same fashino) as a combo of three. also it's pretty obvious the sleepy dude is Rat, which makes sense if he joins forces with Monkey. If they really do follow the rules, then Tatsumi Aniki will join forces with them, too, as the Dragon. |

| Pretty sure boar has a special ability other than firing guns and she doesnt know about it, his dad victory of the last juuni taisen is a proof that its unlikely win with only guns (dunno if special ability can be obtain through genetics or training) Something also tells me that boar may comeback alive. Out of all characters they could of start of with, they start with her and they'll be a reason for it. |

| I thought it was stupid. Couldn't stand the Boar's inner monologue, and the character designs are silly. It's just really not my kind of thing. I'll watch next week's, and if I don't like it then I will drop it. I guess I liked sleepy guy and the pacifist monkey girl. |

| I was not expecting that to be so bloody, damn. Really good first episode though. Sure, it throws you in the deep end with some random woman narrating, but not in a bad way. At its heart the story seems pretty simplistic so I like the way it just dives right into it! Usagi and Nezumi are best so far. Bunnies are cute anyway, and I was born in the year of the Rat so :P Given that ending, we know Ino isn't the protagonist. In fact, it seems the series doesn't have one and that it's gonna focus on one character per episode? Does that mean it's gonna be 12 episodes all taking place in 12 hours?? Might be a tight fit honestly- but I guess it'd make more sense if they did 2 cours and split between character episodes and plot. Getting that Fate feeling~ I always prefer it when these sorts of battle royale series don't have just one MC because it increases the risk factor ten fold. |

| Rather interesting anime so far, kill everyone and gather the jewels or die yourself. The way this Boar girl manipulated her sister like that was something else. She's not off to a good start thought, we have to wait until next episode to see if and how she can get herself out of this predicament. |

| Battle royale that is taking place for no apparent reason: excellent excuse to make an anime with tons of high-action fight scenes with little-to-no storyline required. Damn this turned out to be a thousand times better than what I was expecting from every angle. I was expecting this to be a cheap and cheesy "lets kill eachother for no reason" show with throw-away characters and "meh' animation. The premise is extremely simple, more so than I would have thought even; but it is still effective in grabbing a little bit of interest. (Although, I laughed at the ridiculousness of the setup where the host guy tells them to swallow their crystals; then immediately informs them they all just swallowed poison.) From the beginning, we get beautiful hi-def backgrounds, clean looking character designs, and sharp sound effects. The animation is very well done and fast-paced for the high-action scenes. We also get flashbacks to establish background info on the Boar, and narration into what she is thinking. Aaaaand then the person we thought was going to be the MC gets brutally murdered. (reminds me of Shiki's first episode.) Now that the Boar has already died (supposedly. pls, no plot armor), hopefully this means we will get to see from the other warriors' perspectives. |

| That was ok. The animation was certainly impressive, but that was about it. Hits most of the death game cliches. I hate the personality type of the boar, it's so cringey, so if she dies then good riddance. But I have my doubts that she goes down that easily. Not when an almost entire episode was dedicated to her backstory. Pretty sick what she did to her sister. The monkey is a cutie, and so is the Rooster. Inb4 the Monkey is pure evil because that shit always happens for some reason; but hopefully not this time. So isn't there supposed to be a Dragon zodiac? They said all the players were there, but there were only 11 Zodiac. The twins were considered one, the Snake. Guess we'll see. Not a big fan of gory sadistic shows, so I wonder if I'll last. |
