Well, we were all deep in the abyss now for the past episodes, so seeing the land on top of the abyss made me let out a sigh of relief because I'm terrified for Riko and Regu. Fucking Ozen. How dare you hurt my kids!?!?! You bitch! You bastard! You massive asshole! Ohmygod. I'm so pissed off! How fucking dare you!?!?!?!! I hate her so fucking much! Someone kill her already. I love you, Marulk! You did a great job calling the cave raiders. Ugh. Ugh. I fucking hate Ozen so much, and nobody can convince me to like her if she's going to redeem herself. How fucking dare her hurt great kids like Regu and Riko!?!? I fucking knew she was lying. Fuck you, Ozen. Lyza is alive everyone. Yaaaas! So, Ozen is Lyza's mentor? Idgaf. I still hate her. Fuck Ozen. And is she a fucking immortal? Hahhaa. She doesn't age like what the fuck. My children will survive that 10-day survival training. They can do it. Yaaas. The Abyss is a ruthless and unforgiving place, you cannot go there with the naivity those 2 kids were entering it. She kind of gave them a wake up call and is gonna train them to be prepared. Yes, it's harsh, but I don't think going soft in these conditions is welcomed and effective. I for one love this kind of mentoring and delivers the best lessons. You'll probably forgive her the next episode. |

| After seeing more Ouzen in this episode, I came to love her. Subconsciously even! Since I found out she was voiced by Oohara Sayaka the goddess. Wtf lol. Also it's nice seeing the reality starts in this episode. No more sightseeing carefree abyss travel. Kinda early. So it's good. |
| Holy cows! That certainly escalated quickly! The revelations about Riko being a stillborn is astonishing. The fight scene with Ozen was great too! I said last episode that she was hard to read, and this episode confirms it with her 'test' against Riko & Reg. She had me fooled as I literally thought she was going to kill them, especially when she aimed Reg's incinerator against Riko. I haven't read the manga but I'm starting to hope that we'll get a decent conclusion for this season seeing there's only 6 episodes left and clearly a lot more of the Abyss to explore. |

| The Ozen torturing Riko and Reg scenes were surprisingly awesome. About halfway through their ordeal I thought they were going to somehow manage to kill Ozen, but then it was all a sadistic test!! |
| Was surprised that Ozen's flashback got cut, probably because the remaining time for the current episode is too short or they are trying to make it as perfect as possible(because imo it's very gud). The latter part of the flashback is what made me go from "omgasdf dis douchy derp mahgrd" into "asdafadasfsad i want to be her disciple too and be someone she could depend on". |

And since you obviously like shounens, trust me, the "because reasons / for no apparent reason " is specially used in these shows. I am just saying, that in the future, if you get to watch a lot more shows, youll find Made in Abyss as a pretty inteligent and reasonable anime. |

| Thank you spooky Ozen. So Riko is technically dead? Wow. Regu will have to get good if he wants to protect her, I really like how the story starts to finally have stuff going on instead of just wanting to go down, Made in Abyss keeps getting better and better. |

| Should have been thrilling and gripping; it was, to an extent, but probably not as much as they would have liked, because for a certain reason the emotions/motives were awkward. At one point it seemed fucked up and confused; another point it felt oversimplified and immediate/forced. Dunno, I'm not as good a critic as I want to, so I can't really express my view eloquently I think |

| Mysteries and more mysteries, I need to know how to solve all the unknown with time. The development of characters is splendid and the soundtrack is amazing, I like the scenes of seriousness or emotional impact in any character. Good episode. 5/5  I love the design of Ozen in the manga and anime. |
