| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lyra's dream was creepy tbh. It showed her facing herself(?) while all her friends seems to be dead. One thing I do enjoy about this series is the amount of world building. So far, they've traveled to several places already and each one offers something new. The place they arrive this episode has some wonderful water resources. Kinda liked some of the new people introduced this episode especially the eyepatch dude. |

| Apart from the ending the episode was pretty relaxing. It's questionable why Gran left Rulia alone tho, he dropped his guard seeing how peaceful things where. But judging from the reaction of the people in the city the Empire isn't welcome which could be a good thing for Gran and his friends. |
| Pretty laid back episode for the most part, it was pretty relaxing and pleasant to watch. Love the city and water, very reminiscent of Aria, has a really nice atmosphere to it. I laughed when Eugen told Rackam he's joined the league of old men. XD Katalina in the kitchen is dangerous, wonder if the kitchen is alright. :( Those 3 guys at the fish stall were hilarious with their slang. XD Gran buying Lyria a present was really sweet. Sadly our episode ends with Lyria being kidnapped and what was that item they used to subdue her? That was quite interesting. Hope Gran and co can rescue Lyria. |

| Okay, bumping this to an 8. I love how they craft a nice world here. This new city surrounded by water was fascinating. Also the character interactions are great, especially Gran and Lyria. The accessoire on her looks wonderful. |
| Sky sea island, they're at war with the empire and old man eugen gets them to help around. Gran and Lyria going around the city but she gets kidnapped at the end :'( |

| Whoa! The cameos were out in full force this episode! I really hope we get one from Charlotta or Arulumaya at some point. Really good episode. Somehow Granblue Fantasy seems to have a way of making even the filler episodes pretty entertaining, and this continues to be just a very beautifully Animated show. |

Io is very annoying, but I can't dislike her because of her usefulness in battle and being able to help others out like she did in this episode. Those gondolas reminds me a bit of Italy. Katalina think the kitchen is also a battlefield, I don't think they will let her in there ever again. Damn, Gran was just about to confess his feeling for Lyria. Hopefully he can save her in the next episode. Not gonna be easy with the empire around. |

| Would've given this a 5, but then these guys showed up: The BGM for this ep is so nostalgic Didn't expect Karteira of all charas to show up. Hearing Eugen doesn't feel the same anymore TT_TT That running gag with Kat's cooking never gets old. Overall, 3/5. |
| ohhhh my god this was sooooo boring. Jesus have some plot progression for fuck sake. I would rather have rectal cancer than see this show for 5 more episodes. I was hoping that her deream was a reality and the were all dead. The world would be a better place. Sooo boring soooo slow sooooo generic soooooo Gran Blue Fantasy. |

| Finally we get to see Auguste! Hello there, Eugen. Been looking forward for him to appear in the anime. And they show how bad Katalina with their cooking XD They changed some parts from the game, but still enjoyable. |
| episode is redeemed since got to see Lowain WOOT WOOT ,Karteria getting a very minor cameo is also nice hopefully at some point some of the non story characters actually join the crew instead of just being cameos but i understand limiting them to that since there is far to many of them to be apart of the crew to make any sense plot wise lol. |

| Oh noes! Lyria has been taken! just like Rumia lolz LOL Eugen thought Rackam bring his family...himself as the father, Katalina as the mother and 3 kids as Gran, Lyria & Io. But later on he explained that they are Skytravelers... The whole party is almost complete! Eugen & Rosetta left for the party to be completed! 3/5. |

| Quite the relaxing episode but it does feel like its the calm before the storm though. And man that dream of Lyria's was pretty creepy. Hope its not a foretelling of what will happen though. Hmm the the plan by the mad scientist finally comes to head eh. Adding some mysterious chemical into someone's water supply is their plan eh. Hmm man that must have been a nightmare to Lyria when she saw herself as the culprit in that dream of hers though. Hmm an ocean among the clouds eh wow. Still its nice seeing Lyria and Io get excited though. Both have had a plot of things on their minds lately. Plus its nice that they become good friends as well too since they are of similar age as well. Katalina really has a big sister like personality eh. Still she is perhaps Lyria's closest friend and guardian i guess. Hmm landing on the water with a airship eh. Well it is a island that has a ocean after all so i guess they can't land on anything but that. Hmm Io has a point though for such a beautiful island there's hardly anyone around. Hmm so it looks like something is causing the sea animals to die off and turn into that gross slime thing. Something empire related i would hazard. Hmm looks like Rackam really met a old friend of his eh. Lol i can just picture Rackam as a kid though all serious as he tried to repair his airship though. Lol the thought that the party is actually Rackams family though lol. Still if you have Rackam as the father and Katalina as his wife then Gran and Lyria and Io can be the children with Vyrn as the pet dragon then i can see it lol. Katalina's response though and IO's lol. Hmm so the party walked into a war zone eh. As suspected it was the empire that was polluting the ocean but to think that this will start a war with the empire though. Still as the ocean is one of the countries main resources for tourism i guess polluting it is like destroying their lifeblood. Hmm it won't be unusual for a ocean based country to have a guardian deity though. Hmm wow the capital city for Auguste really looks nice. The capital doesn't look like its at war though does it. They must really have faith with the main force though. Hmm with the war drawing the countries main force to the front lines the city has little in the away of reserves to defend against monster attacks though. Still good thing that Io knows healing magic though as she will be of great hep here. Still i like this aspect of Io's personality in that she doesn't like seeing innocents hurt. Still its nice that the party is helping the people of this country in their fight against the empire. Hmm Gran and Lyria get the easier job of going shopping eh. Still sight see and shopping eh man they got the easiest job lol. Still its nice seeing both Gran and Lyria have fun though. Hmm a family run food stall eh. Those brothers sure were funny. Lyria's cute when she's embarrassed though lol. Still its nice to take the time to relax once in a while though. Hmm so Rackam though clearly wanted to be a captain deferred to Gran because of how he saw Grans quest and how it seemed that he needed all the help he can get eh. Hmm judging by that reaction Katalina's cooking skills are really bad eh. Hmm so if you wear jewelry thats from the sea then its guardian will bless you eh. Seems plausible actually. Good selling point though. I do like the explanation that the shopkeeper gave though. We live by the sea and the sea gives you life eh. Still looks like Gran's relationship with Lyria is going well. Its nice that Lyria through her travels with Gran and the others are able to make plenty of amazing memories though. Before she was just always sad and being used by the empire for their experiments. Still i wonder who this mysterious witch thats been helping them is though. She seems to be an ally so far. Man it seems the empire is starting their plan then. But man for Lyria to be kidnapped now when she's happiest the empire sure is inconsiderate thats for sure. |

| Strong and incredibly pleasant episode. The visuals and sound for this show are so stellar, and the world is utterly fascinating. Pretty much every single one of this show's strong points were very well utilized in this episode. Not to mention good character interaction. This city of water is incredible, and Lyria's accessory is really cute on her. Despite this being easily predictable, I enjoyed it nonetheless. |
| Narrative rhythm is as slow as usual, but there is good in this episode, the cast is almost complete and those three sellers are fun. XD |

| Good relaxing episode. Until the end that is. I found myself really relaxed at this episode. I mean, look at that beautiful city. Blue water, blue skies, blue city. I would love to go there if its real. Its like Venice. And for some reason it reminds me of Aria. Leaving Lyria alone was a foolish move, Gran. He let his guard down. And there's mysterious lady too. |

| The episode actually was interesting only in the final part, but it was still enjoyable thanks to the sympathy of the characters and the comic situations encountered during the narration, especially those three at the fish stand, they were very hilarious. A new arc has begun, I can't wait to understand where it will take us. |

| Fantasy setting of Venice, Lyria and Gran going alone together shopping and sightseeing which means they finally got the perfect date!...if not for the kidnapping. Hopefully we get one romantic moment between Rackam and 'his wife' Katalina. |
