| Kurama is really cool, but to be honest, I didn't find the fight that interesting. The villain was pretty bland. |

| Those beast aren't really all that i guess. Sure he was dangerous but the fame they have is even bigger than their power. |
| Yea I agree, pretty bland first boss, but then again, I would hope they start bland and only get better as they go through each one. |

| Of course Genbu had an easily exploitable weakness, making for an uninteresting duel. With three Saints Beasts left out of the four, I suppose each of the main cast will be fighting against one of them. |

| Hiei was given his first chance to turn over a new leaf and he went with it (after a short fakeout). <3 What a tsundere. Genbu looks hilarious and Kuwabara's reactions were cracking me up. xD And then when Kurama brought his whip out... So I guess Hiei forgave Kurama for what he did before? =P Balls joke. xD |

| Damn, Hiei is a quality tsundere. I love how Kuwabara kept emphasizing that they were fighting "a talking rock" for motive of the enemy being terrifying. It was Kurama's time to show off his skills, and he did great! "It smells girly, I don't think I like it", please Kuwabara, how can you not like something as fabulous. Yusuke disappointed me tho, everyone loves kittens, no manly man has to be ashamed for liking them. |

| These battles are pretty interesting. Really does focus heavily on the battle shounen aspect. |

| hiei seems to me developing the same way vegeta from DBZ is, though felt little forced. and kurama's abilities are superb. this arc feeling to me more developing character arc than anything, and i like it, it have the same kind of action we had so far. |

| The main characters are very charming since they able to make this trite stuff very enjoyable. |
| We understood as soon as we met Hiei that he was sly and selfish, but only once we see him run around really fast trying to kill Yusuke does he become the character he's supposed to be. We just got to witness a similar sort of thing with Kuwabara at the tournament, but after teasing us since his introduction, Kurama reveals his powers and thus a more thorough nature of his character in this episode. Not only is the fight fun, but it confirms everything we expected of Kurama up to this point. Hiei even implies he's extremely strong before we see him go into action at all. That, along with the background we've established for his character so far, really makes him a potential wild card in my eyes. Each of the characters intrigue me for their own reasons, but Kurama is clearly unique and I'm most excited to see who he really is as the show goes on. |
