Hard to figure out these days which rumors are legit or not. Just last week if someone told me the Lakers would scoop up Gasol for as little they gave up... | Riley would be crying tears of joy if he moves Shaq for Marion + Banks, Marion will most likely opt out at the end of the season giving Riley lots of cap room when you combine that with J Will and Ricky Davis contracts expiring. He takes the best player he can get in the draft, hopefully Rose or Beasley and than goes after someone like Elton Brand and the Heat will be back on track quicker than they have any right to be. |
| That would certainly be ideal for them. I predict Miami to end with the worst record in the league when all said and done. I'm a Knicks fans (I know, life sucks) so I'm crossing my fingers for either Rose or Beasley... But knowing our luck it just won't happen. I don't really see the Shaq/Marion trade happening so with that huge salary it won't be as easy for them to turn it around in one year. |

| I'll find my lol review for the first FMP from like 2002 or whatever. me from 2002 said: Well I started following this series as soon as AnimeDaisuki posted a realplayer trailer of it on their site September 2001. I loved the start of it, the first seven eps were gold but then the filler episodes started to get annoying so I stopped watching it for a long time (until about a month ago) and focused on other series I was finding much more interesting (RahXephon, Scryed). I started watching again and the next serious mini arc (the Behemoth) wasn't that well done but episodes 15-17 were excellent the high point of the series in my opinion. The ending arc was done well but just didn't do it for me as much as the start and 15-17. *cuts out stuff about animation when i really had no clue back than* If the filler episodes were of higher quality than this series would easily have made my favourite anime list but it just falls short, theres alot I like about it but it just isn't as good as the rest on my list. Something I would give a B to, a 8/10 a 80/100 etc Nice fun anime and I wouldn't mind a sequel at all Studio Gonzo. Now notice how I get on about those filler eps, looking at the FMP Manga we could've had the Bonta Kun/Kaname date episode as a "filler" instead of that affront against god that was the sports Arm Slave episode. Btw does anyone remember what 15-17 was? Was that when he back to where he was as I kid, I remember lots of people didn't like those eps back than, but I did. TSR was spectacular, the first combat scene was more impressive than anything in the first series and when those twins stared fighting hand to hand I was sold. It's still the best animated mecha tv series I've seen and no Gundam 00 doesn't come close. Code Geass 2 might take the title since it's supposed to be getting a big boost in animation but the next KyoAni FMP will take back the crown. |
| Oh I kept reading that thread from 02 where I posted that, next page I posted the breaking news from AOD about a sequel. AOD.. think the poster was duckroll who now posts on Suki and usually brakes a lot of information early said: Well, well, the super eager NeoEra should also have mentioned that the animation studio for FMP2 will be changed from GONZO to Kyoto Animation (what the hell?). Also the old staff will be almost completely replaced. The new director, Yasuhiro Takemoto, was last seen on the staff list of the Soultaker´s spin-off OVA "Nurse Witch Komugi-chan Magickarte". As for the possibilty for a sequel, it might disappoint you to say that the new series will be based on a short story arc (a side story maybe?), not a real continuation. Though that all doesn´t have to mean anything at all, I won´t count on the assumption that FMP2 will be the same as its predecessor. All those "animation" worries about Kyoto Animation taking over look pretty silly now don't they lol. Though at the time this news was posted (AIR wasn't out yet) this is all anyone knew about them. to those wondering what Kyoto Animation has done; they are credited under Inu Yasha under Episode Director, Animation Director, Continuity, Special Effects, Finishing, Backgrounds and Production Coordinator. |
