Hey, Groove, did you know? Now there is an official Shigurui FC on MAL. I just created it yesterday since there was not one, for my amazement, so far. Feel free to join in and invite you friends as well. Here: http://myanimelist.net/clubs.php?cid=21894 =)))

Greetings,
Decho

I don't think I'd want to play a VN from him. lol

You can read what I read from here. I apologize for the absolutely terrible source, but that site seems to like to cover stuff like that so it's the easiest way to find all the relevant news stories. The source articles are usually given so those are the ones you should check out.

I'm glad to see that you've simply been busy.

The anime of KnS actually covered the first 6 novels. There are only 7 total, with a few sidestory novels(I guess like FMP Fumoffu?). The last novel that focused on the main story was released in 2005 I believe, and it doesn't go much further from the end of the anime. Unfortunately, there isn't much material left to work with...

Kentarou Miura? He's not dead...last I checked, but he did seem to become obsessed with visual novels and 2ch memes all of a sudden. Not sure what happened there...lol I wonder if he ever got back to work.

From what I can remember of your class schedule, I can believe that it hasn't been easy. Especially if you're on a scholarship, I'm sure you don't have much room for error. I hope you make it through in one piece. :P

I see that I'm not the only one who has been gone for quite a while this year. I just got back after being gone for a few months...after being gone for a few months...after not watching anything for a few months.

I've been going through any news relevant to series I like so that I can be caught up with anything I missed, and uhh... Fuck.

I thought you'd like to know sooner rather than later, although I'm sure you won't be happy to be greeted with this...

i disliked cowboy bebop because it felt way too american to me, same goes for champloo by the same director

elfen was fun, i liked the fact that Lucy didn't care about cute or innocent, just pure revenge.

FLCL, Gankutsou - i liked the craziness and novelty of both, i still consider Gankutsou as one of the best shows from Gonzo.

Original GITS- might have been to harsh on this, but again this movie was too harsh on me, the movie needed a better prelude to explain what is going on before dropping me into the action, the series however fix this.

Higurashi- the nail scene was brutal on me as well... barely got over it... however this show is excellent if you got the guts to take the torture in it.

Kaze no Stigma- the only good things this show has are kazuma and a good opening song... the plot was shit, the fan service was dumb, character development was non-existent and they even made kazuma emo for a few episodes...

Kodomo no Jikan- i really like this show, the censoring made me wait to the dvds as well, this show is not about loli-fanservice, it was quite a refreshing seinen and that is why i likes it.

Mnemosyne- the main reason i gave it a 7 is because it was animated bad. real bad. for an OVA there should be better animators then what they had.

Red Hawk - they aired it on yes once, about the only place that aired it.

Haruhi - im a yuki fan myself, mikuru is ranked lower the koizumi for me... i really like the direction, animation, plot, non-linear airing and of course the novel. cant wait to season 2.

Welcome to the NHK - the production was shit. the plot was nice and all, but it had no production values... if it was handled by a different studio i might have given it a much higher score.

Thank you. I personally think so to lol :)

Have you seen samurai deeper kyo? I think you will like it quite a bit, the main character is a great deal like kazuma (it may not seem that way at first but give it a couple eps).

Hmmm i thought that the episode 0 of Candy boy was exactly the same as either episode 1 or 2 of the numbered series, thats why i asked you.

So episode 0 = 1 though based on what you said i guess they just re-named episode 0 to 1 and started from there when they decided to do more then one episode. I was going to put 0 on my list but i won't bother now as its just episode 1 renamed.
Phantom Aug 22, 2008 7:06 PM
So i watched Candy boy episode Zero and it seems to be the same as either episode 1 or 2. I can't remember which. Is there any difference?

Also Candy Boy EX01 is out!
Phantom Aug 10, 2008 1:32 PM
Saimin Gakuen is from the vanilla series so beware. Shoukokijo Iris has been out for a while now. You may want to check that out.
Phantom Aug 10, 2008 10:04 AM
Any more Candy☆Boy out past episode 2 yet? Can't find any in the whole minute i spent looking for it on my usual sites.

Also Hongfire is a pretty good place to get all the latest Hentai ect.
DazarGaidin Aug 9, 2008 12:13 PM
Looks like hajime recommends it too, so i guess ill add it to my to do list :)

I was thinking of watching Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora, on my nephews recommendation. It seemed from the synopsis to be depressing though...is it? I can handle some drama ala kanon 06 but i dont like the slit-your-wrist grave of the firefly level of depressing.
DazarGaidin Aug 8, 2008 6:26 PM
Point taken. :) Altho i believe we could have an intelligent conversation about it, its just not something i would prefer to get into. I don't necessarily dislike discussing the topic, but such weighty discussion isn't high on my fun factor, which is the only reason i come on here (as wrong as it might be, i both watch anime and come to these anime boards and stuff as a form of escapism)
It’s time to ditch the text file.
