| Haha. I'm not gonna waste my time by watching all 20~ minutes of each episode like I did with Valkyrie Drive. I watched that and this for one reason and that was for the obvious fan-service so I'll actively skip screen time to see what I came here for. It's pretty obvious that the actual serious stuff won't be anything good especially with borderline hentai as a main theme so it's not like I'll be missing anything worthwhile. |

| Thank goodness AT-X is airing this, ended up watching the censored version at first. Wow, out of all these mecha suit battle harems, this one has to have the worst suit designs. At least points to them for not CGI'ing their suits during actual combat. So much fucking lol when the turrets came out of the floor. One does not simply move a huge ass building that easily. And even more fucking lol when he screamed "Eros". Hoping the ecchi levels stay high up there. The combat was terrible though, not that that was a surprise. |

| Well I waited and actually watched the AT-X version since I heard the early episode was censored and had a terrible sub. As a fan of the LN and currently up to date with the latest translated volumes, I like it so far. It seems to be following the LN pretty decently. The animation/art style is not what I was expecting for this series but it is not too bad. The fight scenes were less than spectacular, as an action/harem/battle-school show its currently lacking in this department. I hope it steps up a little but I believe the next episode will be more about discovering the Eros core in Kizuna and how it works along with a little SOL school action(based on the LN) As far as the lewdness its right on course, hell it might be a little bit ahead of the LN at this point. The Heart Hybrid climax went way faster than the LN but it got the point across. In case anyone didn't know the Heart Hybrid Climax was a theory that Kizuna's mother came up(she will be revealed soon) with, she thought it would recharge the Ros Series cores faster since it takes a week or more to gain 10% of that count back naturally. She researched ways of regaining HH gear power back when Kizuna was a kid. This is the Ecchi/harem series fans of the lewdness have been waiting for. It seems likes its been quite some time since a new show like this was introduced especially uncensored right off the bat. Kizuna will play a Dense MC for a little while early on, but he changes pretty quickly once he figures out how the Heart Hybrid processes work. |

| With the AT-X version released... I now have two reasons to watch this. I don't think i need to elaborate any further. Just have to watch the first 5 seconds of this episode. Though jokes aside... It isn't as bad or intolerable as Seikon no Qwaser... The MC reminds me of To Love-Ru's MC Rito honestly... that godly Ecchi anime. |

The reality of things is there is no such thing as Shounen characteristics but just qualities usually found in Shounen. How do I mean? Well it all comes down to two things. 1. Shounen or Seinen doing the advertising through Magazine. 2. Whether the publish with Furigana which is a All Ages form of Kanji over regular Kanji. That's basically it. The only reason One Punch Man is Seinen not Shounen is because it was self published at first and the author went with regular Kanji and not Furigana. When it comes to Light Novels it gets interesting since there isn't Furigana involved on Light Novels just regular Kanji. In Fact adaptation like "Shinmai Maou no Testament" are both Seinen and Shounen because there is two publishers where one manga was done on Furigana and the other plain Kanji. Since the source is just a Light novel then Seinen and Shounen isn't used but "MALE" instead. High School DxD suffered from the same thing but the difference is that the publisher went with Furigana which is why the Manga is Shounen. The Light novel is "MALE". For example the anime that just finished airing "Flying Witch" is a Shounen and the MC is a girl and none of the "Shounen" things are there to speak off. This series "Masou Gakuen HxH" was first a LN then the Manga translation was picked up by Seinen publishers. Which is why it is Seienen. |
