That does not fly here. I mean it on concept, marketing, nuance and angle on regards to this medium as a whole. Although I have a chart if I don't understand a anime I will certainly not grade it. I want to separate myself from the cancer that currently plagues the anime community filled with pretentious wanna be reviewers whom resort to chicanery, word salad to save face and drive people attention away from their intellectual incompetence.

Gender Bender, False Yuri, Yaoi and Accidentally Straight Themes Welp, What can I say to many Men of Culture a Good Yuri is the sacred Holy Grail, but not for me. I like the Mental Fuckery of False Everything is what does it for me and Gender Benders.
I love the presumption of one thing, then later flipped on it's head to be another. How you have straight girls, fall in love with other girls then turns out that they're men, being by cross dressing, gender bending like the following examples
The World God Only Knows - Goddesses Arc - Godoi Yui and Katsuragi Keima
Who can forget, The World God Only Knows Season 3, Although only shown briefly on flashbacks, the MC, Katsuragi Keima swaps Bodies with a princess like young woman who's been sheltered her whole life, the God of Capturing Waifus for once must be captured by the princess now on his male body. the problems seems to have resolved but after effects linger on the fact that the once princess is a high class like tomboy who pursues romantic interest with Katsuragi Keima but she wants him to Cross Dress like a girl and tells him stuff that you'd only tell girls while she is the Knight in Shining Armor.
Oh boy, what i would give to see a series with that juicy of a premise and if anyone has the link to the specific point in time where this exchange happens in the manga, by this i mean when Katsuragi was being conquered and all. I would be forever grateful
Maken-Ki Two - Takeru Ooyama
Now the next Devil, Maken-Ki Two Episode 0, We see the MC Takeru Ooyama flirting with all the girls on this episodes and the Hot School Nurse too, one of the girls (Who is a super TRAP that has the power of Gender Bending), gets immensely jealous and turns him into a girl, our boy Takeru here made us proud and milked the opportunity not only bathing with the girls and doing all sorts of perverse acts but even masturbated (like let's be honest, who wouldn't do it, Masturbate if they were the opposite sex for a day) and enjoyed it, Although the ending is kinda serious when the threat of his condition being permanent arises on what is surprisingly emotional investing in it's last few minutes and to be honest, better drama than that over hyped, rated movie of all time "Your Name" has on it's entire movie duration
Kampfer - Senou Natsuru
How could I forget my boy Senou Natsuru from my All time Favorite, Kampfer. One of the great harem kings that isn't interested on any girls but just 1, and That girl is a damn Lesbian.
Senou Natsuru is a Man who dreams to be the boyfriend of his beloved Sakura Kaede, one of his School Top 2 Beauties, To his dismay he is chosen to be a Fighter, a Kampfer to fight battles vs Other Kampfers, the problem is that Kampfers must be female, and one day upon waking up he has Breast, a stunning body and Female genitalia and a stuffed animal, given to him by his crush tell him that he now is a Kampfer and can transform to either sex. (We all know what we Men of Culture would do with that Power, but do not fret, his is Denser than Ichika from Infinite Stratos)
In order to keep with the rules, Natsuru has gained the Ability to Sex Shift between Male and Female at will, Our protagonist gains a Harem, Yeah I know how rare? but on this story, the MC doesn't want it because Akane partner Kampfer, Mikoto Childhood Friend, Shizuku the Mature Student Council President are no match to Sakura Kaede, His one and Only Crush.
Imagine his shock when he finds out that Kaede is a big Lesbian and that she has the hots for Him, but not his true form, the Female Alter Ego that he transforms to when battling Kampfer.
Now add the fact that he is twice enrolled on his High School as his school has two separate Campuses, Male and Female are segregated and he attends both on different forms thanks to the sadistic Student Council President Shizuku.
Now Natsuru balances his life fighting, keeping up with school on both sides, Male and Female campuses and Oh Yeah destroying his budget buying more clothes as unfortunately, Transforming into a girl does not create underwear and Bras aren't cheap as he later finds out and trying to get Sakura Kaede dislike his female form and approach his male form while she absolutely loves his female form.
To Love Ru - Yuki Rito / Yuki Riko
Ah, Another one of my favorite series, To Love Ru Franchise, the ultimate mental fuck fest of all sort of fetishes and accidents that defy nature itself and it's also the will of the universe for Yuki Rito, Who for one episode became a woman due to his former fiance Lala experiment to make breast grow larger hit him and turned him into a girl.
he's been in and out of the form here and there but when he does, it is quite the sight to watch
Maidens are Falling for Me (Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru) - Mizuho Miyanokouji
imagine losing your mother, and then your grandfather, looking like your mother when she was young even though you're a dude and your Grandfathers death wish on his will is that he's Grandson attends school to the place, his beloved daughter attended, catch is the school only accepts girls and so with help of his childhood friend, he cross dresses into the most popular "Girl" in school but that's not all, the Student council hates his guts but as a straight woman begins falling for the cross dressed Mizuho who she believes is a girl, lot's of turmoil to make that decision then pays off when she finds out Mizuho is a Man.
one incredibly juicy series, one of my favorites to be sure.
Maidens are Falling for Me: The Elder Sister (Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru: Futari no Elder The Animation) - Chihaya Kisakinomiya
This one is a Masterpiece on my opinion but it's quite a lot more serious, MAL has as a synopsis "Two years after Mizuho's graduation... Mikado Chihaya was truant at his school because of harassment in the school and of a distrust in men. His mother cannot bear to watch him be in trouble, so she makes him transfer to Seiou Girls' School, her old school. He dresses as a girl and introduces himself as Kisakinomiya Chihaya. Chihaya meets Nanahara Kaoruko, who once rescued him from a playboy, and he begins to live in the dormitory building. He becomes the focus of public attention due to his attractive face and figure, and due to high grades at studies".
What it doesn't tell you, it's the reason why the MC was bullied so much was because his mother, lost a daughter, a twin of his and has been forcing him to cross dress sacrificing her son as a man to feel better for the loss of the daughter, emotionally burying him as a son and so using his sister identity to help his mother, simultaneously wrecking his psyche because he isn't a girl nor his sister.
This one it's a mixed bag but I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Anime it's the adaptation of Visual Novels, Light Novel and Manga that said they do not carry the same purpose. While Anime can illustrate a story it is foolish to judge anime to same standards since they're all carrying different nuances of marketing brought forth by different factors. Anime for the most part it's the advertisement of the source in question from which author makes their utmost gains, To this you'd think. Just what do you mean? How is anime categorized.
First I'll start with factors:
-Budget Allocation
-TV Slot Booking
-Marketing
-Source Length & Popularity
These factors play heavily into format. Airing formats for anime that go into 2 strains of anime we see today. Both categories and sub-categories that play into depiction and are as follows:
1. 12 Episode Format: This format has two sub-categories and it's commonly used for messages or summary of extremely long sources and are as follows.
Summary Format This format is commonly used for Harem / Ecchi like adaptations which constitutes of multiple heroines with different personalities as love interest as fall back or secondary genre as it is, It's stories are ungodly long following the protagonist.
These adaptations are nuanced as highlights delivering plot hooks with no much elaboration to guide people to the source as well as pleasing the fans seeing their favorite heroines animated and shown on a sexual way known as "Fan Service". It's purpose isn't to tell you a story but to highlight to you it's foundation and aspects alongside to show you their artistry regarding the heroines.
There are also some that aren't or are Ecchi/Harem. The one that do tell stories tend to have short arcs which can easily be adapted to seasons. Rare but they do exist but mostly 12 episode format = summary.
Summary Ex. Rosario+Vampire, Chaos;Head, Maken-Ki
Other Ex. Hellsling Ultimate, High School DxD
Passed Premise Format This version it's quite basic and relies on having specific points, emotions or scenarios depicted solely that require you to go passed the premise on which the anime it's hinging. Meaning that the premise isn't elaborated upon since it's not important to what they wish to present and / or expose to the viewer whose point doesn't lie on the story or it's quality.
Ex. Angel Beats, Erased
2. 24 Episode Format This format tends to be full adaptation to a certain degree if not the entire source depending on it's length and comes as the following.
Trimmed Format This format adapts a portion or the entire source one go by trimming corners leaving just what's crucial on the adaptation.
Ex. Steins;Gate, Gosick, Toradora, Shiki
Dual Cour Format This format is usually the Trimmed Format but split into two for varying purposes such as not enough space regarding TV Slot Booking or To buy time for the future season of which a studio is still working on another project and the anime 2nd cour in question stands in. Sometimes it's unfinished sources and they need to wait.
Ex. Gakusen Toshi Asterisk, Shinmai Maou no Testament and Gate
Knowing all of this I've sure developed a certain disdain towards MAL reviewers, YouTubers and half the anime community for pretending to know what they're talking about and hopefully with this knowledge you will too since I consider them one of the worst kinds of cancers that plague our community.

My Rating Chart goes as follows
Story / Summary / Message = S/M for any anime, I'll apply whichever is applicable at the time of grading an anime. Whether the anime was summarizing, telling a story or delivering a message. To which after I will apply what fits.
Then I add Animation, Sound, Character and Enjoyment. Then I proceed to divide by Criteria which is 5 to which I get an Overall.
Example: 4 + 7 + 7 + 6 + 6 = 30 / 5 = Overall 6. If said overall ends on a .4 or below then it sticks to the nearest 10th. If the overall ends on a .5 then I'll apply the BIAS factor of whether it tickled my fancy or not to which it will result on the nullification of the decimals and leave it on it's current grade or round it to the next 10th. If the Overall ends on a .6 then I'll grade it on the nearest 10th.
That's how I review anime and the chart comes from what the anime it's either trying to portray and/or trying to sell. The quality? It's subjective thus invalid. I try to keep what I call an Spherical View of everything I'm exposed to and judge it for what it is not what I want it to be or think it should be as to pertain bias.
Whenever I see a reviewer trying to judge a Summary Format in comparison towards a Trimmed Format I cringe really hard. So tell me how many of these retards have you seen online whose reviews are complete non-sense and it's basically Word Salad

One of the things that made me take quite a liking to it was how he has to constantly try out different things to "recharge" the girls but he has to understand who they are better to do that so he ecchi scenes play according to the girls' kinks, that he has to find out & expose. It creates this fun scenario of character development & interactions combined with lewd, and the lewd itself is required for the plot, so it's all connected ~ ridiculous & fun, imo, exactly what the show strived for & what I watched it for.
