| overall, it was a pretty good first episode. the second half was intense too, i like it. The mechs action was.....not bad i guess... just okay.... when the MC guy got out from that cube with his naked body and with his long hair, "Tarzan" is the first thing that i thought LOL XD, but his action was really good imo. the story was interesting a little bit....not really got my attention but at least from the second half, it was really interesting imo. i hope P.A Works will make something like Nagi no Asukara sometimes in the future ;_; |

I'm just glad someone decided to fansub it, even if it's not top quality or anything. I wonder if the person/people will keep subbing the rest though... As for the first episode, I liked it :) It started off as your almost average slice of life from PA Works in terms of the light and mundane tone, but then the action started kicking in. The mechs look alright so far, but the mystery has definitely gotten me interested. The naked guy was pretty badass. If it'll continued to be subbed, I'm looking forward to seeing how this unfolds. Also, liked it when Yukina's mother told the teacher that as a teacher, he should encourage her, even if her current grades make it seem like her goal is impossible. |

| Can already smell the engine on fire here. this one'll crash and burn quicker than P.A.'s usual stuff. A lot of the animation for characters walking looked absolutely awful. The one cutscene from the back, thats not even how humans walk. "Merry Christmas from Netflix"... just.... what?... |

| As a lot of people have said, it really does look great. Story wise though I don't really know what to think, I am somewhat interested in whats happening, but I'm along for the ride. Only first episode. Really liking the characters, that one pilot guy with all his lewd one liners in the subs I watched were hilarious xD. The butt naked samurai seems like he will be a interesting and fun character. |

| I watched it using the anon subs and this page There are some strange errors in the subs : missing words, a couple of obviously mistranslated one liners,... the rest of the translation seems accurate. I like the visuals. The CGI doesn't disturb me and the story seems interesting so far. The main girl is pretty and the rich girl is a bitch. xD |

Funny how she argues with the sensei, over Yukina's ridiculous goal, career: Mars. I feared Kuromukuro being dark & edge, with constipated looking girls from pv. But quite relieved Yukina is funny oddball, and animation + atmosphere feels comedy/sol, even though 2nd part looks like a big invasion war. A lot of quality sakuga. The two girls walking/running down stairs & slopes was fun to see with nice backgrounds (PA works version of fan service), while she shows herself as a geography/Mars nerd. Shittalking pilot sounds like fun. PA Work's first Mechs look ok, not Sunrise/8bit level, but maybe Satelight, bit better than Nobunaga the Fool. Nice fan service naked man vs mech. Great sakuga there, lots of butts. So 20m mechs, antigravity mass drivers to explain the mechs. Spiky dino mechs have unusual designs. "The Cube" It's Transformers!! Hilarious how Naked man got censored by Hime's hand & megane's phone. They try so hard. Funny lines. "Nyaaa!" "I'm gonna be eaten!" "Even if shit looks pretty, it's still shit!" PA Works knows what haters are thinking... It's got potential. Netflix already shitting on it. |

| It seems that the angry pilot unintentionally noticed about most people's opinions about Glasslip. XD Still, this show has some good potential. The start of it, along with the mecha, for me, has a vibe of Xenoblade Chronicles X to it, so that already has my attention to it. The animation quality is great and consistently solid, as expected from P.A. Works. The CG so far is also pretty good too. The characters are interesting, especially Yukina. But Ouma has more of my interests though. I wonder why he's calling Yukina and princess? For the story, it's definitely lacking right now, but I'm sure that it'll pick up as we progress further into the show, hoping that it's a 2-cour in length. So for now, it's a good start. =) |

| Hey, they bought me with this first episode. A calm start used to introduce us the female MC, Yukina, and her surroundings, her life, and then, in the middle of a outta nowhere action, we get the male MC, Ouma, a... naked samurai? (girls, contain yourself please). I admit the censor has quite funny jajaja. The mecha battle was good, not spectacular but good. It reminds me a Pacific Rim in a smaller scale. You know, by the need of having two pilots to control one unit. P.A Works again, I like the works they do. While it is true the animation is not a beast, it is very good and pleasant to watch. The CG used was ok, you can spot it easily but it's not like "Ewwww, CG...." I'll keep watching it. PD: Like some user said, there was not a single human casualty... Come on, that's right. There should be casualties. What is this? Heavy Object? |
| This seems all over the place right now. The story's not really appealing to me but hopefully it'll get better... For P.A.'s 15th anniv production it'll be such a pity if it's disappointing. Confusing subs btw. >_> |

| Well this was a completely innocuous opening episode. It wasn't bad, it wasn't good, it wasn't boring, nor was it particularly interesting. But I can't hate it! Most mecha series have kind of slow openings, so this is to be expected. But I trust PA Works, so I look forward to seeing where they go from here. I feel like there is potential at least! |

| Wow the ost is actually pretty good. But I don't like the setting nor do I fancy the characters yet. Visuals are okay. Nothing spectacular to the eye. LOL WTH, I can't take this naked guy nor show seriously now. |
| The beginning is not bad, although it is clear that there are many elements already seen in the past. This déjà vu, however, no way detracts from the episode, which is still watchable as a whole. On purely graphic side, the sets confirm that the PA works has once again become one of the best studies, exceptional contexts in which the characters move, do not hurt the mecha design. |

| P.A. works changes of style but it was very good for a first episode. Almost nothing is explained so far, but the story looks interesting. As usual with P.A. the drawing is beautiful. |
