| The logic is quite weak for why nearly everyone was cockblocking Madarame. If he didn't want to get overly intimate with Angela he could have and ultimately would have spoken for himself. As a college graduate and a working man he can make that decision to have a 1 night stand or what have you for himself. Clearly Hato's interference is absurd, and is driven by his own longing for Mada. Yes the supposed reason is seemingly semi-noble, namely "protecting" Madarame and his years long unrequited love with his friends girlfriend Saki.. But what type of garbage is that? Whether he has liked Saki or not has nothing do with him having a fling with a willing girl. Sue's reasons, or lack thereof, are even more obscure. The weak speculation on this thread was supposed interest from Sue towards Madarame, but thats only slightly more plausible and has just as much evidence (or lack thereof) as Saki miraculously wanting Madarame, namely extremely unlikely. Sure applying logic to anime is largely futile, but this is pretty low. It's one thing to have Madarame being the only character not getting some AND having an unrequited love looming infront of him for years. Its quite another level to then give the dehydrated vagabond in the desert 2 giant melon sized cups of water, and before he can quench his thirst, immediately rob him of it. It's both completely nonsensical and a sick move by the mangaka. Note even if Madarame henceforth was given every female he desired (or more likely some random pairing like Sasahara's sister or whatever), it still wouldn't eradicate the previous debacle. |

| After a short break due to my fault, return to savor an anime that manages to involve me in every episode so wonderful. Narrative that always manages to be fun but also very funny, with twists really unpredictable. I am very pleased with the character of Angela, but also Madarame and Hato, today proved to be the true rulers of the episode. Satisfied with his plot, designs and also by the characters. Animations and scenarios appreciated for their quality. I wonder what he thinks Sue, of Madarame. |

Okay, I see Gargantia, Psycho-Pass, Miku Hatsune, Attack on Titan, the Fire Sisters from Monogatari, what I think is the school uniform to Denpa Onna, Henneko's Tsukiko in a magical girl outfit, what looks like Marisa and Reimu from Touhou, the obvious Madoka cosplays, Madarame naming Dorarara (Durarara), the Infinite Stratos multilayered cross dressing, the Major from Ghost in the Shell: Arise, and a bunch of passing ones I couldn't recognize. Damn. |

| A couple of cosplays not yet mentioned here: 06:11 has a blue version of Girls und Panzer's anko dance costume (center left) 12:47 has Joshiraku's Marii and Kigu (right, the later has her head mostly covered by some guy's arm) Regarding the whole Hato-Angela-Sue confrontation, I think this guy has it right: mangamuscle said: Agreed. I was really hoping something would happen (haven't read the manga). I thought the cockblock was both annoying and suuuuper awkward to watch. Very bizarre of Madarame not standing up for himself. What you both fail to realize is that there are two paths: 1. Madarame has a one night stand with Angela, he keeps loving Saki afterward and now feels like a loser and a cheater. 2. Madarame falls in love with Angela after a one night stand, she goes back to the USA since unlike Sue she has no intentions of living in Japan, Madarame now is even in a worst position since obviously Angela is not in love with him (she just wants a taste of uke) so even if he followed her to the USA, nothing good will come out of it. As you can see, both paths are bad endings, that is why Madarame resists to swallow the posion pill. And I say that having already been in a similar situation to Madarame, and ending up with something not too far from the first "path" mentioned above. Angela isn't wrong to try some moves on him, of course, but she shouldn't be so forceful. Sure, as some people have commented before, Madarame SHOULD be the one to tell Angela that he isn't interested, but WOULD he? The awkward otaku, fisically and emotionally tired, who can't even properly communicate with the girl? I would indeed like to see Madarame hook up with someone and get over Saki, could even be a single night with Angela for all I care, but I don't think this would be the best way for it to happen. Just giving my opinion on a discussion that's probably long dead, anyway, and possibly even already sorted out in "future" episodes/chapters. |

Believe it or not, I have "read" the latest manga chapter and Madarame's romantic relationship is far from sorted out (albeit, supposedly, we are almost there, yeah right). So even if by some kind of magic there is a sequel, do not expect this to be settled (which realistically speaking is what happens when you let lingering feelings take command of your love life). |

It's just that I always keep going back and forth on whether I should "discuss" and "speculate" on stuff that I'm watching/reading late, so I end up writing this disclaimer kind of things, haha. |

| Unless they are truly going for Madarame x Hato then I think Madarame should give Angela a chance. This has been a consistent plot point for awhile now, and really the only issue has been the language barrier. Well, I'm not a fan of Hato hating on one-night stands. But, it seems like we might be, at least, tepidly, aiming for Madarame x Hato. Still, I don't see any reason why Madarame couldn't have spent a night with Angela. Overall, pretty funny episode. |

| Geez, Hato's creepy behavior in this episode is making it hard for me to sympathize with his situation. Being a sex pervert creep who tells real guys they're bottoms and implying he gets his rocks off to the idea of them fucking their male friends, he probably deserved to be bullied a little bit, maybe. Not to mention him trying to police Madarame's love life too when Madarame is a grown ass adult. At least Ogiue had the social awareness to realize those were fantasies she should keep to herself. |
