| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Damn, I like this guy:  I think this episode had the first well...more evident scenes of fan service. Hello Farangis. I'm not sure I like that Alfred girl though. She seems to rely a bit too much on Narsus as if she owes him a life debt. Nice buildup episode though. Silvermask still shows some of his ruthlessness although facing off against Arslan is kinda refreshing to watch with their conflicting ideologies imo. No new OP song. I think maybe next time.. |

| That was somewhat of an intense episode, a little humorous as well. Liking the rivalry between Elam and Alfreed. Didn't expect Silver Mask to confront Arslan in the vicinity and Arslan obliviously scaring him off by a few seconds with that torch. I can't say I mind the recap for next week, at least for now. |

| Bahman that knows about Arslan's background has to die :/ Nothing beats being in home territory! Numbering in the 80k, I wish there were more strongholds of this size, but that would be too easy to gather enough forces then. Saying that Arslan does not have the Pars blood in him. Makes me think Andragoras is sterile. Mentioning of other possible foreign invasions and then they hit. Looking forward to the defensive battle and for some strategies used by each side's generals. |

| Damn, that was an intense episode, especially the last half. Silver Mask is still scared of fire, he must be completely scarred. Bahman sacrificed himself for Arslan cause Vahriz told him to look over Arslan. That was sad since he trained Silver Mask in the younger days. |

| The first half of this episode really had some terribly out-of-place comedy. The show really ought to pick a tone and stick with it from scene to scene. Hermes's fear of fire being used as a suddenly interjected plot point like that is getting slightly ridiculous now.  |

| Alfreed isn't very likable right now. I hope she doesn't join their group. Pretty intense fight between Silver Mask and Arslan's group. His fear of fire seemed pretty cliche though, but whatever. The animation also seemed pretty bad in this episode, hopefully it improves. Recap episode next week :/ I'll probably still watch it though |

| It's amazing how much better this show got after it passed the manga and went to adapting the novel straight instead. |

| Lol'd at Elam's "eh?" right before the OP, and his little facepalms and "Narsus-sama..."s were pretty funny as well. Omg Gieve's little monologue. GIEVE BLUSH! Elam x Alfreed = ship The art at the end is by AOT/SNK's creator? That's pretty cool. |

| Oh no, I'm afraid Alfreed might turn into an annoying character. She was pretty likable in the last episode too, but I don't like how she's all hung up on Narsus. Hopefully, she'll show her awesome side again soon. Gieve's frustration for not being able to be near Farangis all this time was pretty funny. I like how he tried to justify his feelings to Arslan afterwards. Bahman sacrificing himself to protect Arslan was kind of sad, considering he only did it because Vahriz asked him to do so. R.I.P. Decent episode. Recap next week, but I don't really mind. Looking forward to the Sindhuran force's invasion, which'll probably be one intense battle. |

| Really good episode on the whole. I like how they are making Hermes such a competent villain with a genuine cause. He's clearly wrong morally, but by the traditional standards of these types of societies, he would be ok in his actions. I'm getting a bit fed up with Arslan. I don't expect him to be able to fight Silver Mask in a sword-fight, but his weakness shows just in the way he carries himself. He truly feels like a useless character that is only a symbol. I understand that his development will be paced out, but he doesn't feel like he's changed since episode 3. He can't come up with any plans, is utterly defenseless, and it's getting old that nothing about him is changing. Only halfway through the season though, I prefer paced development as opposed to rushing it, I was just hoping for a bit more at this time... |

Drop in animation was glaring, but still an enjoyable episode. Alfreed/Elam were funny as expected, Gieve was also a joy again. Shame neither of them appeared in the fight (unless I somehow missed them), would have liked to see them join in too. Good to know Arslan has some support in Peshwar even if Bahman was hesitant. |

| amazing episode, funny seeing gieve blushing when arslan found him complaining haha. That fight scene. Bahman sacrificing himself to save arslan. Everything about this episode was great. Oh and that ending card . good job isayama. |

| Nice episode. The art at the first minutes was kinda lame, but I found the fight scene freaking cool. Also: recap episode next week? Seriously? :( |

| Great episode!! Alfreed and Elam fighting D How the hell Hermes get passed the castle without any warning? Shame Hermes had to kill his own mentor Bahman. The animation was very weird. It looked like Arslan was getting Ahegao face for some reason XD Can't wait for the next episode! Too much talking this episode so we should get more action this time around! |
| So, does this mean than Arslan isn't Andragoras's son or what? I kind of suspected that but I'm not sure how true it is. I was thinking that Tahamine might have had an affair with someone and he's Arslan's father. Alfreed is so annoying. I don't like how attached she is to Narsus and I definitely don't ship it. However, Elam x Alfreed is not bad. :p |

| Finally Silver Mask and Arslan met each other, the battle was pure EPIC *__* I feel sorry for Gieve tho, he seems a bit down... Me remembers the bath scene *nosebleed* Not to forget the girl named Alfreed, oh well now she's getting on my nerves with the "Narsus is mine" kinda attitude but glad how it made Elam get jealous :'3 Falangies was as gorgeous as ever not to mention how strong and reliable she proved to be ( that was actually shown since the first time she appeared).. |
