| This episode had me screaming Shinoa again, she is so awesome. I don't get the ratings of this episode. I think it was great, it showed how much everyone has developed. The hospital scene was sad at first but then it became heartwarming. Yuu is maturing, too. I think it was a great finale. I am looking forward to the 2nd season. 8/10 |

| And thus we can conclude and end the first season. It was pretty good overall, I'm still interested in knowing more about the cursed gear, and especially the human experiments. I liked the OP and ED, the animation quality was good and bad, depending on whether there should be focus on the battle and the timing. I liked the clothing, the style, both for the humans and for the vampires.. quite interesting. The backgrounds were either great or fantastic, lovely background art overall. More or less fitting music. It was a worthy experience, too bad we have to wait till fall (10/15) before we can follow up on the story. 8/10 |

| A very non-action ending of first season. Hmm, I liked the action, but the plot seems a little bit odd. The series were very meh. The action were good as some parts, but some ep. were pretty pointless. At sometimes it were very slow too, the pacing I mean. Overall, I think it deserve a nice 6. Nothing more, nothing less. [SPOILER] But damn, the cliff hanger in the end. I think that must be Lieutenant Guren. That bastard, so he is a double spy. LOL, well this is gonna be interesting.] Find out in the next ep of....blah, blah, blah :P |

| Who the hell was the guy talking to Ferid? High chance that that was Guren. I do hope that it was him. Traitors everywhere. Decent ending, but it wasn't climatic as I expected. Still, there is a confirmed second season. I hope that will be much better. A solid 7/10. |

Agreed. it was typical of Sawano, but nothing that really stands out or really memorable. Nice setup for the second season. hope they resolve some of the plotholes and improve the damn animation as the fight scenes were REALLY lackluster 7/10 for me |

| Another frustrating slow episode with lots of still frames. All this could be done in 10 minutes really. As about the anime in general. Let's just say that by the end i felt i was watching a low budget gay version of Twilight. | I'm impressed, this ending was pretty good. With a lot of new plot and a perfect Shinoa, so a great episode. No useless fight in this one, just a solid build up for the next season with the two clans. This anime was average due to his lack of animation and development of the characters, thanks to Shinoa to be here. But I really liked this end, therefore his score will increase a little. Now I'm interested to watch the next season, good job :). |

| A calm reflection episode after an intense last few episodes. Not a bad way to end it. I enjoyed the jazz track at the end, very soothing as well as mysterious. For the show overall, it wasn't too bad. I think it has potential. I feel like the ending really laid down the track work for an intriguing and intense second season where a lot more will happen. Overall 7/10 |
| Oh, I thought this will be 2 cour (24 eps)? Oh well, just few months of wait anyway. Pretty fitting ending, nothing to say about that. Shinoa developed a lot, isn't she? She's totally different than her in the earlier episodes.. Overall? Weird anime. I LOVE the first episode a LOT. Then, it goes downhill with generic school settings, overused shounen cliches, awkward action scenes, awkward character interactions, and more obvious pseudo-clone of AOT. Still enjoy it though. Probably gonna watch the 2nd season, as I curious of what is Owari no Seraph the vampires are talking about. (7/10) for now. I want to see more Mika! |

| Okay I don't care about what everyone say, this anime was shit, slow, too sentimental... but why did I love it soooo much? It was so bad but yet so good. xD Seriously... I hate vampire stories, I hate every vampire film and anime I freaking hate vampires (especially since Twilight)... and yet ALMOST a new favourite anime but I can't tell why. The character design was pretty amazing tho, and great seiyuus. Not to mention the OST, the OP and the ED. Perfection *-* There were 3 characters I loved from the bottom of my heart: Ferid, Guren and Shinoa. And I kinda enjoyed hella gay Mika too. xDD I'm really looking forward to the new season. I hope it will be a lot better than the first xDDD 9/10 (<--- I don't knoooooow why, it obviously doesn't deserve it... I give up I guess this anime brainwashed me or something xD) |

| That was totally a boring ending. Wouldn't you think they would try to make the last episode of a season more interesting so people would want to actually come back for season 2? Now it wasn't all horrible due to that save at the end before the credits. Makes me wonder who that was causes it definitely wasn't Mika. Maybe that older girl from their family? Interesting... |

| Decent ending. I know a lot of people are saying that they wished this season wasn't more like a teaser to the meat happening in the 2nd cour, but it cant really be helped. It took all of that time in the manga to build everything up too. It was like 95% faithful to the manga so it cant be helped. I'm interested to see the pacing next season. Because Wit REALLY didn't seem like they wanted the anime to outpace the manga a tiny bit like AoT did...but at the same time, the current chaps of the manga are in the middle of a big fight. No spoilers, but if they don't end the second season before or after the fight, and just try to like cliffhanger it there its going to be fucking awkward. As for all of the people thinking that Ferid was talking to Guren at the end there...they haven't actually revealed it yet. And all of the manga readers basically thought the same thing at first too. While nothing has been confirmed, it most likely is NOT Guren. Just like how people complained about Kirito being OP on SAO, if you look at it, he's just OP at playing videogames and good with programing, nothing else... is there such a reason to hate him? What usually happens is that people dislike something and end up in a spiral of rage when they meet up with other people who fire them up/disregard their opinion. For Owari, I don't see the problem with them going to school. There is so much else that bothers me though but I don't feel like writing it all down. I just give you an example instead: The characters aren't characters. They have no personality to them, they aren't alive. Each character feels like a walking tally sheet with a bunch of tropes on it, loosely matched together. It's like the author went to a beginners course and they had to write down characteristics and he just made the characters using those. Then they added pretty much the same sad backround story for each character to try to make the viewer care for them. The sad thing about this is: How is the author recognised as a professional? I had school mates writing way better shit than this without any kind of further education. |
