| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Not too shabby but damn, that looked painful at the beginning there. It was nice to see the spinoff being adapted. I read the manga and it has a good pacing. In this episode, I thought the adventurous tone made the episode flow well. It was nice seeing Yunan play his roles too. Looks like a cliffhanger ending but this should be fun to clear some dungeons. |

| He's cool, but such a womanizer since young. He likes to help out. Sugita-san's character came to recruit him for dungeon solving, and Ishida-san's character told him to be his own king. His mother, who is sick for long, letting him go, too. I cannot wait for next ep., the actual ep. for solving the dungeon. |

Agreed, though I felt it was kind of rushed near the end. Still good to see it animated though. I was smiling when Sin kicked those bandits behinds and began his oh so familiar womanizing... Ah, young Sin.. lol. I wonder how the next episode will be, no doubt interesting to see Baal and the creatures in his dungeon, with it's flow. I also kind of hope young Ja'far makes an appearance but I might be over shooting that. So, now the wait for August begins. |

| Sin is awesome. Nice to see Yunan again :D That's rushed... a little bit more than 7 chapters adapted (until ch. 8, page 10). EDIT: I take it back. They skipped the first 4 manga chapters with Sinbad as a 3 year old child o.o Horrible adaption. |

| All the differences in style with the new studio are really noticeable to me x.x They're not particularly bad or anything just different since we're already used to A1's. Overall, this was fine, Sinbad being Sinbad. Waiting for the next installment. |

| Sinbad the miracle child! Yunan liking small dark places xD Conscription to conquer the dungeon. In front of a small army, he declared that he would conquer the dungeon. Sinbad could have an entire series of his own, two episodes just won't cut it :O |

| Oh my, am I the only person that chose "disliked" in the poll? And I was thinking of "hate it". Is it because I'm reading manga since one-shot came out? Cause damn, I really disliked this OVA ep. Why did they cut out this big amount of cool scenes? Thanks to that everyone's... Plain. D: And wtf? Why is Sin like a freakin ninja at the beginning? That made me laugh a little bit to be honest xD And his flashy colours are ridiculous. It works in Magi cuz everyone's colorful like a rainbow. But here, where everyone's so gray... It looks pretty bad ;/ Gives you impression like - who cares my mom's dying and we're poor I'm gonna buy some expensive dreamy clothes. Cuz I'm the main character. I also don't like the fact is starts at chapter 5. Man, soooo many things I disliked bout this OVA, I feel like a hater now... I thought of not watching it further, but I see it's gonna have only 2 eps. So okay. I'll do it. Just to hear Sugita Tomokazu. :p SOOOO... To people that haven't read manga - GO READ MANGA! |

| Wow I like the animation/art by this studio. Felt like it was way better than A-1's. Not only that, but the music was great too, from beginning to end, it was very fitting and felt intense and exciting. They did cut out stuff, but at the same, it didn't feel too rushed, if that makes any sense. I also enjoyed hearing Sugita Tomokazu and Kayano Ai :) |
| So that's Yunan's real personality... Pretty nice. I like this studio more, if only they didn't rush the plot... (as said by the manga readers) But hey. It's Magi. Expect things to rush, even if it is being done by a different studio... Cool music at end. |

| Sinbad is my fav Magi character. This ep didn't have much action but we learned a lot about Sinbad before he becomes Metal Vessel user. Looking forward to 2nd ep so (Sin)bad i can't damn w8. Damn Yunan is so, sooo awesome. Those OVA are gold. 5/5 |

| Manga readers should never watch Anime because you all are disappointed 99% of the time and bash the hell out of it. This concept goes for hollywood films as well, especially Marvel movies. You can only fit so much in the time they are allocated. Would think this is common sense but go figure. |

| Loved the ending theme. And thankfully Ono Daisuke didn't use the same voice as he does for adult Sin, b/c a 12 year old with that manly voice wouldn't have felt right. |

In manga, this line isn't really that flashy and important. He said it to that kid, right after beating up those guys. And it has rather "meh" undertone for me. So it's not that "corny" xD Also - he wasn't flying like a freakin ninja when fighting those robbers. He simply kicked their chief's stomach, then somehow was able to beat up the rest. But it's not showed how he did it. And it looks better like that imho. But like I said earlier - this OVA really sucks. |

I still like how Sinbad makes his presence known to those around him though. Really glad to see some familiar characters like Yunan and Drakon as well. Interesting storytelling and I think the episode really goes to show the ups and downs of Sinbad's life. Oh and Serendine made an appearance too :D nice.  |
