I was thinking about anthropology too. My top options were psychology, sociology, anthropology, and political science.

I looked it up more (something I should have done earlier) and I just realized it wasn't as interesting as I thought.

Law huh? My mother study Law. For a big part of high school I wanted to study Law too but then I changed my mind. Political views are indeed very interesting to study!

I know, I thought anime life might ruin my university life but I just realized... it's university life that's ruining my anime life

Higurashi and Ga-Rei 0 are both amazing, IDK about Princess Tutu because I haven't watched it yet but it has a pretty high rating :D

Well, it's very hard to find an anime like Madoka beause Madoka is a genre deconstruction (it took the "magical girl" theme and gave it a dark and gruesome spin) so I really don't know if there's any anime like Madoka.

They say "Princess Tutu" is pretty dark for a "magical girl" anime but I haven't seen it, and I also doubt it is, since its genres inlude Comedy and Romance.

However, if you liked the theme of in Madoka, you should definitely try Higurashi.

If you liked the friendship theme of Madoka I recommend G-Rei: Zero, it's about friendship, it has to do with people whose job is to kill monsters (like in Madoka their job is to kill witches) and it's dark.

You'll have to wait awhile since it's ongoing. If I may though, the manga was fantastic, so if you liked the adaption you should love the manga. Sadly the adaption left out many details that were tremendous in the manga.

I saw your forum pic of Akane and was interested to see what you liked. Then when I get to your profile I see gifs that totally distracted me lol.

I'm surprised to see someone who actually liked Aku no Hana. I didn't quite like how they did the show, but I was so thrilled by the fact that they even green lit that I would have watched it regardless.

Ah, well for someone who's main language is not English, you speak it, or rather communicate with it quite well! Portugese? I took several years of Spanish, but I don't think that will help.
