| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- "Iron Wall of the Jamru Fin" The Mega Rider makes its return in this episode.... booo! I knew Beecha being captain was insane and was gonna cause problems. I don't knows who is a worse commander, him or Emary. The Newtype stuff is really getting out of hand. Since when was Leina such a powerful Newtype that she could connect w/ ppl in space from Earth!? A lot of things bugged me about this ep. |

| I think the newtype thing isn't out of hand, I think this amount was used in Zeta too, and I'm not bothered by it at all. Yeah, I also don't know who is the worse commander, but I have a personal grudge against Emary~ Trying to seduce Bright, really.... I hope Sayla'll come back sometime~ |

| I don't mind the newtype thing "getting out of hand", but I do rather dislike how they're doing it. It's like they're trying to make it as cheesy as possible. I'd rather not have disembodied cheerleaders, thank you very much. |

| Beecha...as captain...of a ship manned entirely by children with no sense of responsibility or respect for commanding officers...and Bright is totally okay with this? The Earth episodes were pretty decent, especially after Kamille showed up, but then they had to go and do this. Also, what the hell happened to Emary? I don't recall her being this incompetent earlier in the series. |

| To their credit at least they're showing us how incompetent they all are without adults around. And the newtype thing is going a little overboard. But in the opening they imply that it's evolving, so I guess it also makes sense it gets more powerful in the hands of a new generation or something. |
| Oh god Beecha as captain is priceless That Marsmellow-sama evil laugh though.. I guess Leina is alive after all. I'm glad. :) I don't mind newtype stuff at all. Makes things more interesting imo. |

| uh oh, the past 2 episodes are showing a bad dip in quality, come on zz dont do this to me you were improving so much before it, your so close to the end this is your chance to go full force dont you dare quit on me now. also please let emary die in the coming battle, shes one of the most unlikable female characters in the series so far with a 1 track goal of trying make bright cheat on his wife despite knowing completely about his kids and wife |

| I don't know who's worse as a captain, Beecha or Emaly. But Emaly is a freaking adult and is still as incompetent as Beecha. Anyway both a fucking awful. I like this new female neo-zeon fighter, Illya or something? Killing her own lieutenant was badass. Just don't make her annoying as almost every gundam female character so far please. |

| Great episode! Lol Bright is too attached to Emaly. Wtf i would Bright slap Emaly for revealing your location to the enemy like that. It also didn't make sense on how Nahel Argama went ahead La Vien Rose, only to come back one episode after. Sure they already scouted Side 3, but they could have at least waited a few more moments instead of leaving like that. At least Bright now believes these children can do it on their own. Illia just killed commander like that! I thought Beecha and crew we're done for, but their lucky they survived this. Wtf Beecha stop acting like a brat and go to the fucking machine now. And he sucks at piloting Hyaku Shiki. If this was Char he would go unscathed. Judau is now showing his true Newtype skills, despite being much more OP than Kamille and Amuro combined. I thought Judau is going crazy, but it seems he believes Leina is alive. How the hell was she able to communicate from earth to space like that :O Lots of amazing tactics shown. Mashymre and his laugh, just as annoying as Paptimus from Zeta which coincidentally they have the same hair color :X Can't wait for the next episode! |

| Reaching the last course of ZZ, I wasn't expecting a trio to show up now. Terrible episode: - character's regression to assure a longer and more risky battle. I thought the captain promotion was a way to reward and illustrate Beecha's recent progression but they dismissed it to raise the stakes of the battle -_- And what about Judau and the others, were their piloting skills reduced too? - bad commanding contest between Beecha and Emaly - simply Emaly (she really annoys me) - Mashymre is so different (since last episode) - apart from the scouting, it felt useless: this could have been avoided without the premature take-off in the last episode. 1/5 I thought Judau was finally feeling some emotional consequence from Leina and Ple's deaths but of course he wasn't. Too bad, I was actually interested. On the other hand, the telepathy perimeter of Leina is incredible, I suppose they share their higher potential as siblings. What in the fuck was that all about? He was about to blow up Emary's ship and Illia shoots down the squad leader because.. to motivate a trio that doesn't need anymore motivation? Really terrible episode as the campy bullshit that thankfully has been missing the last 20 episodes or so came back. With Beecha, I'm not too upset about this, as I think Bright was proving a point that a real Captain needs to be in charge. Please, I hope the next episode gets back on track.. |
| And here I thought that dumb choice(s) was replaced in this show by comedy but the dumb decision(s) return to make an homage to Z, the prequel had a lot of dumb decisions by top level personnel specially in the last chapters those were really frustrating to watch. Talking about frustrating to watch was Emary erratic decisions & Iria were mind-blowing, I didn’t mention Beecha shenanigans because he is a doo·fus so it was expected for him. | Yeah, Beecha isn't exactly the best acting captain. Leina's newtype powers are very strong to be able to reach outside of Earth, but she is Judau's sister after all. |

| Now Neo Zeon has Tie-fighter Zakus? o_o This episode felt pretty Zeta-ish, lots of new throwaway enemies that dislike each other, many new models, overall useless battle, etc. Plus Judau suddenly started acting as if he never thought that Leina died (I think he "sensed" her only later during the battle) |

| I really hate Emaly. STOP CRUSHING ON A MARRIED MAN! Also, who on earth thought she should be made captain of anything? Holy crap. Also, on the same subject, the pilot guy of the Argama had seniority to Beecha (had been around longer) and was definitely more prepared for the job. He should've been captain, but alas. |
| I don't know why but I personally always loved the really cheesy newtype stuff ever since the original MSG. I like how weird it is, so it didin't bother me. I like the message Bright left for them all, and although before I was able to handle Beecha, he was finally reaching a point of annoying me in this episode. Although I did really like when him and Judau teamed up near the end of the episode. The big battle in this episode felt pretty intense, as we approach closer to Side 3. I'm enjoying things ramping up like this towards the final fight. Illia has quickly grown on me as a cool villain, despite her being fairly new. Emaly was pretty annoying and almost caused the death of a bunch of people with that flare stunt. It's interesting to see both sides bickering with eachother as well. |

| Emary sucks and I hate her. I'm really glad the newtype stuff is becoming more front and center. Judau seems like the first main character to absolutely accept this part of himself, I mean Kamille did in the end but even then it was nothing to this extent minus his appearnce in ZZ. I love you Beecha but it is hard to watch you bicker as captain with your front crewmates.... but I know the point is probably to show he's young and inexperienced. |

| I understand why Bright might be feeling useless among all those newtype kinds and why he'd just want to be done with all the shit, but this is absurd. Why wasn't he ordered back to captain the ship, just recently people were bitching about the kids running around and when they left off by themselves everyone just accepted it as if nothing could be done? Lol. If that message could be delivered surely Bright could have returned too. His words honestly sounded like major trolling. Defeat Neo Zeon or else! |
