I find Haruka's attitude to be a bit more aggressive. I think some of his friends are trying to understand him and his free style of swimming. The drama between Sosuke and Rin was quite something though when their ideologies clash. |

| lol @ strawberry flavor of protein. Relay time. Miyata-san's character got his chance to do relay with red hair guy away from his roommate. It's like they lost to red hair guy's team, but still got to final. The time for solo even couldn't win against them. Both main guy and red hair guy got scouted, but main guy not interested. The argument seemed not big deal, just old friend of red hair guy couldn't find the answer yet. Though that dark expression by him at the end when Gou saw him... Nice encouragement words by Rei. lol @ the preview with those English. |

| God... I have many expectations for what happens in this show, but can I at least PRAY TO GOD that Gou follows Sousuke and someone can PLEASE open this guy up?! What better person to do it that Gou, who went to elementary and middle school with him, AND is Rin's sister! I feel she would understand and be able to help him (and I freaken just want her to get more screen time!) Its making me really frustrated on how shelled Sousuke is with his feelings so can I PRAYYY he can have a heart to heart with Gou?!??????? But that preview.... //sigh ....possible filler episode???? Is it really the time and place to introduce a new character?? ); We still haven't even completely fixed Makoto's "jealously" towards Haru I feel ; __ ; |

| Well, I think it was quite obvious that Iwatobi team was gonna lose that relay. Also, nice drama between Rin and Sousuke. Really liked the soundtrack in that part and their respective voice actor performances in that scene were great. |

| Nice drama between Rin and Sousuke, I wish there'd develop Sousuke's character a bit more because i don't really like him as a character yet. Nagisa's addiction to strawberry protein powder was hilarious. Good episode. |

| it was tough for rin to cut uozumi from the relay team when momotaro showed better results because rin knows exactly how it feels to be cut out of the relay team since he was in uozumi's shoes last season. the fact that he made that decision made me gain lots of respect for him. also, i think haru's about to make some sort of decision especially since it seems that rei's words have affected him. i'm curious as to what's going on with sousuke. it seems serious. the way he was breathing during the relay was kind of scary |

| Sousuke is getting on my nerves. It seems like he's a little butthurt that Rin is better friends with Haru. He needs to grow up. Aside from that, great episode! It was sad to see them lose, but I know they'll make a comeback. |

| It'd be nice if he opens up to Gou or she finds out, but most likely what'll happen is she'll end up telling the guys and they will end up doing something so we can get more intimate boy moments. Is it really needed to introduce a new character at this point? Dunno how I feel about that. Overall a decent episode. The whole talk about being free makes me think of salarymen in Japan, who seem to be anything but free. |
| Nice episode, I liked the cute interaction between Mikoshiba and Nitori :) I had a pretty good feeling they were gonna lose, but still was sad about it. Happy to see Haru take an interest in being on the team, rather than just swimming free alone. Rin doing pull-ups....<3 That ending preview though, "Kiss me, kiss me, kiss me, perfect body, perfect body" lol. |

| Nagisa, you'll end up with cavities if you eat so much sugar ;~; All in all I'd say this episode was good, though I found the next episode preview the funniest part of the whole thing. |
| Rei and Makoto's face while Nagisa continues to put strawberry favor protein powder on his meal. XD Ai lucked out. Though Sousuke was a bit rude, his advising words were great. Intense relay match. Iwatobi lost, but loved the efforts they put in. I kinda expected Haru to catch up to Rin. Still, good work! Sousuke still hasn't found his answer even after racing with Rin. He should take it easy. Good episode. That PV though.. XD |

| ahh so many feels in this episode! I really hope Haru does become more interested in the scouts. It's like Rei said, you can still be Free and be a swimmer or what not - what matters is having a Free Heart! The Ending though! Kiss me was a bit awkward but then they just randomly add Perfect Body and I couldn't stop laughing! Edit; I get the feeling Sousuke went there to have another confrontation with Haru and I also get the feeling that he could be losing his spot at his university (he just seemed generally annoyed when Rin brought it up) |
| The episode was pretty good imo. A bit of turmoil with Rin as he had to chose who to put in the relay knowing full well how it felt after having been taken out of it last year. There's still 6 episodes left and I'm excited and also nervous to see how it will play out Also that preview (I was hoping that rin would speak english just as good as Kagami from KNB did though...) |

| nice episode I felt really bad for Ai, but I'm sure that he will be in the team eventually. also cute interaction with Momotarou. Nagisa with his strawberry obsession in hilarious. rei talking to Haruka was awesome too, that megane says the best things:) that 'fight' between Rin and Sousuke was interesting. (omg when Sousuke pulled Rin close :0, and I don't even ship them haha) I laughed so hard at that preview, kiss me, kiss me, perfect body haha |

The Iwatobi team is really like a family. They even sit down to eat together at the same table! It really shows how close their relationships are with each other, but then, as a sense of foreboding, I could also see how even a minor change in those relationships could disrupt the formation of the entire team. I noted that it was really wonderful to see the different aspects of some of the characters' personalities- it's especially meaningful that Rei is so determined to get better- not only applying to himself, but also to the team. All of them share that determination, that drive to win. In some sense, it might be a validation of their own efforts. Even Haru, who we usually see focused on himself and not caring about anything but getting to swim, takes initiative for the purpose of helping the team, when he creates that practice agenda. I still have a dislike of Sousuke, though I can understand where he's coming from. He comes off as really rude, but I think he's probably jealous, since Rin found himself a new 'family' and a new group of friends while Sousuke wasn't with him, and it's probably difficult for him to acknowledge that Rin was able to move on. That's probably the reason for his cold attitude and supercilious demeanor towards the other team members, such as Nitori. However, it is implied that he wants the best for his team. I mean, if even Makoto could become jealous of Haru's friendship with Rin, with someone like Sousuke, the jealousy could be magnified to much larger amounts. But Sousuke, who are you, really? He's such a mysterious character. I don't understand his motives; sometimes he seems determined to swim and other times it seems like he hates swimming; is he a good friend to Rin or not? Why is he scared to swim, when it's been proven he's good? Shouldn't the scouting from universities bolster his confidence? Or is there something else he's afraid of? Speaking of Mako-chan, I noticed some resemblance with his situation and how Nitori expressed his despair at probably not being able to follow Rin in the future, even though he wanted to try his best to do so. The fact that he wasn't on the Samezuka relay probably made the blow that much more severe, because Nitori now knows that he won't be able to swim at the level of Rin, and he might not be able to ever swim on a relay team with him ever again, after this year. I found it interesting that Makoto didn't blame himself for the relay loss, because I really expected that he would. However, the relay scene was certainly exciting! It'll be great to see the two teams swim together at regionals once again. I recognize that pink-haired [ incredibly hot why is this anime character so attractive i can't even yes kiss me plz- i'm jk haha ] guy from the covers of the novels! I wonder what stroke he swims, since I didn't read the High Speed! books myself. Also, why was it mentioned that Makoto was saying it? Hmmm c; But seriously, Kisumi, stop it you're gorgeous let's just hope you have an alright personality Apparently he played basketball, and was really popular with the girls, when he attended Iwatobi Junior High. |

| The preview for the next episode killed my ovaries. I mean we had SousRin all over the place and then comes the preview. Thanks KyoAni, this show will be the death of me. |

| The Sousuke and Rin scenes this season are the most entertaining. They should have been the main MC's for this season. The other four are getting too repetitive. |

| Good episode as usual. Only complaint is that it was too angsty. I wish we got to know what he was thinking instead of just seeing him pissed off most of the time. I feel bad for Makoto and Nitori, who both suffer the best-friend-thats-not-good-enough syndrome. I know how they feel. Oh I loved Rei's dialogue. Not only is is fabulous but what he says is pretty touching as well. KISS ME PERFECT BODY lmao |
