Same with the lewd outfits: One of the students went borderline yandere for a moment there too. But yeah, I thought the episode was pretty amusing. | "Why do your teeth squeak when you eat spinach?" Kind of easy to see why Yayoi doesn't like Miou Poor Yayoi can't win (she seemed to be genuinely enjoying the cosplay at first, though). Miou keeps helping her, no matter what she does. And then rumours start spreading that they're in love? Love Urara's reactions to the 'tsundere'. That plantpot as a hiding place was funny too. And she seemed genuinely surprised that she was 'caught out'. Killed by falling off a chair with a dodgy back to it? Well, she avoided a repeat of the events of the film, at least. |

| Awww, no swimsuit episode :( Yakuza Momoka getting betrayed by the bogus chair was a good twist. The laughter in this show makes me fear that i'll fall off my chair from laughter. |

| As always a great laugh with this series. I love all of the characters. I thought Momoka was going to freak the kaichou out more than that. Like go crazy on her or something. But i Like how everyone assumed that the Kaichou and Miou was a couple. I would love to see more of them from now on. That ending was hilarious. Love Momoka and her uniqueness. |

| HAHA, I just laughed at the Yakuza segment, and Momoka falling down at the end XD. Yayoi just can't win when she is defeated by Miou, and becoming a tsundere at the end XD. |
| Hilarious as usual XD What's with the comedy this series has XD Soo good :D Yayoi aiming for the members when she doesn't know they're just as dangerous as Miou was lol and the way Miou kept saving her after she got owned by them all hehehe XD "There's nothing a masochist hates more than a phony sadist" XD Best Quote ever LOL Yayoi reaching enlightenment was hilarious XD And everyone Misinterpreting her to be a tsundere was pure lol XD The yakuza part was priceless HAHAHA All that over a chair XD And as usual, Momoka with her mercilessness was just sooo lololol XD Even killing Urara saying I won't die like that movie Only to sit on a broken chair and die from falling on a rock ROFL |

| President Yayoi's revenge on Miou was a hilarious adventure! All the plans completely backfired! First one with the phony act of sadist on Urara failed right away and she ended up being the one saying sorry. XD . Miou to the rescue! Cosplay attempt on Kayo led her to an embarrassing failure too! Again, Miou tries to cover for her. Maya's extreme modesty to Yayoi's exaggerations caused herself stress related health issue. Miou carried her to the hospital there as well! Getting close to Momoka didn't do any good either. In return, she's sent to the hospital again. XD Lastly, copying that old woman from the cafeteria turned herself into one, although she did succeed in parrying Miou a little. Lol'd at how she became Buddha and achieved enlightenment! XD Urara's "Nice Tsundere" thumbs up to a red Yayoi was hilarious! Poor Yayoi now is rumored to be in relationship with Miou. XD Second segment with Yakuza battle over the possession of the chair was pretty fun too! Everyone looked so epic with their Yakuza demeanor! Momoka ended up winning the gunfight but got taken down by the very chair she was fighting over! Such a suiting ending. XD Hilarious episode! Noticed how Maya always gets taken down first. Poor her.. |

| All problems can be solved with money.... or violence. Sabagebu!, teaching you valuable life lessons since 6/6/14. This anime makes me laugh so much. Poor Prez-chan can't hold a candle to the fabulous Miou (or to Momoka's sadism... Urara ain't got no time for that inferiour sadism). The Yakuza film bit was great. Just when I thought Momoka couldn't stoop any lower she just casually shoots everyone :-P and Momoka getting betrayed by the chair at the end was hilarious XD. 5/5 again. |

| very funny xD, like always the last sections is gun matches (like how they change the theme each episode like this one of Yakuza ones).... never trust anything that the sensei bring, mostly are mortal XD .......the council president's misadventures are very funny x3 |
| Funny episode :) Momoka's such a troll in this series. I'd love to see more protagonists like her in anime... a character that just screws with how the plot is supposed to be played out. We got to see more of the cosplayer and the gravure model this episode just because they don't have much presence so that's good. |

| Probably weakest episode yet. The humor was really a hit and miss for me this time around. The yakuza part was a bit better but still felt a bit underwhelming |

| For those who enjoyed the yakuza battle, consider watching School Rumble season two, episodes 2-3. It's more of a gang fight than a free for all with the same concepts of fake battle, betrayal and a lot of humor. The beginning felt a lot like Yuru Yuri, with the student council president trying to take down the club but is obviously tsun for the club president. Still enjoyed it though, and loved the Yakuza part. |

That's cute, especially since the Prez is tsundere. x3 Anyways, the first half was cute and funny, while the second half was bad ass! Yakuza fights FTW! It looked really cool, betrayals everywhere~! xD And that chair.....LOL! Poor Momoka....getting "killed" by that rock. :P |

| Fu*k I couldn't stop laughing when the president turned into an old hag too. Also that "nice tsundere moment" XD her love meter for Miou is off the chart! She's definitely a great addition to the cast. Yakuza segment was awesome, their bloody imagination never gets old. I didn't expect Momoka to die by falling from the chair lol.. |

| The Student Council President took up over half of the show. It was fun to watch, specially when Miou and co was completely oblivious to her hate, Momoka was the only one that came awfully close to figuring out the SC Prez's plan. The outcome was epic too. Then that Yakuza skit, holy shit I loved the acting and the music, it was such a damn classic 80's Japanese movie moment! Lovin' it! |

In fact, every week, a few days before the episode airs, the official website provides a brief summary (in Japanese) of what the episode will be about: http://sabagebu.com/story.html What it said last week (for the second half of Episode 6) was: 呆れるほど仁義なき戦い ヤクザ映画に感化されたサバゲ部が、組長の座を巡って、仁義なき戦い を開始!? 血で血を洗う抗争の末、その座を手にするのは――。 From this, I understood that the club members got inspired after watching a Yakuza movie, but I didn't understand what 仁義なき戦い meant. So I had no idea that it was the title of that famous 1973 Yakuza movie. I had been hoping that somebody here on this thread would be able to tell us specifically what all of the references were to. Thanks again. I found it quite a challenge to locate the movie by searching for the title, since there were actually a total of eight movies made by the same director during that period which all include the phrase 仁義なき戦い in the title. 仁義なき戦い was just the first in the series. |
| Oh my gosh ... the student president's revenge plan didn't work out very well did it? Everything backfired ... then she turned into an old cafeteria woman and everyone thought she and Miou were a couple! XD So much fangirling happening ... ahaha :P I definitely thought there was gonna be something wrong with that chair from the beginning ... I mean, Sakura-sensei DID buy it, after all :P Kayo betraying Maya, except then she got taken out too ... man, Momoka's ruthless isn't she? Too bad it didn't work out for her in the end XD Preview's poking fun at the "swimsuit episode" all the animes do ... I wonder if it's gonna do it anyway though ;O |
| Here are some still images from the 12-minute OVA that comes with BD Volume 1. http://sabagebu.com/images/goods/ova01_img.png They are selling Blu-rays, but they are not selling DVDs. This is the first time that I have seen BDs being sold without DVDs also being an option. However, for a very long time the sales of anime DVDs have been negligible compared to BD sales. So I guess it no longer makes business sense to sell DVDs. |
