So I guess William also has some academic competition. Dat drama. He has some interesting powers too..framing William for cheating. I'm not too surprised though. Episode was okay I guess. Never underestimate Dantalian! I think Michael made a big mistake there. |

| So HiroC's character is the one who has one wing of FukuJun's character to instruct him to capture realist guy. So he's among the top with realist guy when he's human form. He also used his power to set him into cunning the test. lol @ Kakkii's character, though he believes in him. Reveal of an angel That pendant is really useful? Did I hear correctly? Solomon was originally from the heaven and got expelled? I heard something like someone got expelled by the great angel voiced by HiroC. New character... demon? |

| Man, Kamiya Hiroshi voicing Michael strangely reminds me of Izaya lol. The two characters are kind of alike, except I don't like Michael. | Lately angels are viewed as assholes, what's up with that I wonder? Yondemasu yo Azazel-san is particularly hard on them. Even though I usually don't care much about religion in entertainment I am little pissed off. I know most of you guys are on Williams' case for not accepting the demons, but I feel that they should let the poor guy alone and stop dragging him into their problems. |
| I hate it when they make the ones who are supposed to b the good guys bad, just because he is friends with the demons. Just by tipping over the story plot like that to make it 'different', this is really weak... i can understand if both angels and demons are good, fighting for their own justice so that it'll be harder for William to choose a side and thus uses his intellect (which he so proudly boasts about so many times). Right now, the only thing pulling him there is Kevin -.-|| |

| Nah, I'm done. I've had enough. All the characters are twats and I'm not a fan of the whole angels are bad guys thing. What is with anime lately and portraying angels as douche bags. It's like a new cliche of some kind. Oh well. It's not my cup of tea so I'm dropping this. |
| Angels have been generally portrayed as bad guys for years. Not just in anime but tonnes of other media as well -_-. Michael is actually one of my favourite characters. I was looking forward to this ep XD. |

| kind of Ridiculous someone that supposed to be the strongest angel (stronger even than Lucifer) like Michael have been beaten by a demon of the class of Dantanlion, it's so annoying how hes so powerful.. This give me desire to drop the show. Hope the next episodes revels that Dantanlion has lucifer powers or something like that, or thats makes no sense. Although i liked the introduce of Michael and his personality as well. |
| Isaac still drives me crazy as each episode goes on. I can't handle his lack of courage, adventure, and above all his fear and voice. I still fawn over Dantalion.. There needs to be OVA were there is legitimate fanservice between the two. I would like that very much. At this point in the anime, I'd like either Dantalion to be crowned leader or if possible William to give it to himself. LOL. When Cecil got beat it just made me hate Micheal even more. There's 3 reasons why Dantalion defeated Michael so easily. 1. Michael was possessing a human's body (Elliot Eden) so it limited him 2. Dantalion is special so his strength is not normal for a nephilim of his rank, in this episode Michael already said that Dantalion made a contract with Lucifer. 3. Michael is dying, he needs to rest but he doesn't because he's obsessed with killing Lucifer even if it costs him his life Things that weren't in the anime: - Michael telling Kevin that he doesn't care about demons or the Elector, he just wants to take down Lucifer - William saying that he gets excellent scores to go to Oxbridge, graduate from university with top marks and become the youngest prime minister - When William goes to the library and encounters Elliot/Michael, Michael is reading a Chinese book. He can understand Chinese because he went to China with his uncle who was working there and tells William that one should broaden their horizons. - Later William and Michael keep talking after the library and Michael says that his uncle is a diplomat who goes to many places like India. He confesses that he wants to become the Head Boy, graduate with top marks and go to Oxbridge in order to become the youngest prime minister. William is surprised that they share the same dream. After that he says the line that the one on top should be competent - When Michael asks him about the most important thing to him, besides Kevin, Mycroft Swallow and Isaac we can see his uncle Barton too. In the anime he thinks of Dantalion and Sytry but in the manga he just remembers Dantalion going berserk from the previous episodes and shivers - In the manga Michael didn't change with magic the cheats. The students themselves wrote on William's desk. - There is a flashback of kid Sytry (still being an angel) with a female angel and then him falling into Baalberith's hands - When Kevin interrupts William and Michael's conversation, Michael says in latin to Kevin "quem di diligunt adulescens moritur" meaning "he whom the Gods love dies young" - When Isaac screams that Elliot is Michael, William asks if he's Michael Pupin (a scientist) and starts fanboying while Sytry and Isaac no clue about who he's talking about. - Instead of ecstasy, the manga used the term "ascend to Heaven". - Michael asks Sytry that he can send him to Heaven too. That if Sytry helps Michael to send William to Heaven, Michael will let Sytry meet "her" since Sytry was sent to Hell involuntarily. - Kevin tells Dantalion that he should stop messing with Michael, that any high-ranking angel can make William ascend to Heaven even if it's not an Archangel. - Michael goes because the human body he's possessing reached its limit. Before disappearing he says to William that he will return. - William to prove his innocence starts talking in Latin and also demonstrates that it wasn't his handwriting. - While William is resting after acing his exam, Dantalion goes to him to ask him if he's injured. He denies being hurt and Dantalion tells William that Elliot Eden comes from a family of reverends and that's why Michael was able to take over his body so easily. There is a shot of the real Elliot Eden walking in the school grounds with a broken arm. - Wlliam remembers Michael's words about Dantalion and asks him about his identity. - The flashback about Gilles is longer, with Gilles about to be executed for his crimes of massacring thousands of people, raping and killing many children. He wonders why God abandoned Jeanne of Arc and Baalberith appears to offer a contract with him to become a demon. He informs Gilles that Jeanne of Arc is a pawn of Heaven and he can meet her if he becomes a demon. Thank you for this post. |
| Angels should always be good, then whyare they behaving like bad guys? |
| Because nowadays good is considered boring and majority of teenage girls has this silly fascination with anything dark or mysterious, at least from their point of view. Of course it's "beautified" in a way, as the demons/vampires/werewolfs/whatever are pretty, refined or/and dress in haute couture or Victorian-esque fashion, which adds to their likable flavour. At least that's how it goes in media cattered for teens. I don't deny that you CAN'T make a nice plot where angels are bad or incredibly morally grey but Makai Ouji is not one of these examples. |
| I seriously don't like that they keep portraying the angels as the bad guys..it keeps bothering me. Maybe not necessarily bad, but they come with attitude problems, with the exception of maybe Kevin. I like Dantalion and the other demons on Williams side, but I really hate how they portray the Angels. |

| Angel Michael appears. Apparently, he's the reason why Kevin (Uriel) has one wing. And he's here to cause some trouble. This is why William needs to be taken to Hell. Also, it's because Lucifer might not wake up. |

| I... want to smack Michael in the face... badly. What a prick. I don't have a problem with angels taking the villain role, but I wish characters like Michael would at least give an appearance of benevolence, rather than so obviously behaving nastily. It makes no sense for an angel to behave that way. |

| For some reason this took over an hour to watch on CR on my Roku, tried it on site later and did not stop once on my Roku it kept stopping but the audio kept carrying on so I had to keep rewinding it and fast forwarding it. Michael is so rude! So that's why Kevin only has 1 wing, awww. Framing William for cheating D: |
