| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Seriously, Midousuji gives me the creepy when he rides but I do admit that the guy is quite skilled especially as an ace. That smile though.. Good episode imo. It really picked up the pacing literally too. Just goes to show how much some people wants to win that race in this nationals. |

| That three way tie... Midousuji with hidden tricks, glad his calculation missed the mark. Glad Kinjou did manage it though, still Midousuji is a monster. Everyone with their legs shaking, enjoyed Tadokor's taunt! Toudou calling Maki and about the eyes too. Tadokoro is not feeling well... hope he would get better, still to throw though. Imaizumi lost again, hope he can beat him onthe last day. |

| WTF!! Midousuji! WHY U SO DAMN CREEPY >~< XD Imaizumi got owned :O Loved the three way fight at the end. Nice seeing Midousuji finally admitting strength of people other than him. His plan didn't fail per se but he shared the win. Kinjou and Fukutomi were awesome! :D Shit! Wth happened to Tadakoro?! Things are looking grim now. I wonder how much it'll affect his race. Well seems like the 2nd day will be tough as hell!!! Let's see how this goes ^^ |

| Midousuji's movements were creepily impressive! He must be a Studio Pierrot & SHAFT customized character. Haha. Feel bad for Imaizumi.. I hope he gets his revenge by the time the race finishes. 3 Way tie was awesome. At last Midousuji admits the strengths of the Aces. For a moment though, I thought Fukutomi passed the finish line slightly before the other two.. Oh well. Damn, what happened to Tadokoro? :O Todou acknowledging Onoda was nice to see. Though he reminds him that it'll be a decisive fight starting day 2. Good episode. I hope Tadokoro recovers overnight. Imaizumi needs to cheer up as well. |

Souhoku = 2 tags Hakone = 2 tags Kyoto = 1 tag In the end, when Tadorochi was sweating and all and had to tell Makishima something, did he take performance enhancing drugs or something? Because sweating and vomiting is a common side effect of taking such drugs, dunno what happened for sure. |

| Ohmigod, the last part... HOLY SHIT WHAT'S GOING ON WITH TADO?!?!? I'm dying. Brilliant episode. I laughed, I cried, I got scared, I got goosebumps. Thank you for the best Mondays ever, Yowamushi Pedal. Seven weeks/episodes left! :( I'm guessing the second day will take up 3 episodes and the last day will take up 4? Probably. Or they'll do it Oofuri style where the last episode is just resolution/no-sports. |

| I knew it, someone in the team is bound to get severely injured or get sick, but I wasn't expecting it for this soon. | Tadokoro had 2 green tags beside him so I think they forwarded to the end of the second day and Tadokoro went overboard from sprinting, completely ruining himself. A tie? well, aside from the fact that it's practically impossible, it's good :D Imaizumi looks down, I wonder if it will affect the team later besides the tadokoro thing. |

| Well, that was unexpected. Considering current technology, not many bike races can end on a tie. Creeper-kun continues to deliver. He may be creepy, but he is fantastic entertainment to watch (and intelligent to boot!). Note: he looked almost normal during the award ceremony. Super weird. Manami and Onoda having nothing to talk about outside bikes is so accurate it hurts. Awkward cute rivalry, yayyyy. (￣▽￣)ﾉ☆*:.｡. | Wow this epsiode... I laughed, I swore, I had my eyes glued to the screen. But how about that 3 way tie lol. Pretty ridiculous, but also something I would've never thought of. Poor Tadakoro :/ he shouldn't always try to look so tough we all know he's just a big bear XD I wonder how the season is going to end... will we see the end of the inter-high? |

| That was so exciting! I had to get out of my seat to watch those three get to the finish line, I was that pumped. I really didn't expect that outcome either - I thought Fukutomi would win, with Kinjou second. Midousuji is still creepy, but in such a cool and entertaining way. He's so well portrayed that you genuinely feel a shiver go down your back and it's a pretty great feeling. I'm really worried about Tadokoro, though! I hope it's not anything too serious - he's easily my favourite character. Here's hoping he gets better with a good night's sleep. Jesus, I feel like someone's mum saying shit like this. |

| Alright if each day is 3 and a half eps we can finish this by ep 38. I was worried they might rush it but it looks like it'll just be cutting it close. And lol at onoda getting all flustered because todou told him he has nice eyes. |

I assume those you saw in tumblr was from people who can read raws T-T As of now, the manga is not a bit too far from what's currently happening in the anime eps. Welp, judging from the number of chapters they include per ep with loyalty to the manga, they can do 7 more episodes just up to chapter 137 only which is the newest chapter that tackles what goes on in 2nd day of the Inter High. I feel like we're going to have some cliffhang feels here soon :) To be honest, just a day in the Inter high is long. The first day took up 39 chapters. Welp, I think it just looks long since per chapter is just 20 pages. So short too. Lol at the senpais taking a bath :) Extras really are the best! | So the three schs were tied for first place...so anti-climatic. Man...Midosuji creeps me out big time! Poor Imaizumi..losing to him again and then became emo afterwards. And I'm glad Makishima didn't join Jinpachi on stage cos if he did, it would be an extremely cheesy moment haha |

| I wonder how they are going to fit 2 more days of Inter-High in just 7 episodes... Judging from the first day and the pacing in general, it would make more sense if we got 50 episodes total. Except if something unexpected happens and stops the race or the race is left unfinished with an announcement of a second season |

| From the writing standpoint, tying all 3 is a lame attempt, at least in my opinion. It's like saying "guys I won't show you who's stronger yet, look forward to the 3rd day." and making Midousuji catch up sucks a lot. What have he done, really, to be put on the same tier as the 2 captains? Not only that, he rides solo, what the fuck? Of course the writer would nerf only the Sohoku, Sohoku would have every problem on Earth and still ride on par with the ones without. |

| So a three-way tie... at least Kinjou and Fukutomi didn't lose from that first-year creep despite him being really skilled. Unexpected and worrying to see Tadokoro in such a state especially since he seemed fine when challenging the other sprinters on the podium. |
