| Did anyone notice how the currency in this universe is the same as in Cowboy Bebop? The Woolong, LOL. Having said that this series reminds me so much of Outlaw Star mixed perhaps with a bit of Redline. The Scarlet chick has some killer moves. I hope that at some point she comes and forms part of the crew. The comedy was quite hit and miss for me, but the bit when the Ramen guy says "I killed some one by accident" was hilarious. |

| I was surprised to see Space Dandy having a episode on a ramen as I had it for lunch. Nevertheless it was a fairly funny episode with Dandy getting chased every time he goes to eat. |

| Even better than the first episode. Meow might be my favorite character for the moment, lol @ him tweeting their position during the whole episode. Scarlet is awesome, and that old alien, that must be the most stupid backstory I've ever seen. Can't wait for next episode. |
| This show is so different that its extremely enjoyable to watch. The animation, the VAs and the music makes the wacky story or lack of that much better. |

| This episode was a lot of fun, the flashback of how the ramen alien killed his gf was simply hilarious, especially thanks to the serious music and dialogue.Also, I just love the setting, it's definitely one of the best aspects of Space Dandy for me. If it's gonna be just 13 episodes I'll be a bit disappointed, though. I feel like this anime would greatly benefit by having many adventures and expanding the crew and 1 cour doesn't seem enough to provide those. |

Yeah I'm not sure what you were expecting that lead you to being disappointed, because so far it's exactly what it seemed to be (for me, based on previews) added with that Watanabe charm. Perhaps you were too hopeful on the idea that it would be a more comedic bebop-esque show. |
| Scarlet is pretty badass. Some of the food looked so awkward this episode though. It's funny they didn't realize they were being tracked for awhile until later on. Silly goose. But damn, first customer in 90 years? Holy shit. |

| Oh man Meow is so funny. QT wonders why every time they go somewhere to get ramen, they're being found and Meow thinks it's a coincidence XD Too bad he didn't get his other dimensional ramen though, I would be pissed as well. Funny thing though, I was eating ramen as I watched this episode, how perfect. Though it probably doesn't taste as good as the ramen that Dandy got to try out in the end. |

| The ramen guy, a banal story, but touching. Other than that, 2 more episodes to go and this will be a drop. Perhaps it was explained somewhere, but why the series is considered American-oriented? I mean, does anyone overseas know who is Watanabe, except the anime fans? |

After watching both eng/jap versions for episode 1, I would say that the english version relies a lot more heavily on punchline jokes/puns than the japanese version does. The funimation subs lean towards the english dialogue but if you have an idea of what they're saying in japanese, you'll notice the dialogue is not quite the same in that the comedy comes from the situation rather than one liners (which I enjoy way more). |

| So much better than the 1st ep. I thought the animation would go down after the 1st ep but no, it's actually very consistent. I wonder how much are they putting into the making of this anime since it seems that it has a really high budget. And I thought only Production I.G., KyoAni and Madhouse can put up such amazing visuals. I'll be looking forward to more of it. |

| The old ramen guy roasting his gf is the funniest scene I've seen so far in 2014. xD His story is a bit touching. Its good to have some seriousness in this show with the big amount of comedy after all. Good episode. |
