Damn, this was intense. I loved the OST of the episode.

Oh Enjin, you always up to no good. That was not a pleasant past though. Dem ears.

They took Kohime out to scare them. That timided old guy saved her and that strong white guy saved him. So that bad guy is that guy, the main enemy of the arc, even though it seems like either he changed or someone else is inside his body.

The truth is different. And the main target for him is Hiizumi household?! He almost got killed (saved by the scroll), and the bad guy left. That old guy turns out to be a kind person even though he talks harshly. He gave the bowl to Kohime that was planned to give to Hime in the past (Akina got there before him).

New arc beginning. lol @ OnoD's character's singing in preview.

I thought that the fight sequence was a bit off. I was right. Turns out no one was really fighting seriously. It's only when they believe that Akina was dead that things got real!

Again a lot of effort spent in sakuga. Great!
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

Yo great episode. Everybody snapped on Gin. When it comes to friends nobody fucks around. Hime was about to kill that dude. I blame Akina for Gin getting his ass beat. By far best episode imo, but then again this arc was been great. Can't wait for next episode.

A lot of pantie shots ;D. Also why did they think a nine year old could be mayor? Lol.

Hmm, so Gin's body was possessed by this Enjin? Gin's dead.

Good fighting. The bowl was originally for Hime...

Dat animation.. So fluid.
Pretty disappointed when Yuuhi stops the fight.

Overall nice awesome episode. 5/5

Probably because Hime became a mayor at nine years old.
No matter how uninteresting an anime series looks, watch it.
No matter how uninteresting an anime series is, watch it until the bitter end.

Knew the mayor didn't really want to do things the way things were happening but I didn't buy Shiinozuka was that way also

Great visual direction as usual. That sequence when Enjin Hiizumi was explaining what the Pillars really were I enjoyed a lot

I thought it was great, when Yuuhi stopped the fight I think it was probably the right call in the end because Hime doesn't look like someone who would kill anyone.

Man the direction in this anime is so intense, not just the action, but even when Enjin was giving Akina the real story behind Hiizumi clan and the seven pillars. I especially enjoyed the part when everyone got super pissed at Enjin for stabbing Akina. Though it was quite obvious to the audience that Akina was okay since Enjin looked at his x acto knife (is that what's that's called?) and saw no blood lol. Still, that friendship. This episode was not only enjoyable because of the action and intensity, but we also learned a lot like what happened with Gin and who Enjin is.

Although I don't really know the characters that well, I thought it was touching when Shiinozuka saved the mayor and said that that was the mayor he knew. That brief flashback was enough to make me feel for the two.

Still waiting on a 2nd cour announcement.

At this rate, there's no way Hana no Uta can be covered without them skipping a lot of content. But so far, they've been doing the exact opposite.

They're probably planning on it already seeing as they seem intent on remaking this anime instead of continuing from the old version.

I love it when the Ogre sister finally snapped and joined the fight. I don't really get the story though, so basically Gin (who is dead) was possessed by the descendant of Akina's branch family that got sent to the other dimension long time ago?

Great episode. Loved how everyone was beating up on Gin when Akina got stabbed.
Looks like Kohime will have to wait a lot longer until she can become mayor.

It's alternately known as a segmented or snap-off blade utility knife, specifically of the workplace variety. Incidentally, the design was pioneered by a Japanese company (Olfa). X-Acto is merely another brand, specifically an office supply subsidiary of Elmer's, but is best known for its (womens") craft utility knives - which is what the term "X-Acto knife" usually refers to.

Yes, that sums it up pretty nicely. The manga went into slightly more detail, but not much.

As for the ep, there's not much to say that hasn't been said so far. It went off about as well as I could have imagined, and now I have this strong desire to see them animate a certain other character giving Enjin some nice beatdown with her signature move . . .

Im loving the ost's played in this series! They go so well. Anyone know the ost played when Akina gets stabbed and Gin gets sent flying in to a building :P or when Kotoha comes to saves Hime's sister?

This episode showed each characters true potential. I thought Gin was like the ultimate villain, but they put up a fight against him. This series is going to be so goooood!

Great episode! Not only for the combination of comedy and action visas, but also for the twists and turns that the plot revived in a new phase.
Nice design especially the deformed, good dialogues and animations.
Finally, does the guy have seen the re-emergence at the beginning of the series. Very immersive storytelling in the second phase, when you start to really see the excellent action with a combat different from the previous one that looked more like a skirmish between the children.
Pleasant ending!

Same. I thought that it'd head staright into Hoshi no Umi, giving that three episodes and then jumping a little to Hana no Uta, giving that the last three episodes but obviously they're actually animating the Thorny Path chapter next ep, which kicks that idea out of the window.

So either the Hoshi no Umi arc's gonna get some bits cut out (which I hope they don't do since that's my favourite arc), or the Hana no Uta bit will instead (and since that's the subtitle, that would be somewhat dumb). I really hope there'll be more eps or something at this rate.

Wasn't Hoshi no Umi ark animated? 3-episodes OVA
In this case, why they must redo this ark into current show? They'll just skip it.
BTW, http://myanimelist.net/anime/18499/Yozakura_Quartet:_Tsuki_ni_Naku
Tsuki ni Naku ark they already doing in OVA format.

This is soo good ;D It's been a while since I was so hyped about some anime. I had my doubts at first, because the first anime was such a huge failure, but now that I see they're actually going according to the original plot, I'm so happy :3

I'm only having small doubts about how they are going to pace this story, they've got so few episodes left anymore :/ Another season maybe?

This was by far one of my favorite episodes in the series so far. That scene where everyone went berserk after Akina was stabbed was beyond beautiful. It wasn't one of those typical outbursts that involved the shedding of tears and uproar. Even Hime, who would often forgo personal things such as the scarf she received from Akina when it came to protecting the town, threw away all of those values and flat out wanted to kill Gin for what he 'did' to Akina. That scene always makes me feel giddy.

Also, it gave me a nice dose of Hime x Akina. Just what I needed, haha.
