Great ending, it all ends well! ^^

Well, the story seemed to be a a little all over throughout, but the characters were very good. One thing I personally don't like is the voice actor of Haruyuki for Yokodera, but it was well-done anyway.

A solid 7/10 from me.

"So I'll give you mine." - little Youto

"But I still don't want to make any girls cry." - Youto

"...a hopeless pervert." - Tsukiko

HNNNNGGH. Even their little selves were cute... or wait shouldn't it be the other way around? Gotta like how direct and quick little Tsukiko is. "Okaa-shan!""Onee-shan!" Also more HNNNGH at that scene with both Azusa and Tsukiko's figurative tails wiggling. Tsukiko will be furious once she finds out Azusa got a first kiss from Youto before she did...

It's kinda sobering to realize that their little adventure in the past might have ended happy, but Tsukasa is still absent in the present timeline. Also, Youto and Tsukiko still have serious problems left unsolved - he loses his memories, and she still can't express her feelings. Though I did like how this last episode went full circle with the first episode with Tsukiko's last line and their ending situation.

Well, this was much more enjoyable and emotional than I expected. I'd dare say J.C. Staff did a good job for HenNeko, it was both visually pleasing and relatively emotional. I'll leave with the fact that the novels are still publishing and both Youto and Tsukiko still have unsolved problems with the cat god...

I didn't expect such a deep event on this anime. Yokodera sacrificing his memories for the sisters. It ended quite well. And the kiss too, geez. Only the shadow is shown...

It's so amazing that Youko gave away his memories for their sake. I was crying at that. I cried for most of this episode, actually.

I predicted from the begginning that Tsukiko would end up with Youko. I'm disappointed that her emotions didn't come back, because her laugh from the first episode was completely adorable! Little Tsukiko and Tsukushi were so cute. I would melt everytime Tsukiko said "mommy". She eats the same way too...."ohm ohm ohm.."

I still feel like a few minor things have not yet been resolved, but overall, I'm happy how it ended.

anyway... if those girls (or yokodera) were smart... they would wish he (yokodera) had 3 identical brothers from the cat/bunny god. one for each sister, one for azusa, and one for emi. that or for polygamy to be legal i guess...

I'm sorry to say this, but I think it very unlikely for Nekogami to grant such wishes in the way you're supposing. The young Youto said, "The Nekogami that delivers accepts someone's unneeded thing and delivers it to who needs it," which is granted in a strait way. But "the Nekogami that pulls in anything you want grants a wish in an unexpected and twisted way."

i know but they could always cancel the wish if it doesn't come out right which is exactly what they have been doing the entire time in the series.

It is not that easy, I suppose.
Even if they cancelled the wish, the side effects caused by it can remain. For instance, Youto cancelled his wish to know or rather remember what happened to them ten years ago, and then came back to the small park on the rainy day, but they still remembered what they had seen in the past.
Now, suppose the girls have a happy time with one of three new Youtos individually but then a certain problem makes them to go into a situation that they have to cancel the wish, each of them loses her own Youto who only knew the private time between him and her. There could be more difficult problem. Who knows which Youto is allowed to exist as the original? How do the other Youtos feel if they know they are going to be cancelled? I don't mean to be cynical here, but "No problem. Just cancel it" sounds to me like someone bought a puppy for their kid as a Christmas present and sends it to a facility executing animal euthanasia few months later.
Youto told Emi that she shouldn't wish something recklessly in the earlier episode. I have to agree with that.

The problem with Azusa is that she's happy just seeing him while Tsukiko has real skills to be his girlfriend , she's selfish towards sharing Youto . Azuki's atitude isnt the one of a girlfriend , it's the one of a close friend , best friend but far from a girlfriend .
Saying you're happy just to see him around you , no matter with who it's equal to a boy saying that it's just fine that his crush is with someone else but she's happy so it's alright with him.

HenNeko was interesting in the start, then the episodic format came in which someone makes wishes and the next episode it gets cancelled and i got pretty tire of it. And there's too much harem there's not much left room for character development for the minor characters.

But the saving grace though is the development between Yokodera and Tsukiko. The last episode made this clear and i could say I'm satisfied with the ending. Not bad overall.

7.5 = 8/10

A much better ending than I was looking for. There is some closure, yet there some unresolved issues. And we got a kiss and all!

I can't wait for a second season! There needs to be one, I hope there is one.

------------

Overall this turned out to be much better than I anticipated when I started watching this. It almost brought a tears to my eyes these last two episodes. I loved the story and the comedy was great, with lovely characters and a surprisingly interesting backstory for all characters.

8/10!

Yeah, I agree with you. This was probably the first show for me, where the mc didn't end up with the girl I would've wanted him to end up with. Assuming there will be a second season, the harem ending would've been fine if it wasn't so obvious that Yokodera will end up with Tsukiko eventually.

It was a good final 2 episodes, I thought something a bit more clever might have occurred but it was a satisfying ending, a fair 7/10.

I'm assuming we never found out what the promise to Emi was then?

I do see a possibility of a Season Two with Youto deciding between Tsukiko and Azusa.

Aghhh the show didn't went with my expectations. I guess I was hoping for more of a school life kind-of anime. The show is more 'clever' than I expected it to be, with all the time travel. For me the peak was when young Yokodera gave Tsukushi his memories. Didn't expect that at all. I actually had to use a bit of my brain for this anime... lol

Note: Marathoned the show.

Well that was a pretty nice ending and well while we didn't fully see the kiss the ending it self sure was nice! I really liked the concept of this anime and while it still doesn't really feel like the story finished it does make a good whole for everything that we've seen up until now!

A pretty good series in general and wouldn't mind a second season!

The young Tsukiko is hella, hella kawaii. The way she says mom but instead of it sounding like okasa it sounds like "okasha" especially when they went inside their mom's house and Tsukiko's first thought is food xD

Hold up, so because of the wish he made when he was younger, that meant that whenever he would meet either Tsukiko or Tsukushi that he won't be able to remember those memories? I'm especially talking about when Tsukiko wore the demon mask and later the neko mask when she met Yokodera on the playground, I guess the only thing good that happened was not having to remember being dressed up as a girl by Tsukasa that's the type of shit on how guys like Bridget from Guilty Gear end up when they get older . Wait, why couldn't the younger Yokodera just wish the cat god for Yokodera to get better and be able to live long enough to see them raise their own families and what not?

*someone make a Hentai parody doujinshi where Yokodera goes through all the girls, just have this hella huge reverse gangbang at his house where his parents are conveniently on vacation in Guam or wherever they are.

I was really hoping that Tsukiko would gain her emotions back, but I think it's for the best... that she doesn't, but then again, maybe she should (For Season 2?)

And yeah, I really want a Season 2, if Tsukiko would get her emotions back, but then again, maybe this shouldn't have a season 2, I don't know...
even I am totally confused.

This falls to my category of Season 2 or not.
