I don't really like Chiho but I must respect her for finally confessing to Maou.

Suzuno is just too cute.. Too moe.. I hope she will be an ally of Maou in the future.

Well, Emi is still the no.1. She's just the best, hands down.

Pretty calm episode, need moar.

Not a bad episode, but unfortunately the drawings have become too skinny, the story deserves veramentte drawings more carefully, I hope they do it with the BD version! Only point where I did not like the narrative and when Yusa Suzuno leave to go to work, it seems quite surreal, because she realized that the girl is so light years away from the modern era that would not have been able to move so freely not taking into account then the reaction took place on the sale of the ring, they can also be good. However narratively bet is great, although the reaction of Maou I liked it much better than all those rations strange and out of the norm seen in similar souls, where the characters look like real suckers! XD The manager of the Sentuck fried chicken, I smell could also be the enemy that attacked Emilia! Even for Hataraku, full points this week! Too bad Suzuno is not in love with Maou!X°°D

James couldn't steal Ash's Pikachu so he decided to steal Maou's customers instead. And goddammit, I called it:

What are you talking about? That is obviously Team Rocket trying to steal a rare poke......I mean, potato.

Only the potato part was wrong. Though I must admit, it's very likely that he's the one that fought Emi.

btw, did someone else think that chiho looked weird in that episode? for me it felt like they drew her differently or like someone else drew her. idek.

I find that Suzuno and Chiho are both awesome in different ways. Emi is cool too, but her attitude throws me off. I can understand though, seeing as Maou is basically her world's Satan...or used to be.

Chiho and Suzuno were very cute. I liked that Chiho just told Maou straight on. Especially since she's been shy previously. Maou was oblivious to it before when they were eating so let's see how "sincere" he ends up being.

SFC competition is really getting to Maou and Chiho haha

I don't really mind the slice of life/lovecom like set-up that's currently daily fare, but after having been shown glimpses of what Maou is capable- namely his devilish side- I'd like to see more of that. Involve Ente Isla a bit more again and focus on the threat that is coming from there (it seems everyone's out for Maou's head and that I want to see more of).
Chi-chan's as cute as always. Can't help but love her.

I myself am wondering when the next major event will happen. Judging by the introduction of the new shady manager and the attack on Emi, probably not too long. Maybe next episode, since I believe the last episode will be simply to close out the season and won't have too much going on.

Chiho's confession was honest, sweet and strait forward. Maou should pay more attention to her then, but he's not romantically interested in her. However I liked that they addressed the "are-you-ok-with-us-being-demons?" issue, because it bugged me for some time how Chiho never had a problem with the fact.

Suzuno sudden behavior change was funny. Liked her small "ehhp" sounds and frustration when using technology.

Aww poor Lucifer

Chiho confessed to Maou 0__0

Suzuno is actually from the Church and not a demon. I like her the way she is but lol @ her amazement of Japan's technology XD

Sentucky is stealing MgRonald's business. it seems Team Rocket is stuck in this world and using their "business like skills" to gain money in order to continue their Team Rocket operation. ( He is most likely using magic to gain so many customers)

I wonder Ashiya will fall under the Sentucky spell. Maybe he will work in Sentucky in order to uncover its secrets?

Thought that "James" was a demon, but upon reflection that cannot be the case. James was the guy who probably attacked Emi in the 7th episode, so that would make him either a high ranking Church official, or perhaps one of the angels.

Lucifer had black wings, in the credits Emi had white wings, so Lucifer definitely has been promoted to "fallen angel" status. Emi's half blood status being revealed will be interesting. Maou already knows something about that (a shown a couple of episodes ago). What this "that" is will be fun to see.

I think that the writer is going to end the harem scenario pretty soon. He did not draw out Shizuno, and he had Chino confess in such an incredible way that I cannot see this not being resolved. I loved Maou's response about "having to meet her father". That is a classical way to respond. The lord demon of hell thinking like a traditional Japanese suitor was fabulous (and was what converted Shizuno to the pro-Emi/Maou side). Plus that Chiho is an expert in Kyuudo (Japanese archery) is a good sign. Chiho as a buddhist sage anyone.

This show has so many possibilities that I don't want to predict where it is going. I want to savor what each week brings. Definitely one of the best shows of the season.

Episode 08 was just too short, I wanted more lol.

Suzu going shopping and seeing a TV for the first time and her struggle against the pre-paid card train machine (like a Oyster machine), were brilliant moments of this episode.

I think Chi-chan is a nice character but I just really don't give a crap what happens to her and for the most part, I would like her to stay away from the story but I know that's not going to happen since the group requires a "Human" from Earth.

The Sentucky manager was jokes, in the previous episode I thought it was Lucifer all dressed up. However, I reckon him and Mayumi (the MgRonalds manager) have a past...I hope they do because I want to see their "reunion" but I'm pretty sure if it was to happen, it would be like for a few minutes and not a focal point for any particular episodes.

The only problem with this show currently is that it will be finished in 5 more episodes, it might get a 2nd season but we will most likely have to wait for it, I think the remaining episodes will focus on who attacked Emi and possibly finding out who he/she is and possibly having a fight against the person.

Been catching up on 3 weeks worth on anime, since college finals are over, and I have to say that this hasn't lost it's charm. Very great balance in the comedy and serious department. The expressions on Chiho's face were hilarious, and the fact that she confessed was a real surprise so I wonder how that's going to play out.

I honestly disagree with that. Compared to the first five episodes, these last three episodes have been kind of disappointing. The story is moving way too slowly, and the badly written ''romance'' is taking more and more space in the series with every episode.

Funny episode!!!

Kamazuki, Suzuno is an interesting character and when Emi and her found out about each other, their facial expressions and reactions was funny. Chiho also made me laugh when she just ran off with Sadao's bike. Seems like we have a business rival here and their Sarue, Mitsuki poses a problem for MgRonald's. Suzuki, Rika catches on a potential love quarrel between Suzuno and Emi as they make their way to Hatagaya. The train scene was also very enjoyable to watch especially with Suzuno's knowledge of the modern society.

Looking forward to the next episode!!

5/5

Uhm, moving slowly? They have introduced 1 major character, showed how Emi will be able to power up, had some first rate comedy scenes (and that you haven't figured out this is a comedy, not a "romance" or "action" makes one wonder about your powers of observation in and of itself), and established at least 3 major plot lines so that the upcoming action scenes make sense. That you can't appreciate that just shows that you are still stuck in the Shounen genre and should forthwith return there.

As for "badly written" romance, first no one expected it to happen this soon (which means it wasn't badly written) and second, the short amount of time they have used on it framed nearly all the character development for this show. I think your problem is that you think this is going to be a harem show. It isn't. Had Chiho NOT confessed then you may have had a point, but they have cleared that potential annoyance in a most satisfying way. Now, lets see how Maou responds to the most terrifying demon of all, the father with a daughter-complex. That first meeting is going to be great.

Hopefully now that the confession has happened the show wont focus so much on chi, she really is this shows worst aspect. I'd glady sacriifice her screen time for the new girl who has significantly more personality and chemistry with characters.

One of the best episodes so far imo, the KFC vs McDonalds stuff is very funny but this'll only be good until the author runs out of good ideas. The Kimono-girl really is from Ente Isla. Hopefully the next episode'll be just as good as this episode.
