It's the first time I saw Emma express her feelings so openly. She was crying, Will was crying... I was crying! It's too sad! *wipes tears*

... ;_; That... was just... so sad...

Yeah, it certainly felt like it was the first time Emma expressed her feelings so openly...

She fit in perfectly at the party, as well. I think she even outshined Eleanor. Proof that she could marry Will and fit in as a noble. D< It's proof I say! Arghh, only it'll never happen... (Or... will it...? Onwards with the episodes!)

Really liking this show so far. At least Mr. Campbell is the only one with enough sensibility to feel disgusted at that asshole Mr. Jones and the rest of his family. He is right. They really do have alot of problems LOL!

Oh boy I was totally mind blown when they said Emma had to accompany her to the party! The moment she saw that it was William DAMN!!! Super great development right here, the ending was so sweet, I do wonder what both of them will do now!

I love how this series conveys so much feeling in such an understated and classy manner. The scene when Emma finally realizes who it is in front of her has hardly any dialogue but boy does it hit you. And emma looks beautiful in her dress. And might I say that daaammnn her mistress is one fine looking lady, That scene at the beginning when she's looking out of the window was quite a revelation.

Ouch. I felt like my heart was just stabbed. I can't imagine how painful it was for Emma.

The problem with William is he wants to have his cake and eat it too. Ugh.

William is a moron, indeed.
I would feel bad for Eleanor, but then I remember that this is what she was trying to do when he was chasing Emma before. So, really, the only one I feel sorry for is Emma, because she's been trying all along to do the right thing and maybe follow her heart a little.
Your mean should be an even bell curve only if you watch every show that comes out. Having a high-slung mean doesn't mean you're rating improperly. It can also mean you're selecting shows well to watch mostly things you enjoy.

Why a married woman, Monica Mildrake traveled alone with Prince Hakim to India...?

Aww! Such a heartwarming moment William the fiancé of Eleanor shared a kiss with Emma after she learned he is going to marry Eleanor... ≖_≖

Never would I've guessed the outcome for this episode and quite a lot happened.

Since William is occupied with Eleanor, I actually thought we would get more focus on Emma and Hans. But it was obvious what would happen after they met Ms. Trollope.

Entering the party without glasses I was like, ok, she might be safe and won't notice William, but I cringed hard when everyone gathered at the same spot xD

Then the kiss at the end and the reunion as a whole really took me by surprise in the most positive way. It's been a while since I've seen such a moving and absolutely brilliant executed moment ;_; Being minimalistic yet so powerful, that was a trait which I already adored in S1. Simply fantastic.

On a side note, I really don't like it how the noble folk is looking down on the ones who worked for their wealth.

Ah man, William needs to make up his mind what he wants. He keeps getting swayed.
Anyway, Emma looked nice in that dress. And Eleanor's dad is pretty sick in the head as I felt with his appearances before.

Damn Emma's crying face almost got me crying too. It was so sad, and it is the first time she has expressed her feelings so openly. She truly has met her breaking point. She is too good for William.

Also I'm kinda living for the fact Monica left with Hakim to India!!! Hakim didn't get Emma to leave with him, but now he found someone who was up for an adventure, or possibly just running away her problems as far as she could. Truly a power move.

This was the first episode of the adaptation that I was a bit disappointed in. William's and Emma's reactions when seeing each other again were so tame, even compared to the manga where there was no voice acting and no music. Really a shame, I wanted them to go all out with this scene.
The 2002 Tokyo Mew Mew adaptation is not as great as you remember it being.

They KNEW she was ALIVE‽ She left her children for over a DECADE, and they KNEW? The way they talked about her last season, and ESPECIALLY how their father wistfully asked her portrait for advice for their son...after she LEFT THEM? I thought she was dead — I mean, who wouldn't‽

She better have a DAMN good reason for staying out of her childrens' lives for so long. If she grew weary of her husband and his stern, business-minded ways, I can understand that, but it takes a different type of person altogether to leave her children for over a DECADE.

More of note happened in this episode of course (the scenario of their reacquaintance was preeett contrived, but seeing them meet again did hit emotionally), but I can't help but dwell on this.
