I've known this actor for a while now. The guy Final Fantasy fans know as Cloud Strife.
Anyway as for recommendations if maybe you made things a bit more specific I can give you a hand with that.
Anyway as for aquatope it's kind of hard to describe. It is an iyashikei (if you don't know what that means look it up but tldr it's a of really laid back slice of life) and that's probably the best way I can think to describe it. Not much happens (the plot is just some people working at an aquarium) and there isn't really much plot progression, it's the kind of show you watch just to unwind so if that is your kind of thing you might enjoy it
YESSSSS!!! OMGGGG I jumped onto the Haikyuu train last year as well!! IT'S SO GOOD <3 T_T I love Season 2, it has such a special place in my heart it's like my comfort season, the whole training camp arc just kills me XD
Ooohhh yes it just started airing! I haven't seen it yet, I'm one to binge HAHAHA so I'm gonna wait until all the eps come out!!
I am really into Dororo! It's so good! Dororo really reminds of Barakamon! I think you'll really like the series! It does get really heavy in some bits though so be prepared for feels! :o
Thank you! You too! Sorry for the late reply! I've been bouncing between here and Anilist! XD
OMG HAHAH so with Skip Beat I still collect it, like I physically go into the store and buy it, but I haven't been reading it???!! I think it's because I took that really weird manga/anime break so I need to restart the manga from the beginning and then follow up the story!!! How about yourself?
So I think it started off with me just wanting to refresh my brain with Attack on Titan since another friend was also watching it and then I ended up really getting into the Haikyuu fandom and now I'm completely and utterly taken over by the Given fandom.
How about you? What's been some good titles for you lately?
Your latest message put the biggest smile on my face. It's a peaceful Friday afternoon right now and the sunlight is streaming into my bedroom. Even though it's winter, the weather's rather mild today, the birds are singing, and I have lo-fi playing in the background. I didn't think this moment could be better - then BOOM! Instant dopamine rush upon seeing your post. I love the way you write. It always feels like rolling into pleasant company when you least expected it.
I'm seriously impressed that you've managed to catch up to One Piece. The sheer quantity of episodes is so intimidating for me, but I totally get that I'm missing out on something great. Last summer, I was obsessed with the One Piece X Hungry Days X Bump of Chicken collaboration for Kinen Satsuei. The animation is so gorgeous and I was genuinely sad when they took the original video down. Even though it's just a cup noodle advertisement haha. I tried to beat the song to death but it's still so fresh. I just feel good vibes every time I listen to it.
Usotoki Rhetoric looks really interesting. And Kingdom is honestly soo good. Definitely not the genre I usually dabble in, but the mix of history and character and drama is really well-balanced. I put it down for a hot minute but it's probably time to dive right back into it hahaha.
Speaking of sweet couples, I think I've found a new OTP. There's this precious little webtoon called Nice to Meet You. I literally started reading it this morning and I think you'll like it too. Kazykoki, I've gone so far down the manwha rabbit hole it's not even funny. Save me (ノ▽〃)
No worries about the delayed reply. Please take your time. The past year has been really hard for all of us. I was really worried that I'd have to leave my job because of the pandemic but thankfully they decided to keep me and allow me to continue working online. Staying at home is nice but I definitely miss the human interaction of being around people in person.
The few good things I've gotten from 2020 is playing too much Breath of the Wild, watching Among Us videos on YouTube, spending more time with family, and becoming a bit of a plant mom. I just bought three new babies earlier this week: a rubber tree I've named Maya, a snake plant named Cosmo, and a variegated croton named Wanda. I love them already. Thinking of putting up some additional shelves so I can continue collecting more.
As always, stay safe and happy, my dear ❀◝(>∀<)◜❀
I'm so glad to hear that you've been safe and sound! I took the nicest longest bath after having a video call with some of my friends earlier today so I'm at peak happiness right now lol. And the cherry on top was realizing that there were two new chapters of Skip Beat! that I hadn't read yet. Crazy how fast time is flying these days.
It hit me that I've gradually become older than Ren. All of the baby steps he's been taking makes so much more sense to me. He's just a smol bean. There's so many new characters being introduced and I'm also excited to see it all play out.
Holding onto these small happy moments as best as I can. When I'm not working, I'm vegetating with some manhua. Hbu?
^Don't click until you've had a chance to savor the latest chapter. My comment can wait.
Ren was always a cheeky little rascal lol. He simply looked older and more mature in the earlier illustrations, and he appears more boyish and roguish now that Nakumura-sensei's art style evolved. It's almost like he aged in reverse haha.
The last time I binged all the chapters was around the end of the Cain Heel arc because I got frustrated at the pacing and thought we would never get back to Kyouko's acting. But going back and rereading from the start made me appreciate all the little details sprinkled throughout the story. It blew my mind that Nakamura-sensei mentioned Boost all the way back in the Princess Coup d'Etat arc. (Do you remember that shady dude from the magazine who was hanging around Kyouko in Chapter 14 when she was having her portrait taken? The translators incorrectly said that he was from a tabloid called "Boots" - and I tell you, Kazykoki, I have never facepalmed so hard in my entire life at a typo.)
And speaking of subtle foreshadowing, here's the latest piece of gossip on the internet:
Last but not least, I'm having mixed feelings about Kyouko deciding to finesse her way through the truth about Bo's identity. It was a perfect time to come clean since Ren was being so honest and open with her for once. I'm so, so, so proud of our homeboi. He's grown so much. I'm just praying she confesses when Ren finally reveals that he's actually her beloved fairy prince (TT^TT)
Maaaaaaan. Don't even get me started on Skip Beat! I literally kept denying that it was happening until it actually happened. That little somersault landing was exactly how I was feeling, like "what?! it hit the target?! no misunderstandings - wait, is this even the same manga or some fan work I accidentally clicked?" I'm sure you can imagine precisely the amount of freaking out that occurred when my brain registered I was reading canon stuff.
I was devastated by Impatient Scans being dismantled. I had literally just joined their Discord group and was getting comfortable after silently stalking their Facebook page for ages. I think S2Scans also stopped posting anything for the past two years and they were the only ones who produced quality scantalations as far as I remember. This lone translator was a God-send, honestly. I think I would've also started crying if we'd been denied the goods after waiting for an entire freaking decade.
In any case, I won't spoil what's happening before you get a chance to catch up. Bon appetit, ma chere!
