| The last I heard CLAMP was they're trying put together a good ending. It's been years now and that cliffhanger was.....wow. Is it because they're so busy on Tsubasa Chronicle? =/ |

| I think its either, yes they are currently tied up with Tsubasa/xxxHolic at the moment, or its they still can't get things straightened out with the publisher, or perhaps both. I just hope CLAMP will finish X after when Tsubasa/xxxHolic are finally done (which I hear both should be ending later this year). I think CLAMP is the only one who knows for sure at this point... ...And for those who are reading this post and are giving me a blank look, wondering what I mean by "publisher", check out the last part of my review on the manga page, it mentions the story I heard about CLAMP's conflict with the magazine the series was serialized in. I have no idea if its true or not, i'm just repeating what I heard. |

| Wow Tsubasa and Holic are really ending soon? I suppose that good since it's been running for a while. They have that Kobato anime to deal with at that time. Despite all the trouble X has to go through I fully hope it'll get done soon. I mean c'mon! |

| From what I heard, Clamp will most likely wrap up Tsubasa and Holic and continue with their daily schedule. I just hate it when they create another series and try to make it good. Makoto is their new series. I want to see Legal Drug and Clover end too. |

| It's not that they're bussy the magazine where it used to be serialized closed and no other magazine has pick it up, the volume 18.5 was released on their own and are chapters that were already made for the now exctint magazine, CLAMP has said many times they will end it, It's planned for 22 columes (only 4 more of the relased ones) and They don't have a exact date but they will end that one and Gohou drug and CLOVER just be patient they have their own issues. |

| I hope that now that TRC (and consequently xxxholic) are reaching their end, CLAMP will finally pick up X. I mean, that shocking content or whatever problem it was they had with the editors is simply ridicule. I lost count to the outrageous stories that have been told in the anime/manga bussiness. I truly hope they will end the series. X is such a good story by itself that it didn't even need all the fanservice they did with the TRC crossover. I want Kamui and Fuuma's original ending, I don't even care if it is good or bad or tragic or not, I just want a damn ending. The same goes for other hiatus works of the four CLAMP ladies. But of course, it wouldn't be strange to see them starting a new series out of the blue and dragging those unfinished ones on to all eternity. That's just how they are. They like to make fans suffer lol. |

| I randomly started reading this series. My first impressions: very 90s, lots of angst, visions of the apocalypse etc. Seems pretty cool but I wonder how this story would fit in to today's manga market. It seems to have a different mood than most of the stuff Clamp is famous for. |

It's been few years since i read 18th volume and i stopped waiting :/ Maybe it's another meaning of the "X" in the title,- and we'll never find out the ending :P. From wikipedia: "Beyond mathematics, "X" is a generic placeholder whose value is secret or unknown". Just a random thought :) |

Well, they put it on hiatus on 2003 because of social issues. http://comipress.com/article/2006/03/07/3 And currently because of the earthquake this year, I think CLAMP won't bother to pick it up even though Kobato ended, leaving Gate 7 left as their current work together with their Blood-C project with Production I.G. If they do intend to continue it next year, they should remain it as "X 2012" LOL |

It's too bad how things have ended up, first with their publishers, then the tsunamis and other natural disasters preventing them from touching those delicate issues (even when it's just fiction)... It's a shame, really... Hope the matters get resolved soon enough~ |

| I never heard about them postponing because of all the natural disasters, but it's certainly understandable (but makes it less likely they'll ever do it) I lost interest after the debacle that was the TV anime, but if the manga ever did continue I'd have to pick it up again. |

| I just keep hopelessly reassuring myself that it will get going again. It's my favorite series, ever, and the only series where I actually LIKE the tidbits of yaoi (Normally I hate yaoi. Not because I'm anti-homosexual or anything, I just think it's generally poorly done.) I wanna know what Kamui really waaannts. |

| X has the WORST uncompleted ending EVER. It stops at such a bad spot holy hell! And I'm talking about volume 19, chapter 5. I mean, Fuuma's 'bout to stab Kamui, someone is bleeding badly, Subaru's grown out his hair and joined the dark side and it just LEAVES US HANGING ARGHHH. Clamp can't continue it AT THE MOMENT because the violence and disaster in the manga is too close to what is happening at Japan at the moment, and their publishers have complained. But honestly...This is Clamp's masterpiece! I WISH it was completed! I want to know wtf happens and wtf happens to Subaru D: |

| MAL doesn't consider it completed. You can see "publishing" in the status. CLAMP never said they will not complete this series... But they didn't say WHEN they will complete. |

| I haven't finished reading the manga until the latest chapter released yet. And honestly I have almost no hope that X is going to be finished at all, it's been almost 10 years already. -__- I might say something really "wtf" since I haven't catched up with the manga, but from the things I heard of X, I think you can call that scenario of Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations (OVA), or for the ones who read the TCR manga (beginning of chapter 107) ...is a possible conclusion that clamp came up for X, I'm just talking about scenarios, not characters ( since clamp changed a lot of things). Anyways, I don't know, I'm just suggesting that for the ones who have read the manga X and haven't read/watched tsubasa, I think you should, even if it's not even close of what I said, at least you get to see the characters again with a more "modern" looks. ^^ |

| Man, it's nearly a decade now and poor Fuuma's shoulders are aching for holding that sword too long! XD And now CLAMP is continuing TRC while putting Gate 7 and xxxHolic: Rei on a hiatus. (Idk what's the status of Drug & Drop because I never read it yet). I really hope they would continue X/1999 but it seems they forgot about it. *sigh* |

Maybe they'll continue it by the time George R.R. Martin finishes A Song of Ice and Fire. LOL |
