This episode was the first one in quite a while that had my attention the entire time. And talk about a cool ending! Now if only the rest of the series would stay like this. |

| I've seen lot of crazy ideas in anime but nothing like out singing beam of energy that can destroy 5 000 000 ships (that was size of Zentradi main fleet if i remember correctly) Anyway it's nice to see development and some meaning behind singing like idiots in mids of ongoing battles Sent with Mal Updater |

| Literally weaponizing music so it can shoot beams.....something tells me this is missing the point of what Macross was originally all about. It's just.... so dumb, and not really the kind of dumb I can get behind. But hey, it's not boring any more. |

| First episode since the beginning that I really hooked in me in from the beginning to the end. Holding back the monster with music is just the kind of over-the-top Macross stuff that I like. Basara was actually great in this episode because he wasn't able to spew out the autistic bullshit every time he opened his stupid mouth. |

| Damn I wanted Mylene to make that intro scream! The last scene was so incredibly ridiculous but at the same time so awesome that I just couldn't stop grinning with watery eyes xD It's so nonsensical yet so enjoyable haha P.S. What kind of energy awakened that monster? |

| They're really using music as a quantifiable energy source, and are subsequently sciencing the hell out of it. No, rather, they're going further by incorporating a love triangle their experiment. I'm not sure how that works, but holy crap that amplified rock attack was awesome. That aside, "Basara lost his voice!" "Well why didn't he say so?" Uh. |
