| Good first episode; stayed true to the first chapter of the manga; there were some original scenes like Babu's death and such; but it was good, the animation was great and i like how they stayed true to the characters because as weird as the MC is, its important for future development. It seems like a lot of the anime will be original scenes tho since from the preview alone there were few that were in the manga; like it seems they are gonna show even if only a little bit how the freak dad took the photos. Anyway looking forward to the rest; anyone who read the manga have any guesses on how many chapters do you think will be covered? |

| I have to say, this is a perfect way to start off an anime-adaptation. I loved the Manga and it's designs, and this first episode covers the fist chapter nicely. His little sister is so moe~ Love her. Sanka is a bit too innocent, but she was the exact same in the manga, so no complaints there. I love the main lead even more now, I didn't think I could like him even more after the manga. Main point to be made here: FINALLY a great love/comedy anime adaptation from a manga. After I saw the Boku ha Tomodachi anime, I was beginning to think they were getting worse, thank god Sankarea came along. Love the colors and animation - the effects remind me of Bake/Nise monogatari, but maybe better? (Lights and bloom + Dat sky scene) Overall, a high 7/10 from me - will go higher if they keep it going at this quality. Is it a 12 episode series or 25? |

Hope so, because it gets better as it goes along, shows more a serious tone as well which is something you might not expect from this episode or the first few chapters; i just hope they don't do a bunch of filler. |

| That was pretty good actually. Poor Babu, we only saw one scene of him alive. I wonder if he'll end up being resurrected in the end. Damn, his cousin is pretty sexy. Sanka Rea is a cutie too, shame she didn't look that appealing in the last scene though. xD Instantly recognized the OP performance too, since it's the same as Hanasaku Iroha's. Kimiko from nano.RIPE has such a distinct voice. |

| First episode was pretty decent. I still don't get this whole "I want to date a zombie" and "I want to be a zombie" thing. I'm rather old school in the belief that Zombies are nothing more than mindless re-animated corpses that constantly crave meat. I don't even think Sankarea and Ayumu could be really classified as zombies. They'd be classified more like "undead". |
| Nice start to the anime. Rea is pretty cute but Wanko also caught my attention. Didnt really like her in the manga but this might change after watching more episodes. |

| This anime is cool!! At first I thought that the Rea had gone to the well to kill herself but...-_-" shouting in the well? That wasn't expected... Feel bad for the kitty. But seriously, that guy's really obsessed with zombies. And his hair is strange too - like he has cat or wolf ears on his head and his expression is so wolf-like, to me that is. Last part was kinda scary. 9/10 I think.. |

The first episode followed the manga well, with a few extensions and slight mods that helped explain the situation a bit better. (Essentially they "borrowed" a few things from later on in the manga for some of the scenes.) |

| I never read the manga so I didn't know what to expect but this show is awesome! I can't wait for the next episode. Sanka Rea is just soooooo cute. The poor cat dying and Furuya trying to resurrect it reminded me of Pet Semetary by Stephen King. And a main character with a zombie fetish just like mine... awesome! ^____________^ |

| The concept is so silly, yet the actual series feels just... right. Guess that a good direction, great characters and some ingenuous lines of dialogue make the trick. Will watch in full most probably. |
