I don't really mind about Toshio, since he does have a plan along with Natsuno, and its plan awesome. Now all thats left is Toshio & Chizuru's date... but with only 5 episodes left idk how is this going to turn out, they might rush an ending >w> |

They get victims from a nearby city as food for the newly risen. If they run out of people to drink from assuming the entire village turns, I'm sure they'd just start using the city as their main source rather than something for the new guys. That or like in other vampire related series, blood banks. Anyone who reads the manga care to spoil for me why Seishirou is married to a vampire and aiding, financing these vampires even though he is a human? Is he some sort of "special" human, or is he just really demented? |

| Wow, this episode was amazing. So many things happened! I feel so bad for Kaori...and I really want to know what happened to Akira. Also, Mrs. Kirishiki's outfits are extremely inappropriate. |

| Let's see here... I'm gonna put together a list of who hasn't been bitten or killed yet. It won't go past the point in the anime, but I'm going to put it into spoilers to conserve space. I think it's safe to say that everyone who hasn't been touched is either in too big of a mental breakdown, too useless, elderly, or is too much of a supporting character to do anything, but it's fairly obvious that Ozaki is up to something. |

| poor Kaori she looked so bad and broken down but what can she do? tortured by her best friend and stuck watching her whole family bitten. Ritsuko and the old lady and then Ozaki bitten too!?! what bothers me most is the cowardly monk. I hate him so much. he sits back and does nothing. he's worse than the idiotic villagers. he knows whats happening and practically condones it. he betrayed his friend, even his father and the whole village. I want the monk to suffer slowly and to never rise after he dies. he's no monk, nothing but a sell out. with Natsuno being followed by Tatsumi he's gonna be screwed even in death soon. wtf can possibly happen now that Ozaki and pretty much EVERYONE is bitten? all of Ozaki's records gone. the only guess for an ending is just like he said EVERYONE, shiki and living alike all die and the village is forgotten. I mean as if that wasn't enough but they are able to come in his place, snipe his stake and then bite him? this isn't even remotely fair. |

| Well, this anime has been pretty good this far. I just hope they won't ruin it with some sort of shoneny vampslayer ending. Personally, I would most certainly like to see the shiki prevailing in the end. Vampire utopia ftw! |

| Natsuno fashioned sense turned into some scene emo kid after death. Guess it kinda makes sense, I'd be pretty emo if I was dead. Doesn't make him a cool undead though like Tatsumi with his hair so lulzy. This series is definitely my favorite this season. |

| Natsuno maintains too much of his cool in his shiki form. Toshio gets bitten at the end, which shocks me to no end. Muroi NOW sides with the Kirishikis now. This is beginning to be interesting. CRITICAL PLOT TWISTS!!! We'll HAVE to wait what happens next week! (So wait, is Toshio going to be a werewolf too then?) (Also, Ritsuko gets bitten too!!! She probably fell in too much shock after seeing Kiyomi drive a delivery truck. ;(!!!) |

Some people will only give a high rating based on their own "criteria" of what they think is "good" I for example will give a high rating to any anime which is able to do the following: #1 and most important of all....ENTERTAIN ME!!! #2 A story that is interesting and doesn't seem to be either stupid or full of complicated nonsense #3 Characters that I can admire (anime is all about characters). #4 ANIMATION (Art style, and animation quality) So far Shiki's first half (first 10 episodes or so) didn't really entertain me, the second half (11- present) has been much better, the story is interesting but that wasn't the case at the beginning, finally to be blunt the characters SUCK, for the exception of Toshio and Sunako everyone else is pretty bad. Also, the art style is "unique" but not that great, although it's not bad either... As of right now I would give it a 7 only because the last 5 episodes have been so good, the ending will determine how high I rank it. |
