Shiryu, you need to get some goggles or something because your precious eyes tend to be the enemy's main target lol
Still rooting for ya!
It's cool that Shura saved Shiryu with the gold armor. What a noble sacrifice in my opinion.

Freya showing that even though she can't fight physically she'll still stay in Asgard to fight in support of Athena.

At first I felt odd about the adding in of the detail that Shura saved Shiryu in this moment. I was under the impression that both were revived by Athena even though in the moment I had questioned that logic as both seemed to burn their bodies up and turn into eternal stars. Looking back at episode 73, I can see that Shura was actually never recovered, and this detail is one that makes a lot of sense. In fact it weirdly enough fills in a plot inconsistency that had troubled me. I was not expecting a bromance between Shiryu and cosmos Shura but it's one I greatly appreciate. It was one of my favorite fights in the entire series after all.

Fenrir immediately showing that he really loves his wolves. At least he's clearly not a one dimensional bad guy, going as far to give one of his fallen wolves a brief funeral. His fighting style is one I can get behind quick. He overwhelms Shiryu with an absurdly fast Wolf Cruelty Claw and when he loses balance he goes in for a fatal blow. The first being... who would have guess it- another attack on Shiryu's eyes. I laughed when it occured because if you're going to try and force anyone to become blind for an advantage, Shiryu is your worst bet. We've already seen him fight without sight, he's learned the hard way through one of the saddest anime episodes I've ever seen(his fight with Ohko and the eps surrounding it) how to deal with blindness and heighten his other senses. That being said I hadn't expected Fenrir to dodge the Shoryu-ha, this fight looks like it won't be easy.

Side note: this ED has to be in my top 3 favorite ED's.

I like when anime fix things like that! It was nice to know what happened in that moment and it gave us some character development for both saints. Yeah... Shiryu is your worst blind enemy lol! I feel like SS OST is underrated. I love most of the tracks. It's sooo good :)
