| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Fuck yes parents taking charge! I'm happy for Ryuzo and Fusa! I feel terrible for Midori's dad. I really hope it's not too late to save her. He was quite the badass, though. When Azuna made Tojiro cry...I thought he was going to switch sides or something...but instead, he killed him. That...kind of angered me. :/ I really want to like him...but I can't. I don't know how I'm supposed to feel about him. noteDhero in the ep 20 thread said: Zing!The general or whatever is a pretty horrible character. He says things that would make you think that he is looking for redemption in one scene, and then turn around and be a heartless bastard in the next. Maybe the white haired people can't die from flesh wounds or something, that would be nice. Hopefully next ep will have more Akiyuki team and Nakiami team! They need to reunite ASAP. |

At least we know Blonde Assistant, is just in love with him (which I suppose I should have figured out), but still, it's getting towards the end, and I need answers. |

| Great episode! Azuna talked to Tojiro telepathically, isn't that only supposed to work with Xams or special humans like Nakiami and Haru? Back in like the first episode Nakiami asked Haru if she could hear the Xam so this leads me to believe only a select few can do this. Tojiro might actually unknowingly be a Xam/Human form and we wont find out till the end. Akiyuki's dad might already know since he was the one to "save him" in the past. |

| umm still on progress on the actual storyline itself i'm guessing this season is just like stepping stones for the next season. I hope we get some more akiyuki and haru airtime next time :) |
| Holy shit, the parents were doing some awesome stuff this episode Fusa (the mom) is pretty spunky. Kiss at the end was amazing. DeathfireD said: Great episode! Tojiro might have been the cause for his mom's wheelchair issue when (if?) he went berserk while Xam'd too. |

| Fuza reminds me of Haru. I don't know why but there is something about this show that I don't particularly like either it's lack of background info or just too much buildup. The show seems like it's building up to a midseason finale(I know no second season) it's just there is no background info and there are so many different plot threads that they could easily make this a 50 episode series, as I think they are trying to make this a war epic and they are cramming too much into it. |

Just as Fusa chased for Ryuzo, Haru chased Akiyuki. It's nice to see some romance in this anime. But I don't like that general. How did a woman fall in love with him.? |

| They're not explaining the conflict very well at all, in my opinion, and I'm getting tired of it. It honestly makes it hard to give a shit about whether so & so gets into the Sauron tower or not. Why is the South invading that thing, and why should I care? Hell, why are N and S fighting to begin with? What the hell is the Pilgrimage? I know I know, it's supposed to be like the Elves leaving Middle Earth blah blah blah.... But why does the white-haired dude act like the timing of the Pilgrimage and the Quickening are almost coincidental ("I'm not sure how this will affect the Pilgrimage?" umm.. sorry what?) If they start cramming too much random information into these final episodes, I'm going to be disappointed and kinda pissed. They wasted 13 episodes at the beginning of the show that could have been spent clarifying the war and the motivations. It's almost like the writers didn't know what the show was going to be about until the end, but I know that's not the case. Bad pacing, man. I don't care how good the ending is, this won't be higher than 8 for me. |

| There is a tag "action" for this anime. But I don't see much action in it. This is a slow and quiet. It has handsome picture but nothing besides it. Maybe anime must be shorter and more dynamic? Then perhaps it didn't became so bouring to the end... |
| Oh my gosh. Azuna lying on the bed with a pool of blood around him was such a heartbreaking scene. I don't know what to think about the commander. He's still a very interesting villain in the story though. OH SHIT! that hot kiss was like one of the best ones in anime history XD and lol, not the typical bishounen and pretty girl, they were old geezers in their fourtys :D I didn't think it would be that good to see! |

| I don't understand how Kakisu saw through Ryuzou's plan. As far as I know, Kakisu didn't even know Ryuzou was coming there. So what am I missing? Looks like most of the cast is going to be reunited in the quickening chamber. |

| I loved Azami, his scenes are so wild, hard to believe he and the other Jibashiri are siblings, he just feels like he's above them. Him telling the commander he isn't a bad person while narrating a scene of his past, so good |
