| Haha, I loved how the guys were all fired up by Chihaya's example. To me sports anime isn't about winning or losing but the group dynamics, and it was nice to see the team clearly united for a moment. But yeah, I feel this season's pacing is not as good as the first one's. Or rather that we don't really have great moments as often as in S1 (I don't mean wins but some sort of important character/game sense development). S1 had imo a cleaner arc than this season, where the team is just slugging through this tournament and I at least am starting to get "is it over yet?" vibes. Anyway, I hope Chihaya and Taichi will be able to see Arata in the solo tournament, otherwise that's just baiting :P |

| Oh snap, what a great episode to come back to! Guess Fujisaki's really something else ... I love the way their coach thinks and the way she trained them all, especially stamina-wise. It's not something you'd necessarily think about but is definitely important! Huh, so Rika's the type to give up midway ... she only likes listening to her grandma read! :P Oh gosh, Chihaya hurt herself ... that's not good D; However, as Harada said, it might end up helping her ... seems like Rika can't quite seem to focus as well since she's worried about Chihaya's finger. Good thing Chihaya can still attack and take cards though! Shinobu got forced into the spotlight ... and she remembers Chihaya! :D There might be a rivalry there after all ...?! ALL RIGHT STEP IT UP EVERYONE! LOL the "masma" thing was kind of lame but yeah, I get it :P GO GET 'EM!!! Although will Chihaya be able to compete in the individual tournament with her injured hand ...?! D: |
| I keep feeling worse and worse for Nishida his case, I really hope he wins this time. I hope Chihaya notices the queen in the next episode and shows her what she's really made of since she's already got her attention. I know I probably shouldn't sweat the small stuff but I thought it was cute how Tachi wanted to get up when Chihaya injured her hand. Even though there wasn't enough game-time to my liking, this episode did leave me at the edge of my seat for more, especially after the whole recap episode last week, looking forward to next week! |

| Injury working against the one not being injured is something i saw a few times in tennis. One player starts having problems and the other just loses that extra passion because he feels he plays with someone unable to play full and suddenly without wanting it he finds himself not playing any better than the injured person and a lot worse that he was previously playing. Lol that face.  |

| Lol'ed when Shinobu yawned and fell asleep XD Also laughed when the other 4 of Mizusawa stood up haha.. Seriously it's getting even more bullshit, it's not like you will win even if you want to, there is a limitation you know.. The opponents were totally overpowering them in all way, but if they managed to pull out a bullshit and win against them.. then.. I am speechless.. Seriously don't know why nobody is complaining about this. Chihaya injured her hand/finger, but she could still be that fast? That's as bull as it could never get, so overpowered? Duh plot reason, even injured, can be faster than when she wasn't, so awesome, anime logic /sarcasm Too annoyed by the repetitive sequences, random power up in the middle of the match, too focused on Chihaya alone, and unreasonable defeats for the opponent's team B class/A class players.. The prequel is better. And I was hoping to see Arata playing in this sequel more, but... was severely disappointed! I've seen much more better ones, the one here isn't much of a team, it was just all about encouragement in the middle of the match, nothing special, repetitive mayukachan said: If there's one thing I don't like about this show, it's that in every single tournament, Mizusawa always has trouble getting into the flow of the game and then in the last few minutes, they start to go badass. Especially Chihaya. | Chihaya injured is beginning to turn the game around in her favor, but how long can she keep it up. Eventually the pain will be too much and distract her focus or Yama-chan could get back in the game. I'm still confident Chihaya can pull though. Kana even though she isn't playing, her presence on the sidelines is helping Chihaya. |

| 5/5 Season marked by deeper introspection, all the characters are so complex that know its true nature, is a very hard thing; a bit as it happens in reality. Excellent these two components. Shinobu explores some aspects of Karuta, Chihaya but not remain in the background doing his part well for the protagonist of the series. Drawings and animations good, really badass sensei Midori of the Fujisaki. Rion seems to have less chance of winning than Chihaya, but if only she could figure it out. |

| Love the art for the poems - so lovely. Interesting how Rion seeks the equivalent of "perfect pitch" in karuta. I've always been fascinated by perfect pitch within music. Shinobu is always so damn awkward lol. |

| Shinobu's unique personality never failed to impress me everytime she shows up in a episode one of the well written character in this series, very likeable also even if shes main antagonist of the mc of this series |

| Rather slow beginning of the episode, too slow if you ask me. At least the artwork was great. Shinobu was cute, even if she fell asleep and sneezed on that guy's sleeve. It was disgusting, but whatever. xD It's Shinobu after all. Rion is an interesting character. I think she has Asperger's syndrome, looking at her behaviour showed up until now. |

| Of course, this Rion bitch is only winning cause her grandma is the reader. She wouldn't be playing so well otherwise. Though I'm surprised so little contact between Rion and Chihaya was enough to damage Chihaya's finger that badly.. seems almost superficial. Shinobu overseeing that match was cool and unusual. |
| As much as I’d like it if they did, I don’t get the feeling Misuzawa will be winning the tournament. Maybe Chihaya will get a win, maybe not. My hopes for the less are low, unfortunately. Fun matches, all the same. |

| Chihaya indirectly flipping everyone off with her other fingers fading away lol While I should be glad that Chihaya's scoring cards, the fact they're basically pity cards from Rion is kinda lame. Match isn't over yet so who knows, maybe she'll start getting intimidating again as a tournament "final boss". |
| Wow Fujisaki's coach is a powerhouse who knows her stuff and leads the team with so much precision, but Taichi & co standing up together was a great moment of unity, let's see how this will end. |
