| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- For the most part, it was a light-hearted episode and a change of pace from the previous few episodes. The ending really surprised me though, since they're going to have to fight eachother now. This is going to be really interesting considering that most of them are friends with eachother, and killing the person's child will make that person lose what's most important to them, considering what happened before with Akane who had her child defeated. It also seems that Takumi is in a bad position with Akira. This reminds me of Fate/stay night a bit. The rest of this show is going to get really good it seems. Can't wait to see how this works out with everybody. |

| I loved mai's latex/leather shinny police girl outfit she wore in this one. Most of them had outfits they were forced to wear while singing that would embaress them, also give the others a good laugh. |

| Omg this episode is so great (but quite a shocker at the end). The karaoke part is funny xD I love when Mikoto sticks her face on the glass at the chapel to get Sister's attention. Unfortunately I had gotten so into the show and reading so much about it that I accidentally learned about the HiME festival before watching this episode :( But still this is where things get super intense! Funny seeing how I totally didn't remember about any of this Akane/Natsuki stuff going on when I watched it the first time. |

| Yup, this is pretty much like Fate/stay night. And I liked that little moment of Natsuki and Nao looking at each other and kind of bonding, even more than the two of them laughing at each other. |
| This show really love to drop a bombshell at the end of episode, doesn't it? This is certianly the biggest one yet. Other than that it was a very funny episode as the all got drunk and sang karaoke in weird costumes. |
| Chill episode was definitely needed after the last one, the goofy shenanigans and SoL is what this show does best so I’m glad to have it since I wasn’t too fond of the previous episode, it’s almost hard to believe these are the same girls just took on a private army lol. The karaoke bit was particularly great, some of those outfits were quite wild, and I love when they take opportunities to embarrass the fuck out of Natsuki, also Midori and her shirt bursting chest was nice lol. I also like the aspect that Mai loves to sing, I found that pretty cute. But at the very end, right after the girls finished having a good time, Nagi finally unveils that he’s an asshole (always has been lol) when he let the HiMEs know they’ll be fighting their own Personas/Monsters/Children, perhaps this star isn’t as great as it seemed at first. There was also the bit with Shiho, she’s a HiME too isn’t she lol, took her long enough to come out as one, I did think it was sus how she survived that last orphan attack. And lastly it looks like Mai’s brother figured out Akira’s secret, and it appeared it was a secret he couldn’t live knowing but the preview clearly shows that’s not the case lol, I’m looking forward to seeing how their interactions go now. Glad the show reeled me back in this episode, episode 15 kinda lost me a bit but the girls being silly reminded me why I’ve been loving this show so far, of course there’s been lots of cool action moments too but I feel like the conflict of episodes 14 and 15 was just too grand a scale for what was believable in this show, I actually watched a show somewhat recently called “I Shall Survive Using Potions” that had a very similar issue half way through, but I liked that show overall and I think it’s the same case here. |
