| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- lol~ KajiKaji's character and Shimono-san's character are announcing some kind of race race!! The 3 characters from last two eps. are invited as guests for KajiKaji's character's house lol @ that wolf illustration when they were talking about that womanizer guy. Continuing with those three when they are traveling. Goukon at that period of time, too?! lol~ The woman is refusing that another guy's confession and said just do play of it. lol @ the poetry. Continuing with the race again, and his house. This time it's that guy who loves his sister. lol @ thinking about how she calls him (Uta Hen?). Host Club, too?! Those guys are acted as hosts!! KajiKaji's character and Shimono-san's character introduce childhood pair, and that guy speaks badly of the girl as always. Back to the race. lol @ that guy's bad doing. Last guest is the guy who appeared the first time, and "leader" of Mid Heian period. Him vs. KajiKaji's character with some kind of card game using poets because he said rude thing to KajiKaji's character, who punched him. When KajiKaji's character almost won, Yonaga-san's character suddenly appeared. Still in confused situation in the race. Next ep. is new pair. |

| Loved this episode!! My fav was Yasuko the Tsundere translator hahahaha Also when Narihara was saying the cups of each women til now rofl When Munesada said he prefers to be call onii-sama because it has a more forbidden feel to it lol XD And wth was that card battle, it was pretty awesome XD |

| That was... something different. But I liked it, well used to play card games so maybe that's it :) Plus looks like nice closing for one period and moving to another, I think that's the case. And lighter tone was good here, still I hope next episode it will come back to normal. |

| That was an excellent way to recap the first story arc. Tons of history, tons of great humor, all of the previous characters got some good focus. I'm excited to see what happens in the next era but at the same time I'm going to miss the characters from this group. . . Especially Narihira. |

| Well this is completely unexpected. I wished the series would have kept going with the new characters instead of keeping with the same 3 for the past 3 episodes. Looks like they needed filler. I understand if they wanted to make references to other shows, but it really didn't fit with the show at all. Dropped. 5/10 |
| Haha~ nice episode. The randomness was really funny. I guess it's like a "transition" into the next period of poetry. Pretty cool, and can't wait for all the new stories! I hope the original characters will be mentioned sometimes, because I'll miss them :'( |

| That card battle was awesome. I cant remember which game it reminded me of. It might of been duel masters :/ I cant recall. But as a yugioh fanboy hearing them say "Ore no turn. Duraw!" Was so aweome. xD And that host club knows. Anyone else Kyaa~ when Narihira was introduced? |
| Geh, wtf this ep, all over the place. Also that boring yugioh parody However, Sadaakira and Yasuko made this ep all the better for me. Lol how Yasuko just became his tsundere translator XD They were gold, and will always be gold for me. |

| Wtf was this, lol. It was mostly funny, but then they did the Yugioh segment a little longer than rest. I didn't dislike it, but yeah, I agree it was jarring and unexpected. |
| People who enjoyed this episode.. do you guys even expect consistency from the series you watch anymore? It's not wrong to enjoy episodes as if they are their own individual thing (as in enjoyment) as long as they've proven enjoyable, regardless of any form of continuity from the series as a whole. The whole thing about Narihira and Sadaie narrating the prologue, I thought it was just an "outside the story" short segment just to drop some info on the viewers such as us, but when they actually incorporate it into the story, or even took the whole episode to create this "filler", it just becomes annoying, and as some of you guys say, "jarring". Can we stop with the "I feel the need to insert jokes here and there even though it's completely out of nowhere just so that I don't bore the viewers" shit? Yet another terrible episode. Geez. |

| This episode was wild and hilarious. I also noticed the girl and that called out to Teika she also called out to him in the first episode too it seems to be hinting at his love story, maybe? they also hinted to her in the op and ed, can't wait until we reach his story. That host club made those characters hotter, making me feel things lol It also seemed to introduce a future character coming up in a future episode. |

| Very strange, the mood and the style shifted completely. As usual with anime comedy, I didn't enjoy it at all. Gone was the romance, gone was the philosophy. Instead we got parodies. Hopefully it was just this one episode. |
| Funniest episode so far, I laughed a lot xD I didn't expect Komachi to punch Narihira at all lol. Host Club Heian? Gosh I know that's how a host talk but I giggle when I hear them, it's so cheesy :'D Teika's Room is definitely my favorite new segment. I hope it will appear again in another episode! |
