is there seriously that much to write about such a dumb show?

I think there is yeah.
Dude, you could write a five page essay on a paper bag, I swear to God! XD
No way, I barely have time to write on most threads I follow the anime from. Really being random in my posts around.

Anyways, despite how terribly cliche and ridiculous this show is, I don't really dislike it. We could use a villain, a few more side characters (Sacred Seven. Wait, now I'm reminded of the magnificent seven...), a bit more of an explanation for this and that, lack of rushing, etc. I think what bugged me the most is that they threw in how Ruri met Arma, how the schoolgirl met Arma, AND Ruri's crystallized sister all in the same episode.
Despite what you said, at least they got rid of most of explanations. It might be hard to find out the dark stone bearer who petrified Aoi in the crystal.

The way I see that is, "Find the doer, kill him and undo what was inflicted." The problem is that they did not show if Medusa's petrification was undone or not. If they did then I would find it more plausible with the crystal scenario. Well one thing is sure is that it is a type of petrification so it may be possible to undo.

I am just hoping some dark stone bearers will turn good somehow. Perhaps if not then the crystal bearer with Alma is limited to contract with only one.

The possibility of getting more of these crystal bearers so as to turn all the dark stone bearers good like Ruri did with Alma could hinder the development or complicate things for this series so I say it wold not be good. Then again I am getting curious about how the plot will advance at this stage already. Guess I should wait for the half point.

I'm hoping this won't turn into a Power rangers monster of the week type deal....like others said, this week wasn't as good as last week.

At least next week we'll get some more Megaman X maverick hunters....I mean sacred seven lol

And what is that song played during the previews for next episode? thats the best song so far.

Ruri's cute, eyes are a little big, but anyway she's cute. And sky surfing is cool.

Reminds me of some anime like star driver which looks lame at first but turns out pretty good. I'm gonna stay and watch a few more eps :D

This is one of the anime that looked pretty good and I've been looking for this summer. So far, 2 episodes and I'm disappointed. Terribly and annoyingly cliched. Even Star Driver is way better than this.

Probably not going to drop it but this is one of the worst shows this summer I've seen so far.

Haha, it was all in good humor. ;)
Another thing I'd like to know is the history of the stones - e.g. how they got there and that sort of thing. Normally I don't worry about that in shows because I just wait for it to eventually be explained, but this one's so fast paced it has me worried it might just breeze passed explanations, the history of things, how they work, etc.

I was also thinking something like that. (Of course, they could just use some Soft)

I think we should keep it simple as the stones coming from space and being a life form out of this world. The history may come but at the price of revealing the species behind it. That could complicate things also.

I think keeping it simple that they come from space is easier.

This episode sure revealed a lot, maybe a bit too much like mentioned before.
Ruri and Arma together made me like this episode. Well now we know why Ruri is obsessed with Arma thanks to their history. Wonder when Arma is going to remember it.
And for Arma to transform, does Ruri have to stick a stone in him everytime >.>?

His stolen and thrown unshapped stone vs her sisters well shaped stone.. same color same more or less everything aside from being shaped .. chances of them being one and the same stone? fairly high

Along with the fact that we have the "hes forgotten a childhood friend" or something close to it with Ruri

the way i see it, Ruri is a b*tch.
first episode she's like INSISTING Arma to join, now she turns 180 degrees not wanting to force him to join. Same goes for the butler (which has opposite opinion)

Moreover, the hero and heroine are really bland. I expect Ruri to be more moe as she looks. I know I dislike moe, but she's plain boring with the ojou-sama demeanor.

and I'm sure Wakana's gonna be Sacred7's equivalent to Code Geass' Shirley >_>

I was srly looking for a new 'shounen' series this season, but i'm really really disappointed. First few epi are supposed to give the best impression but I don't know if I can continue anymore.

the only thing I like about this series is HELLBRICK. He cracks me up.

Actually as i see it is that it is actually bad. As writing goes it's pretty much a terrible work but since it has action and crazy staff is still not a completely horrible way to kill some time.

Yeah but it can still redeem itself if it goes on for 24 episodes.

What the, it ended just like that !? I'm thinking the battle could be longer I mean that thing is huge if it can be defeated so easily then is kinda awkward but nevertheless it was fine !!

god how is Ruri so short? she doesn't seem that young and she's not the typical annoying loli but she's so freaking short.

this show still makes no sense, and I don't know why they bother with the bad engrish at all. it's not terrible it's just still rather weird.

I was thinking the show would improve from the first episode, but it went totally downhill. I do find all the maids very funny/cool, but that alone obviously is not good enough to warrant continuing to watch this series. This show is way too cliche, and the fight this episode was not that good. I bet the butler guy is going to turn around and back-stab someone near the middle or end. I'll give it another episode.

Too cliched. Maid outfits make no sense, butler who graduated from harvard before his 18th birthday, the chosen special mainhero, hellbrick struggling for viewer sympathy.

And thats only the start of the list. Probably one of worst anime of the season for me. If he can megaman style chose any mode, i would much appreciate self destruction. Thank you, looking forward to that.

I liked the air fight.
And the monster looked awesome.

And I just realized too how small Kagami is compared to Alma.

Though the climax was really dull.
One shot. Really?
Goes to show you, one megabuster shot is pawnage! XD

Looking forward for the next episodes.

This episode felt like it was the grand finale, the final episode, of the show with the giant monster and everything. o.O The battle ended too quickly though.

And oh yeah, the Fullmetal Alchemist trailer was oh so A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!! >w<

Lol at people actually expecting something deep and riveting from this show. It's clearly aimed at some mainstream shounen audience with all its cliched bells and whistles. But of course, people would just rather bitch about generic shounen while watching far inferior generic harem bullshit and calling it funny and cute and entertaining.

Okay, so first of all I just gotta point out that for a moment there rich girl seemed to be channeling Jesse Ventura. No time for parachutes indeed.

We are so gonna have to clarify exactly what Arma's motivations are. I have no idea why he does anything.

Apparently Arma needs rich girl to activate his power every time. That's important. They probably should have filled him in on this.

I guess rich girl can use any kind of gemstone to do her thing, which means Arma doesn't really have to feel guilty about the momento. That was really just her own negligence.

Loving how huge Arma is. He's like some kind of behemoth. I bet that's diagnosable shit right there. He barely even fits through doors. Anyone else would be ducking because that slouch is clearly measured to have the doorframe just graze his hair.

Yet another instance of a ridiculously powerful student council. That's always fun.

still Sacred7 is a lousy excuse for a generic shounen..

why? cos generic shounen has more energetic character as male lead.

Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances.
He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter.
Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga.
Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month.
Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel.
The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck.
