| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I'm kind of not used to the character design in the animation (too used to the arts for drama CDs...) especially in OP clip, but it looks nice so far (story is nice). ED clip is slideshow to the drawing I'm used to (at least for those who have known drama CDs). It looks like "Evoked THE Beginning Black" part is the title to episode 1 though. |

| I have no idea why this anime is rated so low, but I though the episode was good. I have no real idea what's going on yet, but I"m sure it will be revealed with more episodes. Anyways I enjoyed it. |

| It was alright. Not sure what I was expecting but this wasn't it. Not that it was bad mind you, it was pretty alright. it's also not as gay as I thought it would be, not sure if I'm disappointed or extremely happy about that. Biggest surprise was the black haired one(who i think looks really girly) having a pretty manly voice I also laughed much harder than I should've at the girl calling him onee-chan |

| mmmm, I feel like I should drop this xD;; since it shows BL ..and whatnot but then again I can't be very sure anyways, it seems good even though I was laughing a lot when Spika confused Hokuto for a girl xDD LOL aside from that. the episode was ok, not the best nor the worst, but ok |

| This episode didn't really interest me much, it was hard to sit through the entire episode. The artwork is nice, I have a liking for that type of character design (sometimes). |
| I'm not sure what I have watched just now. They wasted a lot of time by doing nothing and trying to be funny... That scene with Nil getting hit by the spoon wasn't very funny. Didn't anyone notice that all the boys are wearing skirts? What's up with that? I had hoped to get more information about the setting and what they do, but... The introducion of their "powers" was just ridiculous. 3 of them summoned their weapons with... overly dramatic poses just to get beaten by a single hit. A very good way to show what powers they have! Two of them didn't even use their weapon, only the guy with his guns shot a few times, but I couldn't see if he just missed his target or if the enemy dodged his bullets. And after Nil activates his... power... they can defeat the enemy with just one hit? Come on! Well, I'll wait for the next episodes... |
| I'm really not sure about this one. It was fine, nothing great but not that bad either. I can't say I was disappointed since I didn't have very high expectations about this OVA anyway. I like the character design, yes, but ... the fighting (if you can even call it that) just ... sucks. And do I sense BL? Or is it just the effect of the four bishounen guys who seem to be wearing skirts? |

| lol! i really thought Nil and Hokuto were girls until the first time they spoke. Nil even longer XD why oh why are they wearing skirt? XD i thought it was pretty great! i love how they look. cant w8 for all the BL fanfics! XD and hokuto-neechan was waaaay too funny XD |

| To be honest I have seen worse...but considering that this is an ova and the first episode I didn't have many expectations for it. I give it some hope because the animation is amazing and I love the character designs. But it would help to have some background knowledge of what the plot is about. |

| XD Well that was unbelievably cheesy... Fairly funny in places though. I love the lighting in the school though =D it looked great. Still this kinda sucked XD It had 0.01 plot. |

| I hear... FINNY!! Hm. Characters are ok. Ugly uniforms... ugly hair (or color)... but I like all their eyes. Especially the black haired one. Such pretty eyes~ <3 Um. MAGICAL GIRL TRANSFORMATIONS. LOLOLOLOL!! Wtf moment for me right there. Then they got pwned... And the "onee-chan" ... that cracked me up. XD I also liked the ending. :D I think I'll watch this series. Seems interesting. |

The skirts are definitely a little weird, but I see them more as an extension of their tops/shirts. This is definitely has a very specific target audience...I mean come on, some people here are complaining about the BL vibes, but seriously, there was only one part, when Ulbireo took out Nil's sword, but he obviously doesn't see Nil that way. The only other parts with BL vibes was the ED :/ People need to calm down. The first half was nice, I really liked the slice of life feel with the calming piano bgm. Nil is adorable (KajiKaji~), Ulbireo is cool, Regulus is funny, and Hokuto is...cool too :D lol at the end when the little girl called him onee-chan. The action scene was enjoyable, but nothing too special, it ended really quickly too. Nil had trouble with pulling out his weapon in the manga too, probably because (1) it's too long for him to pull out by himself (2) he hasn't had a lot of training since he joined in later than everyone else. Overall, nice OVA ^^ |
| I actually don't understand why this OVA has such a low rating though.. You can't do much with a 22 minute OVA but I think they handled it really nicely. I enjoyed it. |
| Until Nil talked i thought he was a girl D: i mean you can't wear those pins in the hair and expect me to see it a boy xD hokuto too looks like a girl too, is ok, it doesn't bother me. The ova, it was pretty ordinary til the fight, i guess it was the most "Interesting" thing, magical boys >0< xD kinda.. they should have done less trivial-ism and develope more plot, it would be better. |

| The OP song is okay I guess.. That young boy with the white hair reminds me of Nai from Karneval. That Spika girl was suspicious from the start tbh. Anyways, this was pretty shitty. I have almost no idea what happened. 3/10. Oh well, at least the music was nice. |
