Spent too much of my life on anime. I can't draw but I write sometimes. I can sew and speak Spanish and Japanese, and I once jumped out of a moving car.
Briefly lived in Nagoya and oh boy are Japanese summers humid.
I make CMVs and AMVs. I've written research papers on the magical girl genre and my thesis was on the history of yuri and Girls Love.
My favorite genres are shoujo, historical, yuri/BL, gender-bender, mecha, and space opera.
I'm a fan of visual novels, especially otome games.
I have around 500 volumes of manga.
Ahh I see, a fellow Okami fan heh :P Tbh I only got around to playing it with the steam release in december last year, but I absolutely loved every single moment of it. Can't believe I had been missing out on such a gem for so damn long!
Handmade Okami clock? I'm guessing each of the Paint Gods takes one of the spots of the numbers on it? :o
The sad thing is, that it wasn't any kind of argument for or against the topic. As much as I hate to say it, I have to agree with the OP, but the argument is so badly biased in his favor that it makes the argument pointless.
It would be akin to trying to compare the value of all weaponry at the start of World War I vs the value of Unmanned Drones. The debate sounds cool, but is fundamentally flawed because of so many situational biases.
Hi! I’m Jackie from Otaku Organisation.
You have been invited to join our amazing club. It's a wonderful club that will soon grow in numbers and provide everyone with a friendly community. You are lucky because you've been invited to this amazing club! Just a warning we are still in our alpha stages so please enjoy and have a look around.
Did you end up going to the IA/WagakkiBand concert? I didn't go but at the Masqerade they had a short performance wayyy at the end so I figured out what they were then. xD
Hi, saw a few of your comments on mal and was gonna check out your profile and I was like.. wow, it says we have 80% compatibility in anime, haven't seen this much in a while now. But can't believe we watch about the same TV series as well (took a look at your blog link over there). Awesome taste you have, I mean it :D
Totally agreed with u on ur kyou, koi wo hajimemasu review but only for the amount of chapters u read. The first 20 or so chapters were just horrible but it got suprisingly a whole lot better. Answering ehat the person below me was pissed about, yes hibino does gain some character development. Also here is kinda of a spoiler but since u probably wont read and since most shoujo mangas do this, this manga has a "jump to the future" type of thing for its ending but its one of the best done out of the many that ive read.
Ohmygod I never thought that I would find a Whovian on MAL. XD Who's your favorite doctor? Anyways, what brought me here was your Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu review. It summed up my feelings completely. I dropped it after 34 chapters. After reading like a third of it, I was done. I was naive to believe that maybe...just maybe Tsubaki Hibina could have some character development---it didn't happen. Back to the main topic, I love your review. It was very good. Also, I love your profile picture so ridiculously much.
read your review of Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu and I belive you gave it to good of a review. I personally feel there should be a zero rating. but I'm glad someone agrees with my own feelings on the manga.
Yo! ^__< For Oniichan to Issho, did you buy the manga series or find it online? Because I only had the first 3 volumes and found up to volume 7 scanslated, but I doubt they're going to update this for quite a long time, but I want to finish it :( I'm indecisive on whether or not I should buy the rest of the series, because it'd be weird to have just volumes 1-3, then 8-11 like that in my collection... but I'm such a poor college student, I don't have money to waste on manga TT___TT
...and that is my lame predicament that I bear to you D: help? Ahhaha, sorry to bother... xD
