Does everyone in this show have super hearing? That doctor heard Seiya's whispers when he was dozens of feet away while they were in a packed stadium and in the previous episode, Shinryu heard that girl call to him during the match while she was way back at the entrance.

Also, surely someone else could have punched Shinryu to revive him? It's not like Seiya was the only warrior there.

I guess supposedly only Seiya knew the exact power he punch had and other punch differently with different power.

Seya was a hero, could save Shiryu. So everytime after Seya attacks, The attack groes, being more and more strong. Tought The logic, would Be become weak and weak.

That fight was one of my favorite I've seen out of Dragon Ball, Yuyu Hakusho, and Boku no Hero. It'd certainly make a top 10 fights list. The way this episode started, as the audience understands one hit could be the end for both of them, starting with that intense back and forth of close calls was crazy. I had to hold my breath, it was done beautifully. And the mirrored thoughts of "I just need to hit him once" and "I just need to block this attack" were sweet. One of my favorite parts was when Seiya closed in on the wounded Shiryu when he saw it was his chance(second time he hits him). You don't normally see characters take up advantages like that in battle shounen, especially not the protagonist, and it was cool.

I also want to talk about that ridiculous revival method. I've never seen one more hysterical. These are the rules for it if I'm correct:
1. Only person who can revive them is the person who killed them.
2. Has to be done within four minutes.
3. Has to be done on the back.
4. Has to be just as strong so that the blood goes back to their brain.
5. If struck too hard their heart will explode.
The sheer ridiculous nature of it is hilarious. It's definitely an asspull, right after we were convinced Shiryu died, he was revived, but I have to give props to its internal rules. At the very least, if Saint Seiya sticks to this structure, the only case someone can be revived is if their friend killed them, or if super asspull happens and someone can mimic the exact strength of the punch that killed them. Therefore, no one killed by a bad guy should be revived, unless forced to by the good guys. Potentially if that doesn't happen, if a bad guy kills a good guy, they'll be dead for good. And it also explains why only the specific knight who killed them can revive them, and not just anyone. So despite it being the stupidest revival system I've ever seen, it had pretty alright internal rules. If consistent, apart from being pushed on us in a cheap way, I can accept it.

I tell ya, Seiya has it rough. The man survives a life-or-death battle and then has to save his opponent's life while struggling to maintain consciousness. He definitely needs a rest after that.

Good to see Shiryu get revived, but, man, these guys are always getting critically wounded in this tournament.

Seiya punching Shiryu in the back to restart his heart was the silliest shit I've seen in a long time, I can't explain how much "punch his heart from the other side with equal force with which you killed him to restart his heart" made me laugh my ass off. What the hell is this goofy shit.
