YAY for Isako and Yasako working together, even if it was only a little bit!

Isako's awesomeness level went over 9000 when she was teasing Yasako about souls being eaten, I was laughing the entire time.

Next ep has HARAKEN and Isako with her hair down *_*

I love this show so much. It reminds me of that animatrix show where the kids found the broken space and were able to float and do all that crazy stuff. Love the characters too.

Couldn't believe that Haraken could control Sacchi!! Sit! Shake Hands! lol

Also, Harakens aunt is a hottie. I was surprised cause I really thought the person on the bike was a stalker. lol and kyoko is hysterical now that she's impersonating harakens aunt.

There is no "original manga" for this show, the anime is the original.
The novel came out before the manga, but the novel, manga and anime all have slightly different stories, and I tell you the manga (which has only like 1 chapter out or something) is better forgotten. It really sucks.

Dude, that's just a prewritten thing that is automatically put in the first post of episode discussions. ...Thanks for the interesting info though.

I, actually, don't get who and why created that virtual world accessed through special eyeglasses. This anime is somehow similar to animatrix, but virtual world was all arround in animatrix and it is just wrapped arround real world here.

I like the element of danger introduced in the past couple of episodes. I don't think Isako was being entirely facetious during her little "ghost story" there.

Oh and
"What the hell am I supposed to do with a third of THIS?!"
for the lulz...

The little kid Kyoko pisses me off, she's annoying as hell. But ignoring that, the show is fantastic.

Awesome episode. I liked the Isako and Yasako teamwork, even though it was very short-lived. And Kyoko still annoys the heck out of me. ._. What a terrible little sister to have... though Yasako was very sisterly, brushing dirt off of her little sister and asking her if she was okay...

Poor Fumie, expecting too much. XD What a shiny bald head though. I half-expected the gramps to be hiding a bar of solid gold or something under his wig...

"Stand like that. Spread your legs." "S-Stop touching me, you pervert!" Highlight of the episode for me. Man, I really notice the unimportant details.. Anyway, next ep.

That is actually so true! I didn't make the connection yet, but now I can only see this. Great observation.

I thought this episode was the least entertaining yet because I expected most of it and it wasn't surprising me like the others were. However, it still was a great episode and as somebody else said earlier, it does introduce some elements of danger, and you can foresee there's going to be interesting events in the next episodes.

It's crazy how I just feel like I absolutely need to watch the next one right after the one I just saw. The last series having this effect on me was Breaking Bad!

She's 4 and running around a strange city of course she's going to find dangerous situations. Laughed my head off when she was laughing at her big sister being stuck inside that room! ^_^

Am i the only one getting annoyed by the MC's personality? I mean all she ever does is ask questions and not even thinking about what to do to help. Really hate that kind of character.

Good episode again, focusing more on the distanced interactions between Isako and Yasako as they fell into one of Isako's traps that she laid out, even though both were on different missions essentially. Was a nice way to break the ice to a small degree after what's been an awkward, tense distance between them for the first bunch of episodes. Yasako sure did ignore whatever Isako called out to her a few days back though, probably just wants that out of her mind completely like it never happened? That'll be addressed more in the future at least, for now I did enjoy seeing Isako just bait Yasako with the haunted cursed creature bullshit lol. Yasako fell for that way too easily but then again, she's just generally a pretty naive kid in most ways.

Kyoko wasn't at fault before but she was now, she's got to learn from her mistakes that she's done many, many times now. Even if she's a kid, there's gotta be some boundaries, and she nearly died for it this time around if it wasn't for Isako by the end.

Other than that, I continue to enjoy the actual augmented reality environment and seeing kids just go bonkers in it. It feels very refreshing and intriguing as usual, even if it was more reserved in this episode due to the main two characters of the episode being trapped inside half the time.

Nice development regarding Isako-Yuuko interactions.I feel like Isako,as this expert hacker who's above everyone else we've seen, has a good reason to do all she does and that's gonna be a huge factor near the end.

I like the aspect of indirect ways in which cyber entities can actually hurt humans.First there was a malfunctioning of cyber-navi due to hacking, causing death. Now it's augmented reality leading people to places where they shouldn't be.This angle of slight danger is really good to see.

First, I'm fascinated at all the possible horror stories and superstitions that are only possible through new technologies. A sentient computer virus that could devour human souls? That's particularly frightening since in Dennou Coil and even in real life, everyone's constantly connected to some network, so there's always a threat of getting hacked. Second, I'm amused with Yasuko having to pose for Isako to get a better connection. Even in Dennou Coil, analog concepts of adjusting antennae still exist, huh.

Yuko doesn't have much luck with catching these illegals. She's like 0-2 right now.

So far I'm not a fan of any of these characters either. They all seem pretty annoying in one way or another.

According to a 2017 analysis, the mobile game Pokémon Go may have contributed to nearly 150,000 traffic accidents, 256 deaths and economic costs of $2 billion to $7.3 billion in the first 148 days after its introduction to the US only!
Children entering sewers and abandoned buildings that break down underneath their feet.

Dennou Coil has predicted all this in 2007. If people would have listened, then 10 years later we would not have over 256+ deaths.

So far, this show has been so good ! Everything is moving so smoothly, the arstyle is one of the best I've seen in anime (the backgrounds are so beautifully detailed and I love the chara designs), and I already care so much about the characters ! I don't want to get too excited for now but I have great hopes.
Now, there is a lot of mystery and we're starting to get some clues, but for now it is quite hard to connect everything. Also, I really wonder if Isako's whole story about the "doomed creatures" truly was just a joke. This scene has been made in such a way that it would be very weird if there was nothing to take from it other than Isako having a playful side to her (which is still something). What I believe is that at least part of what she said was true, but I'll see.

They discuss illigal. Her fan club. They are summoned. A hidden treasure. Shined like the dickens? Kirabug. Springtrap. She had them hacked. They start hearing the whispers in the fog. It’s distorted. A second try with the key. It runs off with the key. The whole building is filled with this floor symbols. She fell into her own trap. You know where.living bugs. She is unhappy. A cursed creature from distortion. The dead from the next world. They remember. Cursed methods. A suspicious story. An abstract joke. She breaks the mask to save a life. The illigal was full of living bugs. He is aggressively bald. The school. 4
