Episode 2 is out on Ani-One Asia. Raw also out.

Similar vibes to the first episode but Urmander is kinda getting on my nerves even in that suit. She's just way too bratty but her adventures continue with Uchimura. Compared to the first episode, they kinda make this look more like a monster of the week type of show, at least so far. Uchimura managed to make an negotation with an ogre so it looks like he's the type to use his brains than his fists. I guess Orl will be a mainstay in this show now too.

It was interesting to see Uchimura using past life knowledge and experience to negotiate diplomatic treaties, company management translates well to kingdom management I guess.

Ulmandra on the other hand was basically seethe(cutely) throughout the whole episode.

Welp aside from the subtext of the show being about company politics. It's looking to be a interesting Harem of ladies to pick from. That "assistant" in the early part of the show was a frigging dime, top heavy to the max. Though that orge girl is a weird mix being cute and tall. It's almost unsettling...

Edit:

the ED song is mighty catchy.

This one of the best of the anime I am watching this season.

I really like how they have him explaining business strategies and tactics.

Then how he applies them to this new world.

Hopefully they continue to write well and have a good story going forward.
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

Liking this one so far.Guess we'll have the bar every time Uchimaru think up a solution with his signature fixing tie move. Also cant miss the bartenders insight at the end.Only nitpick is the pacing was p fast at points felt unnatural.

I like the izakaya scenes, the BGM is always some Showa-era banger.

Also, Yui Ishikawa voicing a hot elf assistant is unexpected.

The adaptation so far seems awful.
The editing is sloppy, the animation doesn't match the sound, the ost is not bad but also not the best fit...
Yet if you somehow manage to overlook all those the story is decent.
It doesn't make a great deal of sense sometimes, but it's also not as bad as everything else makes it look.
This might be my junk food of the season.

That blue-haired girl who said she was an assistant is probably the general herself since she had the yellow bracelet and also lied to the protagonist, probably because she's some kind of reclusive researcher

Another fun episode!
Interesting tactic of our 'overseas manager' to convince the tribe to join the demon army.
Jealous Ulmandra is so adorable haha.

Sigh, Ulmandra could’ve been a way more interesting character if they didn’t just make her personality simping for and being in love with Uchimura. I like the negotiation aspect of the story, but if it’s just going to become a new harem member every week type of deal that’ll get old quick. Can we get some female characters who don’t just fall in love with Uchimura after one ep lol

I did like seeing more of Uchimura’s thought process when negotiating a deal and the izakaya scenes are a nice way to illustrate his approach. Making the ogre king feel kinda left out was brilliant.

Its a fun show about negotiation, Ulmander is definitely getting annoying, but I can see what they are going for with the gags. Loving the weird facial expressions though. Wish it was a little more political, maybe the anime is skipping some of the source material?

@Marinate1016 Well, Sylphid gave him the slip with that absurd lie about being the assistant and the General being MIA. LOL
She just didn't want to be bothered.
The Ogre King's daughter was both smart & rather forward, , it was a nice change. I think in this World, the women tend to love guys who can get things done, even if it's not just by aggressive force. Results speak louder than words.
So far, our guy is 2 ( actually more thanks to all those other treaties!) for 2.

Episode 2

I liked seeing that the protagonist is cunning in what he does, it's cool to see him putting into practice skills he learned in his past life in negotiations, not only that but he also puts the environment and people in place to facilitate the demands of his work.

The only unpleasant thing is that the anime seems to be forcing a romance between Uchimura and Urmander, and damn what a boring girl. This girl is such an annoying character

Its wish fulfillment but at least the MC wasn't a neet and was an actual hard worker so he kinda earned it / is earning it. I like these type of isekais where the MC has no crazy powers at all but has to use his brain

Not going to lie I think that episode 2 kind of falls off. It's turning into the generic formula we've seen 100s of times already. Just simple power scaling like in a shounen. Then they throw harem into it. I want to call this awful but I get that there is a target audience for this. We can call this your typical generic anime slop of the season. I'll definitely be dropping it at this point. They tempted something mildly original in episode 1 and threw it all away in episode 2.

Disappointing

This is a good watch. Episode 1 though will make you think this is another slop.

So far, I like it because it is somewhat educational. I'm just afraid nothing will challenge the MC, but there's a hint in this episode that there will be. We'll see.

Looks like Olalus is a waifu with sexy skin. Ulmandra is so jealous. lol

@nestharus Power scaling? Generic slop?
I think there's enough good ideas here that doesn't make it a slop.
It's not a harem (yet).
MC is not OP and isn't dumb either.
Also, usually harem members in these animes are labeled as main characters, which isn't the case here, so it gives me hope it won't be one.

I would say that the other isekai, with the noble and magic, is a far more of a slop.

@Miyu-Miyuri I agree with you. I didn't give that one even one episode :p. I'm a very harsh critic. Don't mind me ;D. I've watched way too many. If this doesn't do what I think it'll do I'll get proven wrong. I just doubt it. This just looks like a series of challenges like the parry anime and others like it. Instead of a family we've got a harem. Both are bad /shrug. Just seems like this is a reskinned clone and I don't care to see anymore of it :).

We've got Fate (see if that maintains steam) and Zenshu so far. The marriage one may be good but so far painfully boring :/. This just isn't one of the winners and the current 2 winners could always flop. Anime and media are just harsh :).

This show* is so simple and the pacing feels quick it's quite boring. The "politics" are so basic that there isn't much to keep you engaged. Characters are okay but a bit basic too, the show definitely needs something more.

So far, two episodes into the show, I am thoroughly enjoying it.

The MC is smart and stands out by making girls admire him without degrading them in the process. He doesn’t shy away from new challenges, despite being visibly scared of the demons and demihumans around him. His dedication to his work takes precedence over everything else, and it’s clear that both the new girl and the resident demon chick with a fiery temper have developed their own admiration for his capabilities.

The plot of the episode was very simple yet interesting. It really puts you into the shoes of a negotiator and how they think. It also breaks the stereotype of thinking that salesmen are always crafty. Love the dynamic with the red head.

Usually I like everything Isekai, but for some reason this anime annoys me to no end.

I did read the manga, and the anime is following exactly, but the acting, the voicing, it enhances more of all the annoying things I didn't like from the manga, LOL 😆

Can't deal with this anime, dropping.

Too cringe. 😂

Uchimura going to see his next client, and that is the Ogre Tribe. Of course, Ulmandra accompanies him since he still doesn't know what to do, and meeting the big boss of Ogure to demand unreasonable terms right from the get-go, Uchimura clearly knows how to play the waiting game, but the request from his own daughter Olulu to request them to denounce her father due to his illness, and then to take things another step by integrating him into the Ogre Tribe with marriage, it's a deadlock of the tribe's existence.

Uchimura's realization of knowing how to settle Ogure's account by reeling in smaller corporations to challenge his big guns, that's the same approach he did with Olulu's connections to entice the smaller tribes to join the Ogre Tribe for an alliance, it's proved to be the negotiation that will help reinforce the tribe for the changing times. But Ulmandra misunderstanding Uchimura's partnership, to only have Olulu come in to be part of it, the Demon Army is growing bit by bit.

Still a rather slow burn, but it's progress.

Poorly paced, badly animated censortrash. If you found any interest into the plot or characters then just read the manga instead. Good art, better paced and no censorpiggery that even goes against world building stuff. Dont support this slop

Sorry but I don't speak or write English;

very good episode the protagonist gained more confidence, the ogre girl will spice up the protagonist's relationship with the dragon girl;
jealousy will make the dragon girl take the initiative.

This is all rather of simplistic, but it doesn't bug me that much yet.

Olulu's proposal of marriage seems like it might be a legitimate historical strategy for solidifying an alliance.

I wonder if working as a subordinate like Olulu, or an equal like Urmander, puts one in a better position to get romantic with Uchimura.

High quality so far without any noticeable quality drops.
This consistency is allowing for the story to just... Run.
Which is overall immersive to the source's experience. I like it, its well directed and produced.

Nothing extremely hard hitting. But, faithful. That's what counts and everyone should stick around for that.
