| Pretty chill episode with some lowkey flex on the course, but as usual, Tonbo just bing chilling so she doesn't care about her overall score. Now i have to struggle for 7 days again until Episode 4 ._. |

| Love this show so much. I feel just like the other characters watching Tonbo. I can't wait to see what kind of interesting shot she takes next. Much like them, I have no idea if the shot will turn out great or if it will end up buried in a bunker, haha. Also, Tonbo leveling up by adding a new club to her arsenal. I wonder how long it will take her to get a full set? |

| Glad that Tonbo really enjoyed herself. No surprise that everyone else was surprised about that way Tonbo plays golf. I understand where Hinoki is coming from, she has been trained by elite golfers and all of a sudden sees someone doing well by throwing the book out the window. I really liked the end of the game where Hinoki was cheering for Tonbo, they will probably become good friends at some point. |

| An 8 for me - so far. Previous season was a 9. Made me realize that Igarashi was an important person for me in S1. Both (Tonbo and him) were important and the background story there was great. Missing this a bit + it seems like the "parting gift" (title of episode 3) means we'll get to see Igarashi a lot less (or not anymore at all)? Thought he would get to be the main coach of Tonbo. (But maybe he will get more important again later and appearing with her at tournaments while for the day to day training the other guy is there.) The stuff with the other girl (strict father) can be interesting - and the whole "for fun" and "taking it more serious" thing - where both girls played golf for totally different reasons and the other girl seems to mainly be pressured by her father. (Maybe being able to actually enjoy golf as sports now that the encountered Tonbo.) Needs some time to develop - might be able to make me up the score to 9 again if it goes well. |

| Tonbo's unconventional golf is starting to rattle everyone, including Hinoki, who feels the pressure to deliver even more with the heavy wind. Igarashi coming in with his parting gift of a driver to her, the price may be cheap, but it's the skills that maketh the shots, and it delivers just the same as using the other clubs for the outcome. Clearly, Tonbo has had experience on the island facing similar conditions, and this heavy windy course is no different with her unorthodox stances. As the shots has the golf balls inch closer to the hole, Hinoki tries her best, but it seems that losing to Tonbo comes more evident, no matter what shots the latter took that it becomes a fierce strife. Everything is second nature to Tonbo being scenarios that she's done on Hinoshima time and time again, and the thrill of the ball being the thing that excites her all the same without any care for the scoring. Tonbo is special, you've gotta give it to her for that. |
