@LostSpectre Well, 1st of all, they're only 5yrs apart. I've seen worse (I have my eyes on you Honzuki no Gekokujo!!! Still my fave LN of all tho. wwwww). Secondly, the set is medieval, so.... And lastly, this was made by japanese for japanese, and we asians (I'm from SEA myself) tends to have very different way of perceiving age and romance compared to westerners, so.... I mean, this was not the 1st, it won't be the last either. This wasn't even the worse. For example: have you read Clamp's Cardcaptor Sakura?

That said, it's absolutely true that the Western high culture is one of the most prudish that ever existed. The scene as such wasn't good, but I'd only have issues with Alicia kissing Duke if I had issues with ten-year-old girls kissing, which I don't, or if I had issues with the age gap, which I don't. |

| Woah, that was quick! I know Alicia wants to be a villainess, but she is ironically becoming more and more of a heroine with antics of a villainess. She's a gifted in swordfighting, and she'll be a giften magic user even before she enters the academy. ETA: Whilst watching the OP for Episode 3, we see her walking alongside the Prince and the boy she saved. It's possible that will be the love triangle. If not, at least close friendship. |

| This villainess isn’t exactly the sharpest. She goes out at night, through a monster-infested forest, straight into a town full of ex-criminals—not the brightest move. And as if things couldn’t move any faster, Alicia has already mastered magic with almost no effort and even got the Prince to kiss her to “feed her medicine.” The story feels rushed, moving at a breakneck pace. I’ll be keeping my expectations low from here on out. |

I enjoy the indignation from sheltered youngsters who uphold the rights of fictional characters in different worlds with different laws and customs, it reminds me never to express an honest opinion to anyone under the age of 50! Have you seen the weekly rants in the ‘Do Over Damsel/ Dragon Emperor’ anime? They’re practically exploding with fury because there’s a 17(?) year old emperor engaged to a reincarnated 16 year old in a 12 year old body. There’s actually good reason for all this, but they just see the numbers and lose it…

| Alicia, in the discernment of becoming a villainess...encounters a badly stinking Loana village, and a man named Will who was banished for disobedience. It certainly is a water-shed moment between the two as Alicia grows over the years and the timeline of the game is slowly coming up to her 10-year-old self, and the romantic intricacies become all the more nuanced...or the villainous traits instead, I wonder. But if there's one thing holding her back, it's her family treating her like a child because it's common knowledge across the Five Great Noble Families of her true abilities, that it'll be a gamble if anyone tries to win her. Back to the village, and Alicia witnessing a poundering of kids from adults, with Will prohibiting her to act further since she is a child. Loana being in dire straits, and the much-needed help coming from a wannabe villainess, wants to follow the game's plot and become Level 100 with the hero of Prince Duke. And by presenting herself in front of the King and the Five Great Noble Families, Alicia runs her mouth, knowing the benefits and consequences if she decides to go against the system. Welp, for Duke to take advantage of Alicia in her worst, what an uncouth Prince at that. |
