| It's kinda refreshing. It's been awhile since I've seen a monster school type of show (maybe outside of Iruma-kun) in recent seasons. This was obviously adapted for humor as Abe is the new instructor. Lots of characters introduced and plenty of personalities. The animation also looks simple but clean imo. There's going to be a lot of humor coming from this with comedy already appearing in this opening episode. Fun start. |

| Female mangaka Mai Tanaka's fantasy gag comedy of her lone series getting an anime adaptation a decade later, courtesy of Satelight in yet another 2-cour series, it's clear that Tasuketsu was just a side project for this rather ambitious, more favourable project. Also, if this show has similarities to that of Marimashita! Iruma-kun a.k.a Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun, you can thank Mai Tanaka for inventing the formula first so that Osamu Nishi's series can walk the talk, or at least be inspired by Yusei Matsui's Ansatsu Kyoushitsu a.k.a Assassination Classroom to come up with this idea. Five Eight 48's OP is quite the upbeat song to match Marimashita! Iruma-kun's Season 1 OP. Yuika's ED is just OK... For teacher Haruaki Abe, coming to a school for ghouls that's just like him being like Iruma-kun, Hyakki Academy certainly is not for the wimpy adult of his, most certainly not to the Yakubuyougami that is Mikoto Sano. Most students are human, or that they can shapeshift into humans, that Haruaki must steel his resolve to actually teach a class on his own two feet after being chased out of human schools all the same. His roll call on the first day of work to call a female zashiki warashi student for a class photo, both Sano and Mamekichi Maizuka accompanying him to find Beniko Zashiki, he unequivocally managed to enter her house with his power, finding her being busy in being a NEET to encourage her to come to school to see her wearing a sailor uniform for once. Turns out, Haruaki is the descendant of Abe no Seimei, the ghouls' enemy that's help them to change for the better, which explains his demon-expelling power. But Haruaki getting more blamed for being a pervert more than anything. Haruaki's Class 2-3's first achievement of getting a class photo out, will he be a blessing or a curse to Hyakki Academy from this point on? |

| So, basically what I got from this episode is that it's gonna be a mix of Ansatsu and Iruma-kun eh? I'd say more like Ansatsu tbh because of how they both while seem funny and are, have some wholesome moments mixed in there. Which is some of the best parts of Ansatsu, so I love this already. Poor teacher and stuff yeah lmao. Fun start, I'll be looking foward to this one going forward. |

| I wanted to give a pre-emptive 8/10 as it's so much fun, but the trying to get girls in to [proper] sailor uniform because he has a [female] uniform fetish grossed me out to the extreme. I don't know what the age of these ghouls are, but regardless he is a position of power and that's wildly inappropriate. I knew he had special spiritual powers since the very start because of the beads. 4/5, lots of fun and look forward to more. Would of been 10x funnier if he bow'd into [used] panties and not a sports bra hahaha. Double the misfortune, double the fun! |

I enjoy Yokai stories, especially lighthearted ones. But man the protagonist is very annoying. Hope he’s starts to chill out as things progress.

| Shows with Youkai are always a lot of fun, specially it they are lighthearted and comfy, I keep forgetting the name of the Gashadokuro, those are always super cool, Zashiki is a cute girl as expected and Maizuka is super chill. |
| I’ve been sticking with Satelight’s show from summer this year “Tasuuketsu” despite it being a pretty average show, kinda regret it but it is what it is lol, and I saw they’re doing another 2 cour show this season but this one is more up my alley and it’s fitting for the spooky season, so I figured I’d see how it is compared to Tasuuketsu and I’m happy to see that this one definitely has a better production and more care put into it, and the show itself is quite fun too. Our MC Haruaki is quite easily spooked so putting him in a school full of ghosts should lead to some wacky shenanigans, and there were some good bits but I was surprised to see he stopped being spooked kinda quickly, I’m guessing that will change as he gets to know each student tho, it just so happened the student who got focus this episode, Zashiki, isn’t very scary and just a gamer lol. And I see some folks upset with Haruaki’s uniform fetish, I personally don’t see anything wrong with it because I think that’s a pretty common fetish, I guess the big stink is that he’s a teacher but it’s a TV show, ain’t no real students are being subject to a horny teacher here, just fake youkai students lol. And the students themselves all look quite unique, I’m looking forward to learning about each one, especially the deadhead girl, I wanna know her story for reasons lol. Also it’s really cool to know this series is 10 years old and getting an adaptation after all this time, 2 whole cours even, it hurt my soul to see that 10 years ago is 2014 but yeah that’s awesome lol. And I really like the OP and ED, OP is very hyper and has a lot going on but it’s a lot of fun, and the ED being more chill contrasts well with it, I really like Yuika’s song too. |

| The first episode of "Terrified Teacher at Youkai School" masterfully addresses themes of bullying and social reclusion through a humorous lens. Set in an enchanting, spiritual out-worldly setting , it introduces a teacher—descendant of the legendary Abe no Seimei—unaware of his own latent spiritual powers. The youkai students, despite his awkwardness and the misfortune brought on by youkai powers, seem to warm up to him, adding more comedy through his misadventures. In the second part, the teacher endeavors to bring back Zashiki, who has turned into a reclusive NEET addicted to gaming. His initial motive is to rid himself of his bad luck, but his genuine concern shines through. Misunderstanding Zashiki’s true nature and reason, he faces her violent side.. Her character mirrors Maki Zenin in personality and design and clothing. Ultimately, he succeeds in bringing Zashiki back to school, capturing a class photo with all students, though his luck appears to worsen.  |
| I honestly didn't have too high expectations going into this one, kinda seemed like an anime where the main character would just overreact and wine all the time. However i really enjoyed the first episode, much more than i was expecting. I'm still a bit concerned that Abe won't grow as a person, to keep the comedy the same, but as long as his overreacting doesn't become worse i can probably deal with it fine. Also a bit surprised they revealed the deal with Abe as early as episode 1, would expect him learning about that to be a main plot point going forward. I already love Maizuka so much, he has such a good energy and vibe going. The school was also pretty cool, but man would it be cold in the winter. What a wild OP, i couldn't even follow what was happening half the time |

| I'm going to keep watching this, but the comedy was a little abrasive at times (especially the school uniform fetish) and felt a little rushed. Hopefully it calms down a little next episode onwards. |
