| A twin sister! But seriously, this episode has important background storytelling about Utsuro. Even though she is introduced this season, it seems they want to establish her as a character worth investing into. Not going to lie, this episode had that familial and serene feel even with the Tokyo battle going on in the present timeline. |

| Nice backstory. So far, I have liked this season better than the first one, which is surprising. Somehow the story is just more interesting. I hope it stays that way. |

| Kufufu is back for more deathly ambitions, and Teru and the Heroes are literally faced with the trolley problem enough to warrant saving a train full of mannequins, Teru acting like Peter Parker from Spiderman 2 with the train-saving heroic gamble, only to be elicited humour from Kufufu, as well as the bond between her and Tzveta for Pepesha to deal with. Regardless, it's best to leave Kufufu with Pepesha whilst the others going ahead to face Amamaririku, and Ai's realization that the kids of said evil organization can be saved, it's the same with Utsuro: her real identity being Ai's twin sister Mai Tennoji. The katanas of Heart Blade Purity and the God Blade Nihil that represent the shinobi village of Soga, it also represents the difference between Ai and Mai on their worldviews, as well as Takimaru coming from the village next door to want to serve the Tennoji family, starting with Ai. The twin sisters, plus Takimaru and the bear that Mai befriended, things were actually going well, that is until the decimation of the village from Mai's hands that almost killed Ai, that she has to deal tit for tat against her, but with heart. The battle to save hearts will not be easy, and Teru and the Heroes will fight hard. |

| Finally my babies are back I missed them last week for that Olympic break! Can’t believe they tried doing the Spider-Man train stopping method lmao. All’s well that ends well I guess since there was no onboard the train and it ended up being a decoy. Holy shit they cooked with the Ai and Mai backstory! Shy always does flashback episodes so well and this was one of the best we’ve seen. Two Katanas handed down from generation to generation with one leading people down the wrong path, gee I wonder what could possibly go wrong lol. I was kinda surprised that they ended up being biological twins, I thought it was some magic involved or that Main was the literal other half of her heart.. now the chest injury makes a lot more sense It’s interesting how Ai and Mai had such differing views on the future of the shinobi village with Mai preferring the good old burn everything down approach and Ai being more conservative. Mai being the more talented and naturally gifted of the two adds a nice bit of irony. I like how Tokimaru coming to the village was such a big deal for Ai because it was like for once she was finally able to have something over her sister and he’s like nope, I serve her too 😂 So we’ve got the lore with the shinobi sisters and Kekekera vs Pepesha set up.. can’t wait for the next episode |

| I figured that the trains had mannequins and that Kufufu was messing with them but it was better to be safe than sorry. Regarding the flashback between the twin sisters, I thought that it was well done and I'm surprised that Mai stabbed her sister which was definitely attempted murder. Also it looks like she killed the bears and possibly other villagers so I'm curious how she comes back from that, if she does. |
| Glad we got confirmation on Mei being Ai's twin and not some kind of split personality or doppelganger type of thing. That backstory went from wholsome to super dark quickly. RIP to the bear they grew up with |

| I'm actually enjoying S2 more! Shinobi arc turned out better. I don't blame the sister here. She's definitely manipulated. Someone who sees value in an insect, wouldn't go murdering people (and a friendly bear!). I'm glad the joker girl was... Joking with train. She wasn't really risking killing people. Seeing that, I'm all for peaceful solutions and talk no jutsus. |
| Teru mcguire gave her all to stop the train. Pepesha might be able to save Kufufu since she is Tzevat's daughter. The flashback didn't introduce nothing of value outside of Tokimaru having the scarf that suppossedly Ai gave him before meeting Ai. |

| I had a feeling Kufufu had no one in the train. Ahh past dialogue threw me off. Didn't expect Mai to be Ai's twin, I thought she was literally some part of her. That is interesting that Mai was the one who was more gentler while Ai is the one who wanted to do all the shinobi stuff. I do wonder if Ai killed the bears though, not sure if the bears hurt someone or if someone else hurt the bears. |

| What's this? Spiderman lol? Felt nostalgic watching that. Kufufu as annoying as ever though. Ai's backstory was the cliche tragic backstory for this kind of story with someone betraying the village and mc chasing them to get revenge or save them in this case for whatever reason. |

| This episode was quite engaging. Kufufu sure put egg on our heros faces with that mannequin train stunt. But I think Spirits heart should be enough to bring her out of the darkness. Ai's backstory also doesn't seem to be as simple as a clear and cut betrayal from Mai. Especially with that ring on her finger. When and how she got it will be an interesting reveal! |
