so we finally get confirmation that noir is indeed a magus type zero. i wonder what kind of power she'll have when she's fixed/gets her memory back.

figures that claudia wouldn't actually split the profits and would betray kanata. but it was a good learning experience and training session for him, so at least he got what he originally wanted.

so far the plot has been mostly episodic, so im hoping there will start to be a more continuous plot connecting the episodes other than just noir having amnesia.

I'm quite stressed when Tokio leave his position to help Kanata, the Enders could come through Tokio's route.

Got to see some new renders of the world outside of the Nests.. more drifters, more cradle-coffins too.. But the plot itself was a bit weak.. fails to create anticipation for future episodes.. May they will have continuous plot [instead of mono-episodic events] after a few.. They still have 5 months.. lets see..

by her looks it was pretty obvious that it was a trap and claudia would escape with all the crystal.

still, nice chapter.

Claudia could betray me any day of the week idc lmao. Mommy dommy.

It wasn’t all for nothing, though. Kanata learnt some valuable things about what it means to be a drifter, as well as Noir, Type Zero Magi and the world as a whole. If he wants to get better as a Drifter this is just part of the process. It’s a long 24 episode journey so these things are going to happen.

We also got a name for their mech, Daisyogre. Interesting name for sure, but it also fits given Noir’s kind, beautiful and gentle nature just like a daisy.

Hope we see Flamme and Claudia again 😩 really good episode

From the moment Claudia made her entrance, I sensed she had that alluring femme fatale aura. She didn't waste any time in showcasing her charms to captivate Kanata.

Thankfully, Claudia turned out to be more of a cunning and mischievous character, akin to Fujiko Mine, when she ran off with the crystal, which she had initially agreed to share equally with Kanata. Lol.

Even though Claudia took the crystal, we received valuable confirmation from Flamme that Noir is indeed a Type Zero, possessing her own Magus Skill; she just needs to remember what it is. Moreover, Flamme finally christened Kanata and Noir's Coffin with the name "DAISYOGRE".

it was already confirmed she was a type 0 when she connects with the coffin in episode 1, on one of the little pop-ups with her Info on when she connects it says Noir, identification code 0

I like the pacing so far, should leave plenty of time to get to know noir better ^^ also wonder if that holographic daisy chain thing will end up being a main feature of noir's own magus skill. Nice ep.

Claudia was an interesting character. She gave off Fujiko vibes but I don't think she is that awful of a person. She did help him gain confidence after all. I really like this show.
I haven't updated in years but now I have changed that. I'll be free soon.

Can we trade places with Claudia and Flamme for beta male mc and his souless boring kudere sidekick? At least scoundrel Claudia and Flamme have more appeal than any other couple introduced so far.

I knew she was a scammer the moment they struck that deal. Either they want a 90:10 split or make a fake deal and cut a fast one with the entire haul the moment they get the chance Lol.

Ngl the episodes are kinda entertaining but we need more plot progression, this episodic junk ain't cutting it

Flamme and Noir frolicking around in the field of daisies was cute.

Daisyorge is an interesting name for a mech.

That "Magus Skill" is utter bullshit imo.

So, we have developed technologies which allow building battle robots /mechs that humans operate. That's fine.
We have developed cybernetics with ability to create androids, so called "Magus" which also used as a co-navigators for humans, that's also ok.
Some AI creatures went out of human control, replicate independently and raid human cities? Cool..
All is totally logical and believable within the "advanced techno civilization world" concept..

But now some of those "Magus" are able to project their virtual bodies outside of battle robot and destroy enemies with "magical" energy blasts? lol

I really liked this episode even though they got scammed. I also really liked Claudia and her Claudia's, and I hope we get to see more of them in the future.

Daisyogre is quite the name, but it actually sounds pretty good for a mech. It's a lot better than something I could come up with.

I also like the idea of Kanata training to get better, and I like that they allowed him to have a little bit of combat success without the help of Noir, as well as without making it a groundbreaking success. Speaking of Kanata, while there's a lot to be displeased with about him (such as the typical MC stuff in this type of anime, which is watchable to an extent), he's actually not that bad. I don't think he's the "beta cuck male" that a lot of people make him out to be. That description for any character is quite ridiculous to be honest.

This is the saving grace of the episode IMO, it is like episode 4 and we are still only getting to know the characters, it is kind of slow.

Claudia taking off with the Crystal popped into my mind at first, then it went away as the episode goes on and it shows how genuine She and Flamme felt. So it was kind of both reassuring and a tiny bit shocking she made away with the crystal, it was complexity lacking in other episodes so far. Kanata's reaction to it is somehow very him but also very 1-dimensional in comparison, and my biggest gripe with the series...

Kanata's training seems to have gone quite well.
The new characters, Claudia and her type zero Flamme might have bounced at the end, but at least they helped Kanata learn a bit.

The MC gets teased by "boing-boing"... this is especially funny cause just last episode he was about to go for actual "boing-boing". (even if he was sorta dragged to it, he still stayed and about to head in)

.

Also, for "digitally printed food", why did they still make it look like a piece of fish in the middle of the sandwich? couldn't make it like Tuna salad or something? LOL

And I noticed Claudia keeps on bending forward, which highlights her half-covered ( \ Y / ) and keeps on making Kanata blush, LOL. Feels like she might be doing this on purpose.

.

Hmm.... so Noir's past owner was a old dude? And the original "coffin" she was on was called "Ogre", hmm...

Out on a training mission, and Kanata's trying his best to rely on his own Coffin, though that got superseded by an unknown Coffin, one similar to Schnee as a Type Zero Magus but with the Magus Skill of fire: Claudia with her Magus Flamme. Other than the boing boing criteria which Claudia has, finding an AO Crystal right smack in the middle of a daisy field that needs help in extraction, releasing it would attract Enders, though this is also a sacred place that should be best left untouched.

Like Flamme, Kanata now also knows that Noir is yet another Type Zero and keeps their end of the deal at nighttime. Even as both Claudia and Flamme cheated them both, Noir has a new name for her Coffin: DasyOgre.

Kanata needs more training...

In the latest episode, we saw some interesting developments. Kanata, inspired by Kurokamen's abilities from the previous episode, decided to take initiative and apply for a job to exterminate Enders. It was a challenging experience for him, and his anxieties definitely got the best of him. Luckily, Claudia and Flamme unexpectedly came to his rescue, adding a fresh twist to the story.

I really liked Claudia and Flamme as new characters. Claudia is passionate and assertive, while Flamme is mischievous and adorable. They brought a lot of charm to the plot, and I'm curious to learn more about their backgrounds. Kanata accepted Claudia's task to mine crystals, and it turned out to be a nighttime battle. He showcased his intelligence and achieved some success, but Claudia had tricked him, leading to wasted resources and no rewards. It was definitely a lesson for Kanata, and he learned from it.

The episode also touched on Noir's identity, but it left us with more questions than answers. There was a brief memory flash during a conversation with Flamme, but it didn't provide much insight. However, Noir did express the significance of Kanata, which added another layer of intrigue to the story.

Overall, I felt that this episode was a bit lackluster. It didn't progress the main plot or the romantic subplot significantly. Instead, it served more as a prelude, introducing new characters like Claudia and Flamme. Though the last-minute twist saved it from being completely boring, I hope the next episode will bring more thrilling plot developments and propel the main storyline forward. I'm still excited to see how Kanata and Noir's stories unfold, so fingers crossed for some exciting episodes ahead…

Claudia's hot, liked her and knew she was gonna pull something like that. Still way better than her turning out to be an antagonist cause that'd be a waste as I like her. Hoping to see more of her.

So Synduality is a mixed media project? The video game isn't released yet, but this episode seems like a rough demonstration of how the gameplay will be, so I might actually buy it at some point.

Claudia's quite foxy, but Kanata's admittedly the sort of guy she could easily mess with.
