This episode covers some of the best chapters of the earliest parts of the manga. I really enjoyed reading them before and the anime did justice to the events.

Fuwa and his grandson are really a**holes down to the core. They really deserve some beatdown, hopefully Fuwa will get some too as he has been such a pain even during Hayato's grandpa's time (maybe he was a romantic rival and Hayato's grandpa got to marry the girl). But yeah, it won't happen as long as Hayato is around.

Hayato being the sigma he is, protected Ouka's work and made that tactical confrontation and making sure it won't happen again in the future - also creating an everlasting image for Ouka, the Mad Dog. Welp, Ouka remains the tsundere that she is. This is probably why she remains the least favorite (5th place) out of all the 5 goddesses as voted by the fans. Though it is admittedly accepted that she is the heroine of the story somehow.

Shiragiku fell victim to alcohol again with her very low tolerance to any alcohol in her system. Her low tolerance against alcohol is so bad that even wet wipes can get her drunk.

Ami also remains the baka of the group but with ridiculous strength. She just used her karate mastery with a bit of Ryuu's street fighter moves (and missiles on the side).

Looks like the next episode will have Akane under the spotlight. (this will explain why Akane is one of the best bet for Hayato according to popularity surveys).

Honestly I thought we were past that by now. I got the impression that shows refrain from doing that joke nowadays or twist it somehow. Here it feels more forced than back in Love Hina days.

In this episode, they continue with the plot or subplot of the abusive merchant, but it is resolved in such a silly way that the only thing left to do is to speed up the episode to 1.5x and watch as one of the girls does something foolish to solve an even more foolish problem.

Isn't there going to be a chapter where the Shigariku doesn't get drunk from anything and end up almost naked? By the way, it seems that between joking and joking about wanting to eat the protagonist, it will end up really being his desire to be with him because they have known each other since they were children, I would like them to tell us more about the story of the smell he liked when they went with his father to eat.

except for the ridicolous concept of drunk Shiragiku (seriously, not even Tsukuyo from Gintama gets wasted like that with such little-to-no quantity) and the usual misunderstanding consequences, this was a great episode. Hayato made clever choices in not giving up to the thugs that thrashed the stall (not surprised by the connection to the old creep from the episode before) and Ami Tsuruga was badass. Lol, the flowers crown actually had missiles installed.

Im a bit late but i wonder. ouka is a pretty uncommon name. or is it?

Its kinda strange, out of the 4 eps so far the ed has only played properly on ep 2. at least they're utiliziing the screentime i guess
Because there's 5 girls its pretty much impossible for them to all fit into one episode. Or something along those lines.
Even then I feel like ouka and ami still got a bit shafted this ep.
Next time?

Searching for ouka mostly gets results forrr ouka. Though there are other results too.
